  7. FS2004/FSX Mustang P51H V3

FS2004/FSX Mustang P51H V3. The ultimate version of the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang was the P-51H, which was the fastest Mustang variant to see service and one of the fastest (if not the fastest) piston-engined fighters to enter production during the Second World War. However, it was destined never to see any combat, having entered service too late to participate in the final action against Japan. Working landing light, new textures, modified effects. 8. FS2004/FSX Blohm & Voss BV144

FS2004/FSX Blohm & Voss BV144. An upgrade For Kazunori Ito's high altitude interceptor Blohm & Voss BV-155. The modified model now has a VC and a 2D panel regarding very rare photographs from the year 1945. The only change on the exterior model are the rocket pods and improved wheels and FSX prop discs. Kazunori Ito is my idol for almost twenty years. It is a pity that he was forced to stop to continiue with his great hobby in building an incredible high amount of aircraft. Honoring his work but being afraid that this very rare and special aircraft of the last days of WWII will be lost for actual or newer simulators like Acceleration or P3D I allowed myself to upgrade this BV-155. Original model by Kazunori Ito, 2D panel and VC by Erwin Welker.

  10. FS2004/FSX VC And FDE Update For The North American P-51 H

FS2004/FSX VC And FDE Update For The North American P-51 H. This is a VC and FDE update for the North American P-51H Mustang, recently posted by A.F. Scrub. It adds more gauges and some eye-candy to the VC and fixes the inaccurate gauge positioning of most gauges. In additon, I've altered somen parameters and added a "flight tuning" entry in the aircraft.cfg (e.g. the aircraft extremely pulled left during take off), reconfigured the smoke effect and added VC light for night flights. Easy installation. New updates by Michael Pook. Required file: MUSTANG_P51H_V2.ZIP.

  12. FS2004/FSX/FSX St Ed RAF Supermarine Spitfire F 21

FS2004/FSX/FSX St Ed RAF Supermarine Spitfire F 21. With the Mk 21 the elliptical wing gave way to a new one with blunted tips and changes to the flaps and ailerons. The wing was made even stronger and carried four 20mm cannon. The fuselage was redesigned and the whole airframe was heavier than previous Spitfires, meaning the undercarriage had to be made more robust. The wheels were now fully covered by undercarriage doors in flight. This is the contraprop variant from No 41 Squadron R.A.F., flown in the Blackpool races 1947. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

  17. FS2002/FS2004 Arsenal-Delanne 10C2

FS2002/FS2004 Arsenal-Delanne 10C2. The Arsenal-Delanne 10 was an experimental fighter aircraft of French origin. The plane had a rear cockpit and a distinctive tandem wing. This 10-C2 two-seat fighter, designed by Maurice Delanne and built by the Arsenal de l'Aeronautique, was of so-called Nenadovich biplane or tandem wing configuration, the tandem-mounted wings providing a continuous slot effect and offering exceptional center of gravity range. Prototype was virtually complete at Villacoublay when German forces occupied the factory in June 1940. Work on the aircraft continued in a desultory fashion and the first flight test was made in October 1941. After completion of the initial test programme, the aircraft was ferried to Germany for further trials. By Kazunori Ito.

  18. FS2002/FS2004 Miles M.39B Libellula

FS2002/FS2004 Miles M.39B Libellula. This aircraft (from Libellulidae, a taxonomic family of dragonflies) was a Second World War tandem wing experimental aircraft built by Miles Aircraft, designed to give the pilot the best view possible for landing on aircraft carriers. A scale version of the M.39 design was proposed by Miles to meet Air Ministry specification B.11/41 for a fast bomber. The M.39B was used by Miles to generate data from which the M39 design was improved, but the M.39 project was cancelled and the M.39B broken up. By Kazunori Ito.

  19. FS2004/FSX A6M2 Zero

FS2004/FSX A6M2 Zero "Last Samurai" (N8280K). A repaint for the A2A/Shockwave Productions WWII Fighters product. It depicts the Nakajima A6M2 Model 21 owned/operated by the Texas Flying Legends Museum, which flies at airshows around the country. The aircraft is referred to as the "Last Samurai", as it is the only A6M2 Model 21 Zero still flying, the same type used by the Japanese Navy during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Although the actual aircraft is almost entirely new-build, each part copied from original parts or drawings, the aircraft's identity originates from A6M2 serial number 1498, which was recovered from the Solomon Islands in the late 60's. The completed aircraft, which first flew in the summer of 2005, has been praised by Japanese aeronautical engineers and world experts as being the most accurate/authentic of all of the flying reproductions. The exterior repaint was created using Martin Catney's paint kit, and modified VC textures are included to closely match the real aircraft. By John Terrell.

  22. FS2004/FSX Seafire F Mk 46

FS2004/FSX Seafire F Mk 46. The Supermarine Seafire F.Mk.46 was the first version of the Griffon-powered Seafire to be truly suitable for service on aircraft carriers, featuring contra-rotating propellers that solved the handling problems caused by the torque problems introduced with the Griffon. The 24 aircraft that were produced had fixed wings. They were used for training and trials, before being withdrawn in 1951. This is a new model by A.F. Scrub. (See also SEAFIRE_F46_FIX.ZIP)

  24. FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXV

FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXV. The Supermarine Seafire, or Sea Spitfire (the official name), was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter fielded by the Royal Navy. The Mk XV had the single stage Griffon engine in a basically Seafire L Mk III airframe but with wing root fuel tanks, retracting tailwheel and larger tail of the Spitfire VIII. It had folding wings. Armamant was two cannon and four machineguns. The arrester hook was often of the "sting" type, whereas previous marks had used a "v" frame hook. The XV could carry a 500 lb bomb, 390 produced. This is a new model by A.F. Scrub. It is fully working in FS2004 and FSX.

  25. FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXVII

FS2004/FSX Seafire MkXVII. The Supermarine Seafire, or Sea Spitfire (the official name), was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter fielded by the Royal Navy. The Seafire F Mk XVII was a modified Mk XV; the most important changes were the teardrop canopy, reinforced main undercarriage which used longer oleos and a lower rebound ratio. This went some way towards taming the deck behaviour of the Mk XV, reduced the propensity of the propeller tips "pecking" the deck during an arrested landing and the softer oleos stopped the aircraft from occasionally bouncing over the arrestor wires and into the crash barrier. This is a new model by A. F. Scrub. It is fully working in FS2004 and FSX. By A.F. Scrub.
