For anyone flying between the Concord and Portland areas, it makes a good stopping point. The airstrip is adjacent to an active quarry, so beware of heavy vehicles in the vicinity of the airport. Bear Valley is a small airstrip in the Sierra Nevada 30nm south of Lake Tahoe, CA, USA. Its field elevation is 7073 feet so check the density altitude before trying anything here. You got 3200' of gravel to get you down or up. It also goes under the name Bear Valley STOLport. For the helicopter pilots out there, there is a helipad to the north across the Alpine State Hwy 4 that has been taken care of. Make sure you visit the gas station owner when visiting. He is a nice fella'. The custom ortho overlay will sit on top of any runway and taxiway textures in order to use the 'natural' textures. If you use Ortho4XP, the tile configs used can be found in the "read me.txt" file within the archive.    X-Plane 11 Scenery--Ocean City NJ Municipal Airport 26N 1.5. Ocean City, NJ, USA, is a small, self contained, family-friendly, barrier island resort on the southern New Jersey shore. Sandwiched between the more developed towns of Atlantic City and Wildwood, it is distinguished by being a dry (no alcohol sold but plenty consumed!) town with very few high-rises. Its slower pace and unique family friendly vibe bring in seasonal residents who outnumber the locals by 10:1. The small airport, located right in the center of the island, is operated by the city. Its single 3,000' runway serves mostly light GA aircraft, with the occasional turboprop and small bizjet. The beach is an easy walk from the airport which draws many day tripper aviators from the region. Very busy in the summer, very quiet in the winter. If you wish to make an interesting clear weather Appalachian Mountains flight, depart KFTY which can be found here: kfty_fulton_co_arpt_brown_fld_ga.zip and fly into GE99, which in real life is a private airport/resort with unique hangar complexes having apartment suites above. Limit your cruise altitude to 5500 ft. AGL. Lots of water will be viewed soon after departing FTY. As you’re approaching GE33, starting at 10 NM out, keep looking out to your left for a large waterfall.     X-Plane 11 Scenery--CBQ8 Woodcock 1.1. Woodcock, Skeena River Valley, British Columbia, Canada. Woodcock is a former RCAF detachment of Smithers BC, constructed in the 1940s, located in the Skeena River Valley right next to the river. After the war it saw brief use as an emergency field but was soon taken over by the Terrace skydiving club. This club moved to Beaverly in 2004 and the Woodcock airfield continued fast deterioration. The runway has cracked and numerous trees grow from the pavement. In 2019 the British Columbia General Aviation society gathered a few folks to clean up a part of the runway so light general aviation traffic could continue using the strip. The part of the runway BCGA cleared is give or take the first third of runway 20, close to the centerline. This is a farily simple rendition of the strip. A quick try at capturing the current state of the airfield. If using Ortho4XP, ARC source is recommended for this field.     X-Plane 10 And 11 Scenery--9AK2 KAKO 2.0. Kako Retreat Center is a non-profit Christian organization providing Christ-centered retreats, youth camps, workshops, seminars and counseling to encourage and benefit people living in remote Alaskan villages of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region. Kako Retreat Center has a private airstrip that is banana shaped. It can be challenging to fly into especially if you have to land downhill. The strip is 2600 X 75 gravel. Runway 09 and 27. It is north of Russian Mission and west of the Yukon River. There is 100LL fuel available too. This is a model of their summer activities. The video shows an excellent example of landing in both directions. Please see the included documentation for library requirements. Tested only in X-Plane 10. Version 2.0: improved buildings and added more vegetation and a winter package. By David Flamm.

    X-Plane 11 Scenery--Chenega Bay Alaska 1.0. Chenega, Valdez-Cordova Census Area, AK, USA. Chenega is a Chugach-Alutiiq village in Prince William Sound. It was created when the original Chenega village up north was destroyed by the Good Friday Earthquake in 1964. The airfield has a lit gravel runway and an apron. It is surrounded by terrain. This is a quick scenery effort, not as refined as some others, but I still think it's fine for sharing! Built using Ortho4XP terrain. Not tested with default mesh.     X-Plane Scenery--Berlin VFR 3.1. This is a 3D object scenery supplement for the area around Berlin, Germany. The surrounding area of +52+013 is also covered in this scenery. Created mainly for VFR flights in order to increase the realism of the landscape. Requires the following object libraries: FF Library (extended version) (FF_LIBRARY_EXTENDED_LOD.ZIP), OpenSceneryX (OPENSCENERYX.ZIP) and the R2 Library (R2_LIBRARY.ZIP). This scenery uses objects from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse. A big thank you to the many creators of these objects. This version has a reduced object subpart count for improved performance without reducing the actual number of visible objects - night lighting - a few buildings and details added.
