  1. FSX Vertigo Dauntless

FSX Vertigo Dauntless "What If" RAF/RN Repaints. These repaints are for the Vertigo Dauntless. These repaints are totally fictitious. The Dauntless never flew in the RAF or Royal Navy except a few for evaluation at Boscombe Down, but I really like the Dauntless and wanted to do something different. So, "what if" 12 Sqn, having used up their Fairy Battles, replaced them with the Dauntless for a year or so before re-equipping with Wellingtons. To get in to action, "what if" 301 Sqn were given the Dauntless until they also were re-equipped with Wellingtons. In 1940, 8 Dutch Fokker T.VIII's escaped the Netherlands and were formed into 320 Sqn of RAF Coastal Command. "What if" in 1941 320 Sqn replaced the tired Fokkers with the Dauntless instead of the Hudson, and used them until 1943 when they switched to the B-25 Mitchell. In the Fleet Air Arm, the standard dive bomber until 1941 was the Blackburn Skua. "What if" this was replaced by the Dauntless and supplemented by the introduction of the Barracuda in 1943 which took over on fleet carriers but the Dauntless was retained on the smaller escort carriers. 2. FSX Vertigo Dauntless Repaints CBI/Pacific

FSX Vertigo Dauntless Repaints CBI/Pacific. These repaints are for the Vertigo Dauntless. These three repaints are totally fictitious. The Dauntless never flew in the RAF or Royal Navy except a few for evaluation at Boscombe Down, but I really like the Dauntless and wanted to do something different. So, "what if" the Australians were able to purchase the Dauntless instead of the Vultee Vengeance. The Dauntless may have equipped 5 Sqn, RAAF. After 27 Sqn lost all of their Blenheim MkI's in late 1941 early 1942, "what if" they received the Dauntless until the Beaufighter became available. As a Blackburn Skua replacement, "what if" the Dauntless flew alongside Fleet Air Arm Hellcats and Corsairs from HMS Indefatigable in the British Pacific Fleet. By Nick Bradin.

  3. FSX/P3D v3/v4 Early B17-D Flying Fortress

FSX/P3D v3/v4 Early B17-D Flying Fortress. The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engined heavy bomber developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). The B17 bomber was intended from the outset to attack strategic targets by precision daylight bombing, penetrating deep into enemy territory by flying above the effective range of antiaircraft artillery. Turbo-supercharged radial engines were to give the necessary high-altitude performance, and heavy defensive armament was to provide protection against attacking fighters. FSX/P3D model by A.F. Scrub.

  20. FSX Kawanishi Shiden With New Panels

FSX Kawanishi Shiden With New Panels. This is yet another update for the Kawanishi Shiden, recently updated for FSX by A.F. Scrub. It is particularly for those simmers who are interested in authentic and elaborate panels. This update features the Shiden with the superb VC and 2D panel created by Tim Conrad for his Mitsubishi Raiden. As Mr. Scrub's new update is a native FSX model, it was possible to incorporate this almost payware-like panel from Tim Conrad's Mitsubishi. Incorporation of the new panels by Michael Pook. This is the whole aircraft.

  24. FSX/Prepar3D Ermolaev ER-2

FSX/Prepar3D Ermolaev ER-2 The ER2 (sometimes called Yer-2 or Jer-2) went into production in late 1940. It was one of the very few diesel powered aircraft. A total of approximately 360 examples were built. The Er-2 was popular in service with its crews, and participated in many heroic encounters. Er-2s played a key role in the Defense of Moscow, took part in the bombing of Berlin, and conducted very long duration patrols over the Baltic coastline, almost always without escort. Examples of both major versions were still in service in 1945 with several Regiments, and production of the type continued after the War with the Er-2ON transport. FSX/P3D v3/v4 model by A.F. Scrub.

  25. FSX Gloster Gladiator N5519

FSX Gloster Gladiator N5519. This repaint is for the FS Addon Gloster Gladiator. Gloster Sea Gladiator N5519/R was based at Hal Far in Malta in June 1940. Aircraft N5519 is mentioned as one of the Gladiators that made up the trio "Faith", "Hope" and "Charity" which helped save Malta from invasion. The story may be mostly wartime propaganda in a desperate time but does not diminish their heroics. This color scheme is usually depicted with a black and white underside but this model does not allow this, so the underside is sky grey which is not wholly inaccurate. The repaint is a version of one of the default paints which is very blue! By Nick Bradin.
