FSX Fokker D-23 Updated
FSX Fokker D-23 Updated. The Fokker D.XXIII was a Dutch single-seat fighter designed and built in 1939. The prototype first flew in May 1939 but the trial flights identified problems with the cooling of the rear engine and general engine performance. In May 1940 the program was abandoned when the German forces invaded the Netherlands. This is the FS2002/2004 model by Kazunori Ito, updated for FSX by Hertzie. The package includes the prototype as well as several "what if" repaints by different designers. It also features a newly designed virtual cockpit and a matching 2D panel. Exhaust smoke added. This is a repaint of the payware Virtavia B29 Superfortress representing 44-61902 "Apache", a B-29A-50-BN flown out of Kadena Air Base during the Korean War. Apache was piloted from the right seat by 1ST LT E.J. McGill, author of the book "Black Tuesday Over Namsi", an accounting of the forgotten Korean air battle that would forever change the conduct of strategic aerial bombardment. FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American P-51D Mustang. The P-51 D Mustang remains to this day the most widely recognized and deeply revered propeller driven fighter aircraft ever built. Originally designed for the RAF and equipped with an Allison engine, the Mustang was later fitted with the Packard-Merlin, which provided superior high altitude performance. Its low-speed handling was tricky. Landing a Corsair on a carrier was a difficult task. For these reasons, most Corsairs initially went to Marine Corps squadrons which operated off land-based runways. The U.S. Navy did not get into combat with the type until September 1943. FSX USMC Cessna OE-2 (O-1C). FSXA - Cessna OE-2 (O-1C), US Marines version. This is a new model specific to represent the O-1C version of the aircraft. Archive contains the model, panel and two set of textures depicting two examples of the aircraft during the period it was used by US Marine Corps. Texture 1 is for VMO-6 South Vietnam 1960 and Texture 2 is for NAS Patuxent River circa 1965. The model, developed with FSDS 3.5 from Abacus features a complete set of animations and an animated 3d virtual cockpit. Visual 3D model and textures by Massimo Taccoli. FSX/FS2004 HA-1112 M Buchon. In 1942, the Spanish government arranged a manufacturing licence with Messerschmitt AG to build the Bf 109G-2. Spain produced its own models with different engines. The final variant was the HA-1112-M1L Buchon (Pouter). It first flew on 29 March 1954 with a 1,600 hp Rolls-Royce Merlin 500-45 engine and Rotol propeller, both purchased as surplus from the UK. This engine had a chin intake, that altered the lines of the Bf 109's airframe. Due to their longevity, Buchons have appeared in several war films masquerading as Bf 109Es and Gs. Gmax model by A.F. After uploading the package I've discovered a minor graphic shortcoming in the brown VC, which somewhat disturbs the pilot's view at the panel. As I've invested a lot of time in designing the VC I want it to be perfect, so here is a correction. Very easy installation, just delete the old panel folder and replace it with the new one. FSX Bell P-39 Airacobra With Updated Panels. The P39 was the principle American fighter when WWII broke out. When the United States entered World War II, the Bell P-39 was its primary fighter plane. By war’s end, nearly 10,000 had been produced in nearly 48 variants, making the "Airacobra" one of Bell's most successful aircraft ever. This is a major panel update for the Airacobra featuring a completely reworked virtual cockpit and 2D panel with animated yoke. I've tried to design the panels as close as possible to the real P-39 panel, now with almost 100% authentic look and gauge configuration. Original model by Simtech, converted to FSX by A.F. Scrub. The package features seven fine liveries by Simtech and different authors. Exhaust smoke added as well. The model may work in FS2004 and P3D (version 3).
