  3. X-Plane 11 English Electric / BAC Canberra B(I).8 1.0

X-Plane 11 English Electric / BAC Canberra B(I).8 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 BAC Canberra, converted for X-Plane 11. The English Electric Canberra is a British first-generation jet-powered medium bomber that was manufactured during the 1950s. In June 2006, the RAF retired the last of its Canberras, 57 years after its first flight. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel. Custom instruments by Ho-Hun, plus new panel and sound files by Dataroots. Thank you to Jacques Brault for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).

  5. X-Plane 11 Armstrong-Whitworth AW660 Argosy 1.0

X-Plane 11 Armstrong-Whitworth AW660 Argosy 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 Argosy, converted for X-Plane 11. The Armstrong Whitworth Argosy was a British post-war military transport/cargo aircraft and was the last aircraft produced by Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft. The Argosy was used by the Royal Air Force for its capability to accommodate 69 troops, or 48 stretcher cases or 29,000 lb (13 tonnes) of freight. This meant it could carry military equipment such as the Saracen or Ferret armoured cars, or artillery such as the 105 mm howitzer or Wombat. The back doors in the X-Plane model operate using the door handle (speedbrake). Thanks to Dataroots for the sound files and also to Ho-Hun for his custom instruments. Thank you to Jacques Brault for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).

  7. X-Plane 11 Douglas C-124 Globemaster II 1.0

X-Plane 11 Douglas C-124 Globemaster II 1.0. This is the Douglas C-124 Globemaster II (updated for X-Plane 11), originally built for X-Plane by Pedro van Leeuwen (X-Plane 5) and previously updated by David Austin. The Douglas C-124 Globemaster II, nicknamed "Old Shaky", was an American heavy-lift cargo aircraft built by the Douglas Aircraft Company in Long Beach, California. The C-124 was the primary heavy-lift transport for United States Air Force Military Air Transport Service (MATS) during the 1950s and early 1960s, until the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter entered service. It served in MATS-gained, later Military Airlift Command (MAC)-gained, units of the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard until 1974. Minor adjustments were made to the prop/engine reduction ratio, new GPS added to the 2D panel because it's 2017. Thank you to both Pedro van Leeuwen and to David Austin for creating/updating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).

The Douglas C133 Cargomaster was a large turboprop cargo aircraft built between 1956 and 1961 by the Douglas Aircraft Company for use with the United States Air Force. The C-133 was the USAF's only production turboprop-powered strategic airlifter, entering service shortly after the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, which was known as a tactical airlifter. It provided airlift services in a wide range of applications, being replaced by the C-5 Galaxy in the early 1970s. Thank you to Robert Pearson for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. 10. X-Plane 11 Canadair CL-28 Argus 1.0.1

X-Plane 11 Canadair CL-28 Argus 1.0.1. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 Canadair CL-28 Argus, converted for X-Plane 11. Built by Canadair, the military-designated CP-107 Argus was a maritime patrol aircraft flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Armed Forces from 1957 until 1982. The design was derived from the Bristol Britannia, with a dash of North American materials; wings, tail surfaces and landing gear were Britannia, but the rest was from North America. The fuselage was redesigned as unpressurised and the turboprops were swapped for Wright R3350 piston engines which gave better fuel consumption necessary for long low altitude patrol capability. Bomb bays were designed into the fuselage as well. This X-Plane model has a 2D instrument panel. Sounds created by Dataroots. Thank you to Jacques Brault for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. 11. X-Plane 11 Canadair CL-30/CT-133 Silver Star 1.0.1

X-Plane 11 Canadair CL-30/CT-133 Silver Star 1.0.1. This is Jacques Brault's Lockheed/Canadair CT-133 Silver Star, converted for X-Plane 11. Originally built by Lockheed as the T-33 Shooting Star jet trainer during the late 1940s to late 1950s, the Royal Canadian Air Force operated a version built under licence by Canadair as the CL-30 (Canadian military designation CT-133). One major difference between the US and Canadian aircraft was the engine selection; the US aircraft used Allison J33 power, and the Canadian aircraft used Roll-Royce Nene 10 propulsion. The paint scheme depicted on this model is of a Canadian-built aircraft in RCAF colors. This X-Plane model has a 2D instrument panel. Sounds created by Dataroots. Thank you to Jacques for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).
