  3. FS2004/FSX Spitfire Mk IX Clipped

FS2004/FSX Spitfire Mk IX Clipped. The rapid pace of wartime development saw the Spitfire Mk. IX design tweaked many times during production. In order to gain a slight improvement in roll rate and about 4 mph at low level, the wing-clipping was done on those models intended (or modified) for low-level. The increase in the rate of roll made it still more competitive with the German FW 190 at low altitude. Czech and Danish version included. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSX Acceleration, Windows 7/8. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

  4. FS2004/FSX M6A Aichi Seiran

FS2004/FSX M6A Aichi Seiran Floatplane. These planes were intended for catapult launches on IJN submarine aircraft carriers like I-400. Such kinds of Japanese submarines, with a length of 120 m, were the biggest submarines of WWII. It is not imaginable, but that those submarines was able to carry three Aichi Seiran floatplanes in their hangar. This Aichi Seiran has a VC and an animated navigator/gunner and a animated bomb. Also an AI version is included for those who like to create traffic with a take off from such an AI submarine (requires I400-SUBMARINEPACKAGE.ZIP). You can make also a catapult launch using the great tool "AiCarriers2" (AICARRIERS2.ZIP) and the saved flight. Made with FSDS 3.5 by Erwin Welker.

  5. FS2004/FSX Spitfire MK VIII

FS2004/FSX Spitfire MK VIII. The success of the Mk IX reduced the importance of the Mk VIII. Although the first production model was completed in November 1942, it took until June 1943 for the first squadron to be equipped with the model. The first squadron to use it was No. 145, based on Malta. By the summer of 1943 the crisis in the Mediterranean was in the past, and the Mk VIII saw extensive overseas duty, often in a ground attack role. U. S. and Aussi version. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSX Acceleration, Windows 7/8. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

  7. FS2004/FSX Spitfire MkIXc_IXe

FS2004/FSX Spitfire MkIXc_IXe. The Spitfire Mk IX was originally developed as a stopgap measure in response to the appearance of the Focke-Wulf FW 190A. In July 1942 an early Mk IX was flown against a captured Fw 190A, and the two aircraft were discovered to have very similar capabilities. The RAF had its answer to the Fw 190 problem. You get two variants with working VC; ZD-B is still flying today at many airshows and JE-J was flown by Johny Johnson, the most successful British WW2 ace. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSX Acceleration, windows 7/8. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

  12. FS2004/FSX Messerschmitt Bf110 G4 Nightfighter

FS2004/FSX Messerschmitt Bf110 G4 Nightfighter. After the Battle of Britain, the Bf110 lost its status as the elite of the Luftwaffe. It did quite well in the opening stages of the Barbarossa campaign against Russia and in Greece/Yugoslavia, but even then, it was considered semi-obsolete. It was very successfull as a night fighter however, and served for most of the war. Original CFS2 model by Mathias Pommerien, Enrique Medal and Alessandro Biagi. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSXacceleration Windows 7/8. Upgrade to FSX/FSX Acceleration, FS2004 by A.F. Scrub.

  14. FS2004/FSX Bristol Blenheim Mk I

FS2004/FSX Bristol Blenheim Mk I. The Bristol Blenheim was the first modern two engine metal skinned bomber of the RAF. By the outbreak of World War II few Blenheim Mk Is remained in service with home-based bomber squadrons, having been superseded in the bombing role by the Blenheim Mk IV. But their usefulness was by no means ended, many continuing to serve as conversion trainers and, initially, as crew trainers in OTUs. Original model by Thicko, upgrade to FSX/FS2004 by A.F. Scrub.

FS2004/FSX Morane Saulnier D-3802. The Swiss continued development of the MS.412 when French involvement stopped following the June 1940 Armistice. The D.3802 was based on the MS.540, with a Sauer YS-2 (1250 hp) engine. The prototype flew in the autumn of 1944. After being retired from operational use as a fighter, the type remained in service as a trainer and target tug until 1959. Tested in FSX Acceleration, FSX and FS2004, Windows 7 and 8. 16. FS2004/FSX Focke-Wulf Ta 152C

FS2004/FSX Focke-Wulf Ta 152C. The Focke-Wulf Ta 152C was Kurt Tank's finest fighter, and the one which represented the pinnacle of mainstream development of the Fw 190 line. Series production orders for the Ta 152C had been placed in October 1944, but the actual production was only just beginning when Allied forces overran the assembly plants, so this fighter never entered service with the Luftwaffe. Tested in FS2004/FSX/FSX Acceleration Windows 7/8. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

  18. FS2004/FSX Focke-Wulf 190D Dora

FS2004/FSX Focke-Wulf 190D Dora. The longnose Dora was built mainly to adapt the proven Fw 190A to combat operations at high altitudes, above 7000 m (20,000 ft), where Allied bomber formations operated. Conversion to the D version, involved the installation of a new liquid cooled 12 cylinder Jumo 213A, rated at 1726 hp. The front of the aircraft was therefore lengthened, 50 cm extended at the rear of the plane, and some of the interior components were relocated. This was a fighter that could stand up to the best of the Allies. Along with the Ta 152, it represented the epitome of German piston-engined fighter design. Tested in FSXacc, FSX, FS2004, Windows 7 and 8.1. Model by A.F. Scrub.

  24. FS2004/FSX Focke Wulf Bomber FW-200 Condor

FS2004/FSX Focke Wulf Bomber FW-200 Condor long range bomber and reccon aircraft. Based on an advanced passenger airplane with four engines the Condor was due to WWII converted to a bomber and a long range reccon and anti shiping aircraft. Mark "Shessi" from SOH has built two FS-models usable in CFS2 (not tested, but probably also in FS2002) FS2004 and FSX. One model carries below the wings four bombs, the other one two Henschel HS-293, a radio-controlled glide bomb with rocket engine. The VC of this Condor model comes from Greg Law's CFS2-model and some other details and parts, like the KEDI gauges comes from Hauke Keitel. The contribution from Erwin Welker is the FSX compatible panel and weapon configuration and the added views for FSX. These cameras provide gunner views for all of the four gun stations plus external views, showing the best sides of Shessis detailed airplane. (See also FSX_FW200_CONDOR-TURRETGUNNER.ZIP)

  25. FS2004/FSX Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat

FS2004/FSX Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat. The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service with both the United States Navy and the British Royal Navy (as the Martlet) in 1940. First used in combat by the British in Europe, the Wildcat was the only effective fighter available to the United States Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during the early part of World War II in 1941 and 1942. The Wildcat was outperformed by the more maneuverable, and longer ranged Mitsubishi A6M Zero. But the F4F's ruggedness and its pilots skill, resulted in an air combat kill-to-loss ratio of 5.9:1 in 1942 and 6.9:1 for the entire war. Five paint schemes. Tested in FSXacc, FSX, FS2004, Windows 7 and 8.1. Upgrade by A.F. Scrub.
