X-Plane 11 Scenery--PALJ Port Alsworth 1.2. Port Alsworth, Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska (AK), USA. Port Alsworth is a small settlement in the Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, near the mouth of the Tanalian River, founded by a missionary bush pilot. The settlement has a couple of lodges and B&Bs, the Tanalian School, the national park field headquarters and visitor center and more. This is a great place for fishing trips and enjoying the local wilderness in general. As the Port Alsworth airstrips have a gravel surface, soft field landing and take-off techniques are highly recommended. Unless you operate on the floatplane base, of course. The X-Plane gravel surface is a bit rough and sticky, so keep that in mind while on the ground. Also, Port Alsworth is flattened since default mesh resolution is not nice to this airfield. The scenery pack also includes a few other simple representations of backcountry strips around Lake Clark, including the Keyes Point flight community. X-Plane Scenery--Trier VFR 3.1. This is a 3D object scenery supplement for the German city of Trier and the surrounding area of region +49+006 in Germany. Created mainly for VFR flights in order to increase the realism of the landscape. Requires the following object libraries: FF Library (extended version) (FF_LIBRARY_EXTENDED_LOD.ZIP), OpenSceneryX (OPENSCENERYX.ZIP) and the R2 Library (R2_LIBRARY.ZIP). This scenery uses objects from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse. A big thank you to the many creators of these objects. This version has a reduced object subpart count for improved performance without reducing the actual number of visible objects - night lighting - a few buildings and details added. X-Plane 11 Scenery--Nueva Loja Airport (SENL) Ecuador 1.0. Nueva Loja Airport serves the city of Nueva Loja (also known as Lago Agrio) in the Sucumbios province, in the Ecuadorian jungle. Nueva Loja is the province's capital and most important city. Many activities related to oil exploration and tourism take place in this city so there is some traffic between Quito, and other airstrips in the jungle. The airport has a small terminal which was remodeled and inaugurated in 2010. Due to the proximity with the Colombian border, the Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE) has a base in this airport. The government's oil company, Petroamazonas has its facilities adjacent to the airport and has a platform, hangars, and terminal for their use in the airport. In this scenery package the main buildings of the airport have been modeled as well as others in the vicinity, including Petroamazonas' tanks which can be seen on approach to runway 06. Given that the airport is located in the jungle, there is a lot of vegetation in the airport perimeter and vicinity. This has been represented as accurately as possible. For a better and more realistic experience, the use OrthoPhotos is highly recommended. Please see the Readme.txt file for more information including library requirements. X-Plane 11 Scenery--Alsek River (Dry Bay) Alaska 1.01. Dry Bay, Glacier Bay National Park, Yakutat, AK, USA. This has got to be a stunning part of Alaska. The mountains, glaciers, the ocean, the wilderness. Very remote, yet plenty of public cabins and lodges to stay while exploring the area. This is a pack containing the strips around Dry Bay, along the Alsek River in Glacier Bay National Park, just about 40NM east of Yakutat. The scenery might be a little heavy for low end systems, due to lush vegetation. I dearly recommend using the free Global Forests Alaska pack to make the Alaskan wilderness a bit more lush. Airstrips - A57: Alsek River (do not use XP default AK75) - 3AK: Dry Bay - AK76: East Alsek River - A69: Tanis Mesa, and some more uncharted strips, like Johnny's East River Lodge. Happy flying! Please see the included documentation for further details and library requirements. v1.01: Fixes; like Tanis Mesa ID, windsock at Dry Bay, tree line at Johhny's, bush density at some spots and added two places to land in the bush (look for dirt tracks, hard to find).
