  2. FS2004/FSX/Accel/P3D v3 Package Arado-234 Jet Bomber

FS2004/FSX/Accel/P3D v3 Package Arado-234 Jet Bomber. The Arado Ar-234 Blitz was in World War II a high sophisticated jet powered aircraft, supposed for multible purposes. Generally eqipped with two Jumo engines but there were also prototypes with two BMW twin or four single engines. As good as the aerodynamics and the the high speed was the flight handling. The only surviving aircraft is now in a museum near Washington D.C. The models has a realistic 2D panel, made by Lobo Da Silva for CFS2 and a matching VC, both with animated yoke. All models have different animations, one model carries and drops a 1000 kg bomb, the other has a Fieseler Fi-103 "V1" flying bomb on its back and the third is a night-fighter with gun pod. FSDS 3.5 model by Erwin Welker.

  14. FS2004/FSX Supermarine Seafire MkIIIb

FS2004/FSX Supermarine Seafire MkIIIb. The Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm entered World War 2 under equipped with modern aircraft, so a logical move was an adaptation of the RAF’s legendary Spitfire. The first Seafires, designated Mk. 1B, were rebuilds of Spitfire Vb’s and entered service in early 1942. The Mk IIIs served in the front line until 1946 and were then rapidly superseded by Griffon engined Mks XV, XVII and 47s. France equipped some of its Aeronavale squadrons with ex-Royal Navy Seafire IIIs and these saw front line service in Viet Nam in 1946/47. A handful of de-navalised MK IIIs served with the Irish Air Corps until 1960 and were almost certainly the last Seafires in service anywhere. Some historians have derided the wartime Seafire as too fragile and too sensitive to be an effective naval fighter and there is no doubt that its deck landing history reflects many accidents. It is, however, acknowledged as one of the finest low level fighters afloat in 1945 and one of the few that could tackle a Japanese Zero on equal terms. Gmax source included. Model by A.F. Scrub.

  23. FS2004 Airspeed Envoy MK3

FS2004 Airspeed Envoy MK3. Following on from the success of their Envoys Mk 1 and 2, Airspeed Ltd. decided to respond to requests for a machine with better performance. The result was the A.S.6-J MK3 powered by twin 310 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah IX engines. This aircraft had a respectable maximum speed of 211 m.p.h. 183 kt. and a cruise speed of 185 m.p.h. 160 kt. As well as orders from civilian operators, five of these were supplied to the RAF in 1939, one of which was passed to the Fleet Air Arm and used as a communications aircraft. This is modelled here. Although built for FS2004 the model will also fly in FSX. By David Molyneaux.
