  1. Hi all, Just a heads up on my latest release for UK scenery. Bognor Regis pier in Sussex, England. Available in the file library here at Flightsim.com as soon as the file upload has passed through the verification . Enjoy Stinger
  2. Cool. Well done Tim. Just what I was after [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. Hi all, Is there a way of downloading the vfr map write-ups for the bush trips.? I'd like to follow the route with the information but using my own choice of aircraft and weather. Cheers Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. I think I may have smartened it up a bit. A lot of the images I found on the net showed it in a poor state. I don't live nearby so everything was done from research. I hope it brings back a few memories. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Hi all, Just a heads up on another pier I have modelled for the UK. https://flightsim.to/file/16017/walton-on-the-naze-pier-essex-uk-handcrafted-for-msfs Enjoy Stinger
  6. I was late to the party. 2005. I had been simming since the original FS version though. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. Hi all, I have uploaded another UK pier today as part of a series of piers that I am modelling. This time it is the turn of Clevedon Pier. It should be available from the file library here at Flightsin.com once the file has gone through the vetting procedure. Enjoy Stinger
  8. Are you seeing the handbrake physically release in the VC? If not it may be a double control assignment messing things up. Just my thoughts... Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. Do you live in a photogrammetry area? Those monoliths look like photogrammetry trees to me. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. For me it's the current immersion killers. 1. Sort out the pushback tug (Get the wheels to turn and the tug-to-aircraft connection sorted) 2. Generic Airlines 3. Water that climbs cliffs. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  11. Hi guys, I have today uploaded my next pier for your delectation. It should be available right here in the file library at Flightsim.com in the next few hours. Enjoy Stinger Now back to a bit of flying......[emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. Do you have London Orbx scenery installed.? If so there is an updated version throuh Orbx Central to cater for the Asobo London update. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  13. Yes, it is in the flightsim.com file library. Do a search for "pier" in the msfs scenery section and you should see all of my piers. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. The only way to check is to go through your control assignments , but as I mentioned earlier if you unplug all but your keyboard and mouse then fire up msfs, if the problem is cured then you need to go through your assignments one by one to see if anything is assigned to one of your joystick buttons that you're not expecting to be there. If the problem persists with just keyboard and mouse then i suspect the issue is elsewhere. Out of interest, what joystick or other peripherals do you use as there has been issues with honeycomb and others.? Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. Hi Andrew, Sorry to hear your PC blew up. Assuming when you fired up the old pc you emptied your community folder before updating the sim. Emptied the rolling cache etc. All i can suggest are the usual things. Check all in game settings including control assignments (if these get doubled up during the update it could cause what you are suffering from). It may be worth unplugging your peripherals and firing up the sim with just the keyboard and mouse, this should rule out any double assignments causing the problem. Check the graphics settings which some people are reporting changed during the recent updates. Try logging out of the Windows store and of course ensure all is up to date in there first. Log out, reboot, then log back in again. Run the sim with no addons active just to prove it is not an addon causing the low fps. Best of luck Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  16. It probably depends on your previous flightsim experience. If the OP is a newbie to the genre it may be more useful. I bought it too but like most new things I buy i find that online tutorials on YT better for learning about it. Some people prefer to digest by reading which is why I suggested it. It has been updated along the way and although I haven't revisited it, it is probably more complete now. No offence taken ! [emoji5] Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  17. Hi David, There is a payware manual available too that you may find useful. https://store.flightsim.com/product/sofly-a-guide-to-flight-simulator-msfs-2020/ All the best Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  18. In FSX and the previous sims it was all about IFR for me, as the scenery graphics were not really there for realistic VFR flying imo, other than in a few parts of the world where addon scenery raised the bar enough for it to be acceptable. Fly outside these areas and the scenery looked too bland to make it worthwhile for VFR flight. All change in MSFS with it's worldwide scenery. Now I am largely flying around in VFR mode enjoying the view. I stick with the c172 for VFR and when I do want to do a longer IFR flight I use the Longitude. I have a complex home cockpit based upon an Embraer Phenom 300 and so far I have only set it up for use with these two aircraft although in time I will probably add profiles for others. Despite a few niggles MSFS has truly rekindled my love of flight simulation and we have so much to look forward to with it in the future. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  19. I doubt a fresh install would help, although it may, it would be my last option. A few things to try before you resort to re-installing..... Check other areas, is it just poorly optimised Paris which some are suggesting?. Try it without photogrammetry if you have it switched on. Check all in game settings in case something changed during the latest updates. Update graphics drivers. Check to see if CPU or GPU is bottlenecking. Check temps, especially as you are overclocked. Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  20. Stunning, really stunning. I really enjoyed that. [emoji108] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. My point is that people are having problems, whichever sim they use. It is the nature of forums that they attract posts from people asking for solutions. The difference is that there are 2 million currently flying msfs and I suspect a lot less still flying each of the outdated sims. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. More random quotes... Wave effect not working.... Live weather not downloading.... ATC addressing aircraft problem.... Secondary tower frequencies not in action... Oh, wait a minute, i was reading the FS9 forum [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  23. More random quotes... Fast solution to greyed out ATC... Uncontrollable wind at ground level.... Instrument panel too large.... Lost account and need to re-load.... ATC sending me off course. Oh, wait a minute, this was from the P3d forum [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  24. Superb. Thank you for sharing. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  25. Seems like they are down. If i click on my user avatar icon in the sim , where you can choose which server to use, there are no servers shown at all to connect to. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
