Lee Gilmore Memorial Airport, Gainesville GA, is just off of picturesque Lake Lanier in the heart of Georgia’s mountain country. You wouldn’t guess it was a high-hill airport if you didn’t, like me, taxi through the northern airport fence, turn right and look to the left, then taxi the airport’s perimeter roadways only to discover X-Plane’s roadway stop lights actually function (what a hoot!) X-Plane Scenery--My_Xplane_Parked_Cars_US. If you're like me, I'm sure you find it a little strange that the world has just about no parked vehicles anywhere throughout the world. Most cars are on the move. Well, not anymore... if you install this little edit (that will add Z E R O frame rate hit to your sim performance), you'll have a hard time trying to find a parking spot. This area just covers the United States, if it's received well and I get some good feedback I'll work on Europe next. Note: These are FLAT IMAGES placed onto X-Plane's roadway textures to give the illusions of AI cars parked everywhere. X-Plane 11 Scenery--XFCT Forth Crossing Tours Heliport (H) 1.0. XFCT Scottish Wings Forth Crossing Tours Heliport (H). Welcome to Scottish Wings' latest venture, tours of the majestic Forth River Crossings on the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh. This scenery is intended for rotor heads and anyone who loves the freedom that helicopters provide. You will find a number of objects located near the bridges that you can test your landing skills on, and flying around the magnificent bridge structures particularly at sunrise and at dusk is a really wonderful experience, IMHO. For the scenery to work as it does on my machine, you will need the latest versions of the following libraries: Handy Objects (7.80) , OpenSceneryX, 3D People, world-models, ALES, PM and CDB, and a massive thanks to the authors for all their great work. A special thanks to Ray H as I used some of his fine ships to enhance the scenery. This has been created to work with Orbx True Earth Great Britain North, however should also be OK with the base mesh, although the bridges won’t show, and you could end up in a car park. It really is intended to work with both Edinburgh Airport and TE GB both by Orbx. Please ensure you have the most recent versions installed, otherwise errors may occur. If you have all the latest versions of the above libraries installed you should be good to go, so to install the scenery, download the file, unzip the folder and place directly into your main Custom Scenery folder. Any issues just let me know and I will do what I can to fix them. I set up the scenery with Runways Follow Terrain Contours switched on, as that seems to work best for me. X-Plane 11 Scenery--XCRA Craigievar Heliport And Airstrip (H) 2.1. Welcome to the completely fictitious Craigievar Heliport home of Scottish Wings helicopters, which now includes the nearby microlite airstrip. Located in North East Scotland, not far from Aberdeen, you can explore the beautiful Grampian scenery and Royal Deeside from here. This has been created to work with Orbx TrueEarth Great Britain North, however it should also be OK with the base mesh. Requires the latest versions of the following libraries: 3D People Library (3D_PEOPLE_LIBRARY.ZIP), CDB library (CDB_LIBRARY.ZIP), World Model Library (WORLD2XPLANE.ZIP), The Handy Object Library (THE_HANDY_OBJECTS_LIBRARY.ZIP), RE Library (RE_LIBRARY.ZIP), OpenSceneryX (OPENSCENERYX.ZIP) and RuScenery (RUSCENERY.ZIP). I set the scenery up with "Runways Follow Terrain Contours" switched on, as that seems to work best for me. Constructive comments and feedback always welcome. X-Plane 11 Scenery--LSGY Yverdon-Les-Bains 1.0. Yverdon-les-Bains (LSGY) is a Swiss airport located in the west of the country (Canton de Vaud). The airport has a paved runway (872X18m) and a grass runway 725x20m. Charts are included in the zip file. This scenery is mainly a conversion from the MFS2020 scenery created by Trespassers (Antoine Delacretaz) (also FSX conversion from Jerome Bertholet), who kindly gave me permission to use buildings and textures, and sent me the necessary material. Antoine was very helpful and I thank him very much. However, some libraries are needed for standards objects (see below). Thanks to PilotFlo who put the scenery on the gateway, which was taken for basis.
