About This File

X-Plane 11.50+ Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-27 1.7. The Mikoyan MiG-27 is a variable-sweep ground-attack aircraft, originally built by the Mikoyan-Gurevich design bureau in the Soviet Union and later licence-produced in India by Hindustan Aeronautics as the Bahadur. It is based on the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 fighter aircraft, but optimised for air-to-ground attack. The model presented here is Barry Leger's superb MiG-27, now updated so as to fly in X-Plane 11. Many thanks to Sean McLeod for his encouragement and full back catalogue to Barry's work. Barry's copyright (as requested), is contained in the aircraft folder. The purpose of updating these models, apart from keeping Barry's work alive, is because the aircraft I'm going to upload are simply not yet available in X-Plane 11. It has manual sweep wings, so assign keyboard or joystick buttons for this. Please give it a try and let me know of any problems. I hope you enjoy it. Please see the included documentation for more details and changes. By Alan Ashforth.
