  1. X-Plane 115372 CAF PC-21 1.0

X-Plane 115372 CAF PC-21 1.0. This is a completely fictitious livery for the freeware Pilatus PC21 by Vasco Ribeiro: PILATUS_PC-21.ZIP. I took the liberty to have some fun, so I promoted myself from a painter to a Captain and even acquired a back seater whom I never met and I'm really quite dubious about. Oh well! Must give everybody the benefit of doubt. We will just have to keep a open eye on what goes on back there. Well, have fun folks so enjoy, keep her aloft and stick that landing. 3. X-Plane 11.50+ Hawker Harrier T52

X-Plane 11.50+ Hawker Harrier T52 "T-bird" 1.0. This file includes the Harrier G-VTOL, on permanent loan at Brooklands Museum, and XW175 currently at JetArt. Both these two seaters were used for test and development, with G-VTOL also being used as the corporate sales demonstrator. XW175 was used for extensive development of advanced flight control systems and went through the guise of being part of RAE, then DERA before finally being retired from Qinetiq. The textures on the default G-VTOL are fairly accurate, but the texturing on XW175 is a bit of a compromise. Both may be fitted with extra tanks and/or weapons, but you will have to add these in Plane Maker. Please see the flyingnotes.txt file and setup your joystick for VTOL. This is a ground up re-development of an original V9 idea by Daniel Grimes. By Ray Hill.

  4. X-Plane 11.50+ Sukhoi Su-24 1.3

X-Plane 11.50+ Sukhoi Su-24 1.3. The Sukhoi Su-24 is a supersonic, all-weather attack aircraft developed in the Soviet Union. The aircraft has a variable-sweep wing, twin-engines and a side-by-side seating arrangement for its crew of two. It was the first of the USSR's aircraft to carry an integrated digital navigation/attack system. The model presented here is Barry Leger's superb X-Plane 9 Sukhoi Su-24, now updated so as to fly in X-Plane 11. Many thanks to Sean McLeod for his encouragement and full back catalogue to Barry's work. Barry's copyright (as requested), is contained in the aircraft folder. The purpose of updating these models, apart from keeping Barry's work alive, is because the aircraft I'm going to upload are simply not yet available in X-Plane 11. Please give it a try and let me know of any problems. I hope you enjoy it. V1.3 has two new liveries, Ukraine and Ukraine Digital. By Alan Ashforth.

  7. X-Plane 11.50+ BAC TSR-2 Phase 2 Version 2

X-Plane 11.50+ BAC TSR-2 Phase 2 Version 2. This complements my previous submission of the TSR2 prototype BAC_TSR2_V2.ZIP. It represents how it may have evolved and shows the original optional liveries that the original author, Daniel Grimes, provided. This is now configured with four drop tanks and a pair of WE177 tactical free fall nuclear weapons in the bomb bay, plus wing fences and much improved flight balance. Please read the pilots notes, it has blown flaps so requires some special treatment for landing. By Ray Hill.

  8. X-Plane 11.50+ BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 2.1.4

X-Plane 11.50+ BAe Sea Harrier FRS.1 2.1.4. The British Aerospace Sea Harrier is a naval short take-off and vertical landing/vertical take-off and landing jet fighter, reconnaissance and attack aircraft; the second member of the Harrier Jump Jet family developed. This model is a major upgrade of the Sea Harrier FRS1 with full 3D modelling and cockpit. It now has two liveries for 899 Naval Air Squadron, each of which were used before and after the Falklands conflict. 899 Naval Air Squadron was primarily a training unit operating out of Yeovilton. The lever to the right of the panel open/closes the cockpit. Please read the "flying notes.txt" file for further details. Version 2.1.4: There has been a really annoying shadow on the main panel on loading. I finally found out it was caused by reflection from the back panel object, so flipped the normals on the relevant faces which seems to have solved it. By Ray Hill.

  9. X-Plane 11.50+ Grumman E-2 Hawkeye 2.2

    X-Plane 11.50+ Grumman E-2 Hawkeye 2.2.
David Austin of AOA Simulations has kindly given me permission to
re-post this update for X-Plane 11. I have added wing folding which
isn't strictly true to life (operate using dihedral lever at mid
bottom of panel) but other than some realignment of fin-tips it is as
per his original. A great piece of work last touched in 2010. Good
stuff on the panel and sounds and engine/prop wind up is very
plausible. Version 2.2: I made two mistakes, one in the engine
settings and the other in wing folding! It now starts with wings down,
and a dihedral lever at the bottom centre of the panel can be used to
fold them. It now flies like a proper plane. By Ray Hill.

  10. X-Plane 11.50+ Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-27 1.0

X-Plane 11.50+ Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-27 1.0. The Sukhoi Su-27 is a Soviet-origin twin-engine supermanoeuvrable fighter aircraft designed by Sukhoi. It was intended as a direct competitor for the large United States fourth-generation fighters such as the Grumman F-14 Tomcat and F-15 Eagle. This excellent old aircraft by SRX7775 (2012) and before him by Barry Leger, has been updated so as to fly in X-Plane 11 (alternative version can be found here: SU-27-1.ZIP). Thanks to SRX7775 for permission. For my part, I have made the canopy appear, moved the weapons into position, and fixed the glass so that it doesn't show the ground when flying through clouds. In the future I might add a 3D cockpit and maybe some new paints. For now, enjoy the ability to turn on a sixpence and really throw this aircraft around. You could even engage in a bit of aerial combat! Ukrainian livery donated by Troopie. By Alan Ashforth.

  14. X-Plane 11.50+ MiG-21M Update 1.2.2

X-Plane 11.50+ MiG-21M Update 1.2.2. This is mostly a graphics update to Norman Wikstroem and Francesco d'Arpa's X-Plane 10 MiG 21M. We need a good MiG 21 in X-Plane 11, and this model just needed bringing up to date (it has a 3D cockpit too). You will need to download the original here: MIG-21M_XP10-1.ZIP and then place the contents of my folders into the originals and overwrite when asked. The flight model by the original authors is fantastic, as it can be flown right down to 140kts with full flaps. It can take off by itself with full afterburners and full flaps (second position), and just a bit of up trim. Version 1.2.2: I realized after adding the Tacan, that this aircraft has almost no NAV equipment, beyond a compass, so on the right-side panel, next to the NAV unit, there's now an RMI unit and a DME numeric, both of which work with the Tacan, or if you click on the map for a NAV number, it will show on the RMI and DME now. 16. X-Plane 11.50+ Douglas X-3 Stiletto 1.0

X-Plane 11.50+ Douglas X-3 Stiletto 1.0. The Douglas X3 Stiletto was a 1950s United States experimental jet aircraft with a slender fuselage and a long tapered nose, manufactured by the Douglas Aircraft Company. Its primary mission was to investigate the design features of an aircraft suitable for sustained supersonic speeds, which included the first use of titanium in major airframe components. Douglas designed the X-3 with the goal of a maximum speed of approximately 2,000 mph, but it was seriously underpowered for this purpose and could not even exceed Mach 1 in level flight. Although the research aircraft was a disappointment, Lockheed designers used data from the X-3 tests for the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter which used a similar trapezoidal wing design in a successful Mach 2 fighter. Many thanks to Emmanuel Baranger for the starting point for the 3D model and big thanks to Steve Baugh for writing the fuel system plugin. Please see the included documentation for further details. 17. X-Plane 11 Vought F7U Cutlass Mod 1.0

X-Plane 11 Vought F7U Cutlass Mod 1.0. This is a modification for the F7U Cutlass by Philippe Gastebois, consisting of FMOD sounds and flight model tweaks. You must have Philippe's original aircraft installed for this mod to work: VOUGHT_F7U_UPLOADED.ZIP. Sound recordings of the Westinghouse J46 engine are rare. The sounds produced here are from a J46 installed in "Green Mamba" - a jet powered drag racing car in which its owner, Doug Rose, was sadly killed in 2018. To install this mod - copy the original Cutlass aircraft folder and then drop the files in the download into it. By Dan Hopgood.

  21. X-Plane 11 Cessna O-2A Mod 1.0

X-Plane 11 Cessna O-2A Mod 1.0. This is a quick and dirty FMOD sound set for the X-Plane 9 Cessna O-2A Skymaster by Philippe Gastebois (these files here are for X-Plane 11) This mod simply uses the default Cessna 172 FMOD sounds with the .snd file modified to simulate two engines. I also replaced the pilots with a single, modified Laminar Research pilot and civilianised the model, removing all weapons and military equipment, thus saving 300kg and helping the flight dynamics. A quick repaint and this is the result. It won't win any prizes, but I like the look of the Skymaster and I think this is worth a quick fling around the sky. It still retains its 2D panel. Note: this is Philippe's model, not mine and as such you must have his original aircraft installed for this to work: CESSNA_O-2A.ZIP. Overwrite the original files with the ones in this mod. The Cessna O-2 Skymaster is a military version of the Cessna 337 Super Skymaster, used for forward air control and psychological operations by the US military between 1967 and 2010. Performance (especially at cruising altitudes) was degraded due to the added antennas and significant weight increase but was considered sufficient for the anticipated low-level operation.
