  1. oh i appologize, yes i see your point, im sure theres is a way since the files do have the same parameteres that can be edited thru +Notepad
  2. Just my intuition but they might do it...who knows, if they do it great! Xbox is a console not made to be fussing with directories. Can you add freewares to an xbox game today? I dont know Ive never seen my nephews doing it They can make everything for xbox but it will never have the flexibility of a PC and there will always be stuff in the course of both sims that people say: "is it available for xbox" mmm not yet
  3. For paywares maybe For freewares they dont have this obligation Because they are doing things fast, sometimes updating several files So they just click in a directory and with the right mouse button choose "create zip file" and this will create a zip file of the directory, which will then create a subfolder when unzipped.
  4. Exactly, yes...then this is the cause But a note to the OP This is very common. The freeware uploaders dont care much because they asume everybody knows this since handling folders have been the same since FS98 ! Each user when downloading a zip file must do it to a temporary directory of your choice (usually Downloads Folder) then with your mouse you go clicking each directory of the zip file to see how many there are, once you get to the last directory which contains the scenery files you click on THAT one, copy and paste to the community folder. I think nearly 100% of freewares have double folders or more in their zip files. This is a standard procedure you must always do. Manually check the directory structure
  5. I believe on the sim is more realistic than P3D cause when you turn lights on, lights are on. Inhave switched cockpit lights in a rainy day at midday and could notice lights in cockpit of course if there is too much sunlight you wont notice perhaps, but they are on
  6. It doesnt seem long, i have dirs in my Community folder with names longer than that Could it be he is traying to install a folder that contains a subfolder? This has been exhaustively explained, make sure the folder inside your addon already contain the scenery files and not another folder with the same title
  7. Here, https://youtu.be/lLygKmOBCR4 a short video today of C152 levelled, after trimming a bit correct speed cruise Flight Model modern realistic with all sliders 100%
  8. Its not this case of course, the OP specifically said he had difficulties, which is the right thing to say. Many other threads title Autopilot broken, or opening a ticket... When they should title "I have difficulties understanding how it works"
  9. Oh thats good to hear, then its normal, must have always been like that. Thanks!
  10. jring2 i made short video showing the 152, done right now ten minutes ago, using Modern flight mode which has all realistic slides to 100% https://youtu.be/lLygKmOBCR4 (disregard quality, my room has too much sunlight but you get the idea)
  11. no its 1980x1080 in both windows and msfs I cant assure it has been like that from the first time, i believe it was normal and it turned larger after a CTD
  12. Thats good to hear! I always use "Modern" which puts all sliders at 100% Realistic Mode and seemed normal to me. But again i have a PP license. Now if anyone posts thread about control or sensitivity I will suggest them try your finding: In General / Flight Model / switch from "Modern"to "Alternate" and move the sliders
  13. Yes, mine when properly trimmed flies without touching the stick, are you usong the C152aerobat? or the standard?
  14. It happened to me also and i search all forums looking for someone with the same symptom Also mouse lagging. No idea what the reason of pointing change, the normal look is the one outside the sim
  15. Im just sad that zendesk must be full of "autopilot doesnt work" or "autopilot is broken" in such a way that MS could decide to downgrade to an the "easy profile" so as to please the large audience and then these folks go flying around saying "look! as real as it gets"
  16. Excellent! subscribed for Airbus check also 320 Sim Pilot, he is a real airbus pilot and DRAWYAH for long haul fmc flights Clumsy for autopilot
  17. No problems. In fact the C152 is being praised as the most realistic of all the default planes. Need to discover whats the problem. I suspect its some setting you have ON in the Options ASSISTANCE Go thru all of them specially "Piloting"
  18. as i said on other forum I heard GTA had many bugs upon release. Or if you take games with few bugs like a Racing game where everything happens on a limited track less than a mile wide, or FIFA football where the universe is a small rectangle. Easy puding anyone knows a game with similar complexity to MSFS? When you compare a car with just a speedometer to a cockpit with Garmin etc, plus real weather, plus simulating gravity and forces, scenery. And if there is a similar complex game...did it have bugs upon release? I believe its impossible not to see bugs on a complex game like this one, (unless you want to spend ten years in the making) , because the fastest way to solve the bugs is to release early so all the bugs can be quickly compiled and reported by millions of users. Its a strategy. They release it early so the bugs can be dealt earlier. Thousands of different PC settings couldnt beat even with a larger beta audience
  19. Vern, what airplane are you using, intended route and waypoint that sents you straight to the ground by doing what....if you wish, i`ll replicate and make a video
  20. It will run I have a very similar an i5 7400 3ghz 16ram GTX1060 3GB ram and run at 1980x1080p at High End But my monitor helps the fps because it has Freesync. You should be OK with medium settings
  21. FS9 had to be abandoned once the 3D cockpits became standard. Nothing worked in FS9 3d cockpit Skywatcher12 you seem to be someone that arrived in FS9 very recently, since your first post is from 2019, unless you prove you were active in sims by 2004, its very easy to get a decent computer from 2019 and find that FS9 runs smooth Its like if we jump to the year 2035 and some guy says he likes MSFS2020 because he gets 60fps Well Im getting 60fps in MSFS2020 in the year 2020 So whats the point of that statement? FS9 is primitive, i know cause i played it and shared addons in the library here from launch day, i knew its limitations at the time...we just move on. If your machine cant handle the current sim thats another story. Guys in Russia with old pentium computers are still playing FS2000, so what? FS9 was short lived, just 2 years. There was no point in keep releasing patches for it. In 2006 MS released FSX that was more capable of managing 3d cockpit and xml files
