  1. I recall landing at this airport many years ago whilst in holiday. We took off from Vegas in 80 degrees and landed at Grand Canyon airport where there was snow on the ground and a roaring log fire going. Surreal. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  2. I should say that the place to download it is right here at Flightsim.com. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  3. Hi all, This one is probably only of interest to pilots from the southeast of the UK but today I have released a handcrafted desgner shopping outlet which is a good landmark in the Ashford area of Kent as it has white tented roofs in a là rge, stretched horseshoe shape. It replaces the flat Bing image which exists in the sim. I have done this one as it is not likely to be included in the UK update which is coming soon from Asobo. Enjoy Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  4. I think if you want the Neo to work anywhere close to properly you need to get the Flybywire mod for it. https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. I mostly fly the Longitude and with this aircraft the pushback tug misses the nosewheel 9 times out of 10 and trundles off down to the right. If I wait it will suddenly jump into position and start the pushback. It is indeed a bug, but not a game changer at this point in time as there are other more important bugs to sort out. Hopefully a third party developer will release a better tug system. It would be nice to see the tugs wheels moving too which is another minor immersion spoiler IMHO. regards Stinger
  6. Beautiful screenshots there Tim ! Mallorca has been kinda ruined for me at the moment with too much water climbing the cliffs so it is probably better to arrive there when it is getting dark. Hopefully Asobo will sort this out soon. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  7. A trip around the Italian lakes for me today. Starting at Lake Lugano in Switzerland and crossing through the mountains to beautiful Lake Como. A place I holidayed at a couple of years back. No sign of George Clooney in his garden adjacent to Lake Como though. [emoji4] MSFS represents it all extremely well. I like the different "feel" that you get in the various countries, i think Blackshark have done a great job with house types etc. This was something that was lacking in previous sims . Every country felt the same before now. All the best Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  8. Glad you got it sorted and thanks for following up with your solution as this may helo others including me at some point when my 500gb ssd gets full up with addons. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. I use it as my sole sim now. I just can't go back despite a few frustrations (most are down to me or my home cockpit setup and not the sim). I use four monitors, 2 for external view and one each for the PFD and MFD. I have it running better than any of my previous sims with better frame rates at a higger resolution, even with the four monitors. You are not alone in having a frustrating start though, although there are answers to most problems on the various forums. It does require a bit of patience but once sorted it is a joy to fly with. 10. My flight today was from Headcorn(UK) to Woodbridge MOD base in Suffolk (UK). Woodbridge is the site of the UK's most famous UFO sighting back in the '80s. (The Rendlesham Incident) .It was an RAF airbase that had americans based there during the cold war and it was them that saw the UFO, although there was no sign of any when I landed [emoji4]. The runway is now out of use to aircraft other than the MOD and has a big yellow X as a warning to anyone attempting to land. I ignored that of course [emoji16] I used live weather and the C172 for my flight and soon wished I had gone IFR as the weather was terrible, but I managed to just about stay in sight of the ground. Happy flying Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  11. The author has kindly assisted me in manually changing things to get around the bug and I now have the program functioning as it should. Thanks for the replies guys. This program looks very useful on first look. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  12. The author has since confirmed that this is a bug that new users see. [emoji849] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. I must be either dumb or unlucky. Dont answer that ! After unzipping i set up the options then clicked OK. At this point i get an error that the program is unable to find C:\Program Data\MSFSAddonsLinker\Data\Tags.bin. When i looked for that file, although the MSFSAddonsLinker folder is there the Data folder which should be inside it is not. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Ok, sorted it with a different unzipping program. Thanks Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. Unfortunately not. I get " windows found that this file is potentially harmful. To help protect your computer, windows has blocked access to this file" There is a link to "how does this help my computer" or "ok". If i click on the first link it just takes me to the windows support home page. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. I downloaded this one but windows is blocking the extraction of the exe file from the zip. How did you get around this please? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. Today I flew from Gatwick to Palma de Mallorca. A flight of around 2 hrs 10 mins. I usually fly with live weather and real world traffic on (what is real world at the moment !), but today for a change i thought that I would switch to online players to see who else was about. As I loaded up the flight it showed the real weather correctly, heavy cloud with rain. After switching to online players and then starting the flight the weather on the ground at Gatwick was clear skies and 29.92mb? I have never had a problem with real weather before but I had heard of others having issues so perhaps it has something to do with when one flies with online players. Anyhow, it was a nice flight but I was suprised to see only 3 other pilots on the 2 hr route. A quiet day in Europe. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  18. I saw it mentioned in a post, an app to set up your community folder files quickly before a flight. Trouble is I can't find the post again. [emoji849] Anyone use it or can remind me where to find it? Thanks Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. I must have been lucky. I have had two each of yokes and throttle quadrants over the last 10 years or so. My current quadrant is about four years old and is rock solid. I can't complain for the price. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. Nice. I watched a guy on Youtube fliying the beta in VR and it looked very good. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. Plainsman in Plainville !! [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. Today I tried the flight that BorisMarkus suggested from Dubrovnik (Croatia) to Tivat (Montenegro ). I have thank him as it was stunning. Tivat looks like an inviting holiday destination. Added bonus of payware airports available for each end. I did it in the C172 at 800 feet and MSFS looked beautiful. Thanks BorisMarkus and Asobo ! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  23. Your specs are above the minimum so it should at least run. What resolution are you trying to run it at? Also have you tried to run it in offline mode in case it is your internet connection that is causing the lag. ? Worth checking if you don't have the cash to splash out. If you are on a limited budget i would go for more ram and a better graphics card first. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks, i'll do that. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
