  5. X-Plane 11.30 Macchi M.C.72 1.0

X-Plane 11.30 Macchi M.C.72 1.0. The Macchi MC 72 was an experimental seaplane designed and built by the Italian aircraft company Macchi Aeronautica. The MC72 held the world speed record for all aircraft for five years. In 1933 and 1934, it set a world speed record for piston engine-powered seaplanes which still stands. This X-Plane version is a rework of Baranger's wonderful model found on Blend Swap. Please see the included 'Readme' file for more information. By Rich Robinson.

  6. X-Plane Supermarine Walrus Royal Navy X-5179 1.0

X-Plane Supermarine Walrus Royal Navy X-5179 1.0. This is a fictitious Royal Navy livery for Pedro van Leeuwen's Supermarine Walrus: SUPERMARINE_WALRUS-3.ZIP and SUPERMARINE_WALRUS_V970.ZIP (all three varients). Whilst this is an older X-Plane model (originally created back for X-Plane 8), it is nicely done and highly enjoyable. Simply unzip and place the newly created folder in the liveries directory of the aircraft. By Paul Mort.

  7. X-Plane 10 Fokker D.VIII Add-On/Aerobask Fokker DR.1 2.0.1

X-Plane 10 Fokker D.VIII Add-On/Aerobask Fokker DR.1 2.0.1. The Fokker D.VIII was a monoplane follow-on to the Fokker DR.1 Dreidecker (triplane). It shares the design, structure and engine with the DR.1 but replaces the high drag, three wing configuration with an efficient single parasol wing. A total of 381 were produced at the end of World War I but most were never deployed. It represents some of the most advanced aircraft technology of the era. This version is an add-on to the Aerobask Fokker DR.1 using many of the DR.1's objects, textures and sounds. As such, it will not work without the Aerobask DR1. Documentation included. X-Plane 11 Santos-Dumont Demoiselle 1.1. The Santos-Dumont Demoiselle ("Damselfly" or "Damsel") was a series of aircraft built in France by world aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont. They were light-weight monoplanes with a wire-braced wing mounted above an open-framework fuselage built from bamboo. The pilot's seat was below the wing and between the main wheels of the undercarriage. The rear end of the boom carried a tailwheel and a cruciform tail. New in version 1.1: added pilot (Santos Dumont himself), added sounds and shadows, modified wings textures, modified normal maps and added gloss parts. By Loic Go.

  13. X-Plane 11 Stearman Spirit-of-Artemis v1.0

X-Plane 11 Stearman Spirit-of-Artemis v1.0. This version of the Stearman, originally started out as a "Spirit of Artemis-livery" repaint for Paolo Matricardi beautiful X-Plane 9 and 10 Stearman-Kaydet. However, during the process, Paolo made so many improvements to his model (e.g. a new 9 cylinder radial-engine), we decided to bring it to the community as a completely new aircraft. It now includes bare-metal parts and a reflective mirror. In other words, it is now up to the graphical standards set by X-Plane 11. It has been a great pleasure to work with Paolo Matricardi (creator of the model) and Antonio Fernandez Navarro (EC-KFJ livery, general support, advice and testing). By Leen de Jager.

  22. X-Plane 10 Handley Page HP 42/45 1.5.1

X-Plane 10 Handley Page HP 42/45 1.5.1. The Handley Page H.P.42 and H.P.45 were British four-engine biplane airliners designed to a 1928 Imperial Airways specification by Handley Page of Radlett in Hertfordshire. The HP42 was designed for the long-range Eastern routes and the similar HP45 was built for the European routes. Imperial Airways called the HP 42 the H.P.42E (E for "Eastern" routes - India and South Africa), while the HP 45 was the H.P.42W (W for "Western" i.e. European routes). This X-Plane model looks much like the vintage aircraft, but the author has taken the liberty of adding some modern avionics to the panel for those wanting to follow the original routes. No GPS or FMS, but there is an autopilot and radio with an HSI so the pilot does not have to hand fly the plane for hours on end. Please read the 'README INFO' file in the package for more complete information. By Ron Norvelle.

  24. X-Plane 11 Caproni Campini C.C.2

X-Plane 11 Caproni Campini C.C.2. The Caproni Campini N.1, also known as the C.C.2, was an experimental jet aircraft built in the 1930s by Italian aircraft manufacturer Caproni. The N.1 was powered by a motorjet, a type of jet engine in which the compressor is driven by a conventional reciprocating engine. The N.1 first flew in 1940 and was briefly regarded as the first successful jet-powered aircraft in history, before news emerged of the German Heinkel He 178's first flight a year earlier. There are two models in this package: a research aircraft (reconstruction) for modern airshows, with minimal instrument panel, plus a fully armed (had it been accepted for mass production), with modern full glass fictional instrument panel. 25. X-Plane 11 Supermarine S-6B 1.0

X-Plane 11 Supermarine S-6B 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 Supermarine S-6B, for X-Plane 11. The Supermarine S.6B was a racing seaplane developed by Reginald Mitchell for the Supermarine company in order to win the Schneider Trophy in 1931. It was the last in the line of racing seaplanes developed by Supermarine and followed the S.4, S.5 and the S.6. The plane is light and power is high. Expect violent tendency to roll to the left on take-off when leaving the water. The S-6B has no flaps so plan your landing well ahead with a shallow descent and no power and touch the water almost in horizontal flight. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel.
