  1. Hi all, Just to let you know that I have been busy hand crafting a few seaside piers for MSFS. So far I have done piers on the south coast including Hastings,Eastbourne,Worthing and Deal. I am intending to do more too so watch this space. All available right here on Flightsim.com Stinger
  2. Might be worth checking that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  3. Mmmm, got me there then. Strange that some work and others don't. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. And I assume that you remembered to change the xml version to 1.1 after export?. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. One thing i keep forgetting to do is selecting all objects before exporting. It wont work unless uou do. Also make sure all of your textures are the correct size format. Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. Someone else has already done it. Just google "Blackpool for MSFS" and you should find it. I do intend to release others though so keep a eye out. Stinger
  7. At last, a constructive post that may help others. Many others with the problems you have experienced would have been on here complaining that MSFS is rubbish and announced that they were going back to FS9. It took me years to get FSX to how I wanted it but perservering with sorting out the FSX ctd's and other issues (oom for one) I learn't a lot about the sim along the way. Why is everyone so impatient ! Happy days Steve Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  8. I didn't think that profiles are working yet in fsuipc7 beta? You can save them to a profile but they don't automatically load when you choose an aircraft in msfs yet as they did in previous sims. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. Brilliant news Steve. Hopefully the solution that Matt found, and this thread, can help others too. [emoji106] Hopefully Asobo will pick up on this too and sort it out in an update. Two programs from the same company (MS) shouldn't be clashing like this. We all just want to be flying instead of dealing with issues like this. Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Kevin, I have modelled Hastings pier and intend to do others too. Perhaps we could collaborate so that we don't overlap? Keith Hackett
  11. The 2 out of 30 planes showing is a known issue and the fix is listed on the microsoft MSFS website "Installing the base sim using a different installation folder than the default folder will only download the mandatory content. To install the non-mandatory content, please do the following: Step 1: Go to Profile > Content Manager Step 2: Select the content you want to see in the sim Step 3: Download and install the content you selected Step 3: Reboot your computerStep 4: Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator" Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  12. Gutted for you Steve. I am sure that you would have tried this as you seem to have tried most things, but have you tried booting up MSFS without any controllers, just keyboard and mouse? Just a thought Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  13. Is it possible to get in close with an external view to see if the trim tabs are in a unexpected position . ? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Go to Controls and do a search for Trim under assigned controls in case you have somehow ended up with a double assignment somewhere. You may be adjusting what you think is assigned to trim but if there is an assignment conflict this could be causing your problem. Apologies if you have already tried this. 15. Sadly this fix only works for areas of the world that have photogrammetry. Here in the uk that is only two cities that don't include London so all of our boats in marinas etc are under water with no fix currently available. Same in the south of France and a lot of other countries too. It is a bit of an immersion killer so I am hoping that Blackshark will be able to do something on this at some point. 16. I guess if you cannot see them to download in either the Content Manager or the Marketplace then it's either a re- install job or a ticket to Asobo, or both. Appently this bug comes about if you have installed the sim in a different path to default, so if you re-install, and are happy with the default install location then maybe that is a better option. The other option is to wait until the next update which is due in a couple of days and hope that sorts things out for you Good luck Stinger Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  17. I found this on the Microsoft Flight Simulator known issues page...... 18. Much better they delay than wind everyone up again. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. The only part of the avionics that you can detach at present are the screens of the G1000 etc. You do this by clicking on the screen whilst holding down the right hand alt key (altgr) of your keyboard. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  20. Sorry it didn't work out for you guys. In balance there are plenty of folks , including me, that have not had any problems that would make me go back to FSX/P3d. Sure there are plenty of wish list things that i would like to see that may or may not be added at some stage but in the meantime I am happily flying the sim. Hell, there were wish list things I wanted in FSX 10 years after it was released. There are plenty of flight videos on youtube of others doing the same. 21. I think a lot of complaints could have been avoided with a proper manual. Initial complaints, for example, "why cant we detach instruments screens". We eventually, through trial and error, find out you can. Another....."why cant i land the aircraft like i could in FSX", turns out the flight model is much more lifelike so takes some practice. There are of course legitimate gripes like some users CTD's and initial download problems but a lot of issues could have been answered faster with an in depth manual. We were all basically thrown in the deep end, but now we are starting to swim and enjoy the water. The problem is we were all expecting an expansion of the existing sims but we got a whole new one, one that takes a while to get comfortable with. What I do think is a shame is that the percieved (or in some cases real) issues have turned away long time simmers, at least for the time being. Regards Stinger Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  22. Great detective work ! Thanks for sharing as it may help others. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
