  1. When you press Escape you should see some options at the bottom of your screen One of them is “End” for main menu One of the most useful is “spacebar” to save/load flights! Regards Steve
  2. Presumably (& hopefully) they will add support for these in one of the updates. In the mean time you can use spad.next (http://www.spadnext.com) I’ve been using it for my panels. It’s not perfect though & I haven’t had everything working. I have also read somewhere of other alternatives which are supposed to work. Maybe someone else here can provide more info Regards Steve
  3. There is an update due out next week so maybe these installation problems will be fixed. I would certainly think it’d be a priority. Regards Steve
  4. Not yet, unless you can do it via the developer mode menubar, but I doubt it. There have been many discussions about it in other forums and a lot of people want it (myself included) Let’s hope MS/Asobo add this in a future update. Regards Steve
  5. I too bought the Premium Deluxe from the MS Store. I installed the digital ownership first. On my screen the premium deluxe upgrade was showing as “not compatible with this device” - So I installed the standard flight sim (the one top of your list) & when it was done, I checked and everything had been installed, including the premium content. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Like you, I have noticed loads of similar posts about this and the is an update due next week so maybe Asobo will have fixed it. Regards Steve
  6. “called the Microsoft help line and got a technician who remotely took control of my new Dell Alienware Vanguard R-11 Gaming Computer” I cringed when I read that. I hope it really was Microsoft you called. Sorry to hear you’ve had problems & I hope you manage to sort it somehow. Regards Steve
  7. I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with my mouse wheel rotating when I click it (I presume you know you don’t have to keep it held down to pan) I personally have got used to looking around that way. I only really use my hat switch to reset the view forward LOL I used to use TrackIR - I might even dig it out again sometime. (mind you.. VR might be here soon) Regards Steve
  8. I’ll certainly give it a try, thanks :) Update: I have done the same as you, but with the Robin DR400.. & it worked! You only need to change the tail number & the ATC callsign is automatically changed, as is the callsign that you see in the cockpit. Thank again! Regards Steve
  9. Actually I just use the mouse for panning around in MSFS. It’s so simple Regards Steve
  10. Thanks dogfish. This one is worked. It took a couple of minutes to download.. & so easy(jet) to install! :) Regards Steve
  11. Hi John. Just had a good fly around & I agree it is stunning... only as someone else pointed out, some of it looks overgrown. Also.. I was seeing a lot of what looked like tree trunks. Not trees, just the trunks.. loads of them. Did you see these? I’ll have another look later. Regards Steve
  12. I’m there now.. sadly it says I can’t download them yet due to demand. I guess word is getting out :) I’ll try again later Regards Steve
  13. Great! Thanks for that!! & they will be free too? Can’t wait Regards Steve
  14. Sorry to hear you can’t get the parking brake off John LOL I hope you sort it. My Saitek throttles has one of the switches already allocated for it. I presume you’ve gone into the control settings? I need to check out Las Vegas myself :) Regards Steve
  15. “Even the scenery looks false in MOST areas” What are you talking about? It’s sooooo much better than anything we’ve a Ever had. You sure your not talking about FS4? FS5 or even FSX? P3d? As for controls.. my Honeycomb yoke works wonders, as do my Saitek throttles (I’m waiting for the Bravo) and even my cheap (Saitek) Xbox controller. No problems here. Regards Steve
  16. No, not yet. I think the only things you can drag are things like the VFR Map, ATC menu...etc Hopefully when we have multi-monitor support we’ll be able to do it. There’s an update due on 27th... so maybe? Regards Steve
  17. I’m pretty sure you’re right. I too would prefer it if the sim would save these things, but I don’t think it does (yet) Regards Steve
  18. And it’s this stretching which makes the left & right screens look distorted. Both X-Plane & P3D have multiple monitor support. You have the front view on your main monitor.. a left view on your left monitor & right on your right monitor. MSFS doesn’t yet. When it does, it should look better & not distorted/stretched. Regards Steve
  19. I think you need to chill out mate & drop the attitude. I don’t run any Xbox program during flight sim. Saying that, there obviously is an Xbox live process going on which handles the multiplayer connection etc but it’s nothing I have ever launched, neither does it pop up and I wouldn’t even know about it if I hadn’t opened the task manager to check whixh processes were running. Boysee.. I presume you got the sim using the Xbox game pass? If so then I’m guessing why you have it running. Not sure you can do much about it. Regards Steve
  20. I won’t be going back either. While I type this (on the iPad) I am currently sat next to the runway at Leeds Bradford (Orbx addon) watching other players landing etc. I can hear & see the rain hitting my canopy. So realistic. I could actually be there! :) Regards Steve
  21. I couldn’t agree more! I can’t believe the negative comments here. I personally have been flying since FS4 & we have come such a long way. Ok so the menus & viewing options are a bit different but you soon get used to it. Microsoft & Asobo have done a fantastic job & I love it. The best bit is thy will keep updating & improving it for years to come. Regards Steve
  22. No, actually Tim it’s Walton Wood just outside Pontefract. I think it’s an aircraft maintenance firm. I have seen helicopters there before but nothing much. In the sim though, they’ve even added one or two static planes :) I’ve been to Crosland Moor a few times. To say it’s a generic one it’s not bad. I had a dabble with creating scenery years ago & I actually made my own Crosland Moor (& Emley Moor mast!) for FS2002 - still available on this website :) Regards Steve
  23. Yes, that’s what we’re doing. Alt+enter puts it in windowed mode & then we have to stretch the window across all three. Hopefully there will be a better way when they add proper multi screen support Regards Steve
  24. Yep, I can’t see it either. Has to be a mistake though. There’s a very small farm airstrip that I pass on the way to work. Most people wouldn’t even know it was there.. but it’s included in the sim! BGBW should certainly be there. Regards Steve
