    FSX Amiot 143. The Amiot 143 went into service in 1933. It served up to WW2 even though totally obsolete. It had unusual looks and the copilot sat underneath the pilot in the gondola. This is a native FSX Acceleration project. It has the usual animations, reflective glass and .dds textures. The VC has animated flight controls. There is a minimal 2D panel.   3. FSX 1936 Stearman Hammond Y-1s

    FSX 1936 Stearman Hammond Y-1s by Rarewings.com: Designed with FSDS3.5.1 and FSDSTweak. It has full working virtual cockpit with back-lite gauges. Limited 2D panel, custom sounds. The plane has reflective glass and metal textures. This install package comes with three paint textures. Model Y designed by Dean B. Hammond for Bureau of Air Commerce safe airplane competition in 1934. Declared winner of contest in Nov, and Bureau contracted to purchase 25 aircraft at $3,190 each. Original design goal was for an airplane cost of $700--they cost $7150 later! First airplane not acceptable to the Bureau, and Lloyd Stearman was asked to re-engineer plane to improve performance and general workmanship. Resulting aircraft, Model Y, delivered April 1936.     FSX Dewoitine D.338 complete package. This is an FSX SP2 version of the Dewoitine D.338, slightly modified from the previous one (FS2004/FSX) to be fully compatible with FSX SP2 Acceleration Pack. The Dewoitine D338 was the legendary French liner used during the thirties, mainly by Air France on the intercontinental lines. The model in this package represents an aircraft used by Air France in 1938 on Far East lines (from Paris to Singapore, Bangkok, Saigon...), with a typical 12 seat lay-out. Features full moving parts and animations (control surfaces, gears, door...) plus a custom panel made from a real picture and a "passenger point of view" virtual cockpit.     FSX Douglas O-46. The Douglas O46 was the last of a long line of Douglas Obsevation aircraft designed for the USAAC. It first entered service in 1937. This is an FSX Acceleration native model.     FSX Dornier Do-X. The Dornier Do X was the largest, heaviest and most powerful flying boat in the world when it was produced by the Dornier company in 1929. The aircraft was conceived by Dr. Claudius Dornier and took seven years to design and another two years to build. In the design process, a one-to-one wooden mock-up, the first in aviation history, was built. This is the Gmax Dornier DO-X base package.   15. FSX American Embassy UC-43

    FSX American Embassy UC-43. This is SimTech's Beech Model 17 modified for Flight Simulator X. The Beech 17 is one of the most distinctive aircraft of its time. The military version was the UC-43 Traveler, a light transport biplane with negative or backward staggered wings. In June 1939 Beech delivered three examples of its popular commercial Model 17 Staggerwing aircraft for evaluation under the designation of YC-43. These were later assigned to the U.S. air attaches at the American Embassies in London and Paris. Designed in a royal blue and yellow paint scheme this aircraft has a 2D and 3D panel for FSX with working main and cargo doors with cowl panel animation operating.   18. FSX RO-41 Early Military Trainer

    FSX RO-41 Early Military Trainer. The I.M.A.M, Romeo RO-41 was a Royal Italian Air Force single and dual seater military trainer in service from 1934 to early 40's. The RO-41 was similar to the Boeing Stearman. The throttle movement was opposite (throttle back = full thrust). The propeller rotates opposite as usual nowadays. It is modeled here as the spoked wheel single seater version used in Capua flying school, said to be much more manuevrable than the dual seater. This model features reflective skin and full animations. The panel background has been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found on the net and some old black and white photos from the historical archive. Some gauges are default gauges, the others have been created by the authors. It is painted for the Escadrille GR 11/33 Armee de l'Air circa 1937. The Kaydet was a conventional biplane design with large, fixed tailwheel, rugged undercarriage, and accommodation for the student and instructor in open cockpits in tandem. The radial engine was usually uncowled, although some Stearman operators choose to cowl the engine. This aircraft is painted in U.S. Army colors.
