  2. FS98 Felixstowe Large America Flying Boat 1917

    FS98 Felixstowe Large America Flying Boat 1917. The Felixstowe F2A was the English built version of the Curtiss H-16 "Large America" flying boat, introduced in 1917 and which represented the final step in the evolution of the Curtiss Model H flying boat design. With longer-span than the Felixstowe F2, and the improved, reinforced hull by Lt. Cmd. Cyril Porte, the F2A's were powered by 350 Hp Rolls Royce Eagle VIII engines, achieving a top speed of 92 mph at sea level. 100 F2A units were built at the Naval Air Station in Felixstowe. They were armed with upto seven Lewis MGA's, and could carry 2x230 lb depth charges or 4x100 lb bombs. The unit depicted in this release is Unit No.4081 based at RNAS Felixstowe.     FS98 Curtiss H.16 Large America Flying Boat 1917. The Curtiss H-16 "Large America" flying boat was introduced in 1917 and represented the final step in the evolution of the Curtiss Model H flying boat design. With longer-span than the H-12, and improved, reinforced hull by Lt. Cmd. Cyril Porte, the H-16's were powered by 400 hp Liberty 12A engines, achieving a top speed of 95 mph at sea level. The Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company in Hammondsport, and the Naval Aircraft Factory in Philadelphia built a total of 334 H16 units. They were armed with up to seven Lewis MGA's, and could carry 2x230 lb depth charges or 4x100 lb bombs. The unit depicted in this release is Unit K29 based at RNAS Killinholme.     FS98 Caudron R-11 Heavy Fighter / Bomber. French 3-seat twin-engined reconnaissance bomber and heavy fighter escort produced by Caudron Freres in 1917. It was powered by two 220 hp Hispano Suiza 8Bda engines, with a top speed of 120 mph. Fast and easy to handle, it flew circles around the bombers to protect them. It was the last French production AC of WW1, and was armed with five MGA's and a bomb payload of 265 lb. Contains custom panel for mainly default gauges. By Stephan Scholz.

Beachcraft C-12 Huron collection includes 5 different versions and 5 different panels: C-12E (Kingair 200) of the US Air Force, C-12T (Kingair 200) of the US Army, C-12W (Super Kingair 350) of the US Marines Courp, C-12J (Beech 1900) of the USAF and a C-12J (Beech 1900D) of the Department of Defence. Features: moving parts and landing lights. Used original aircraft models by Chris Lampard (King Air) and Barry Blaisdell (Beech 1900), textures and new improved flight characteristics based on the original TCDS by Andre Lederer. Further included a collection of 5 panels based on the Super King Air 350 & C1900 panel by Bill Walch with improved sight (larger front windows) and different steps of modernization up the newst full glass cockpit. New features: free real.crt gauges, fuel status gauge, ACS-GPS, weather radar, moving map and other useful things!     FS98 Baade 152-V20. This is a modernized revision of the legendary first jet-powered passenger aircraft built in Germany - the Junkers Baade 152. I call this fictional new version the V20 and it is powered by modern Rolls-Royce Allison AE 3007A (known from the ERJ-145 and Legacy 600) wich have exactly the same size like the original Pirna 014 engines but 30% more thrust. Included are two paints: the Brazillian PachAir VA and the German Interflight VA. Further Included: a modernized panel / glass cockpit with (freeware) realCRT displays, ACS-GPS, and other good fuctions.     FS98 Dornier S-Ray 007 Flying Speedboat 2007 two-seat amphibious flying speedboat by Dornier Seawings, based on their 1912 'Libelle', built from reinforced plastics with carbon fibre reinforcements, equipped with retractable landing gear. It is powered by a 100 hp Rotax 912S engine mounted on the parasol wing, and has a top speed of 143 mph (124 kt). Water and land touchdown versions are provided. The latter has the retractable landing-gear, and the former has underwater sponson and keel portions disappearing below 46 mph (40 kt).
