  1. Its a lovely collection of flights to form an adventure. Thank you for posting. However adding a description to each flight wouldn't have gone amiss. Moreover, the linked EMPIRE20.ZIP is dead. I had to download it from another site outside flightsim.com linked here. Thank you once more and best wishes.
  2. Another beautiful photo essay Jan. Well done. If you lose the top wing for any reason (as in trying to go below a low bridge etc.) you can say you have upgraded your plane to an Arado 196. Just a thought.
  3. Doesn't speak much of the career you have ahead! I too love the way the bent propeller is modelled. Best wishes.
  4. Awesome set of shots Jan. She's a very special aircraft, too. Way to go.
  5. I add my concurring voice. Awesome.
  6. lovely set, you have ditched the teardrop canopy here as well as with the mustangs too. Great work,
  7. Thank you Bob, yes to my dismay as well the Cats movie is not about Catalinas :p However, as far as aviation movies are concerned, the trailers for the new Top Gun (Maverick) look very promising. Let's see what that looks like when its released. Thank you for your kind words Larry. Best wishes.
  8. That F-16B looks good. Great screenie Rick. Best wishes. Khalid
  9. Rick, Gérard, Jan and John: Thank you gents for your kindness and approval. To whomever moderates this: Many thanks for correcting my typo in the title. It cannot be done by the user once its posted. Best wishes to everyone. Khalid
  10. A rare bird Adam. The screenshot is equally nice, too. Best wishes.
  11. A true beauty. Hats off to Jan.
  12. Thank you Jan for your kindness. It's the stock ORBX Global Base and Global Vector + the Open LCs, etc. I bought it when they had a 45% discount.
  13. Glad you like, thank you for your compliment. I fully agree about the JustFlight C-46 it is one payware model that is worth every cent paid.
  14. Same old, same old. Stuck on these lovelies. (Click on images for full size) Flew my addictive Catalina around places in Alaska, at random. Another favourite of mine (the C-46 by JustFlight) braving Alaska in December. Flying for Air Transport Command VA in North Africa finds me overhead Gibraltar in this screenshot of the awesome freeware C-47, by Manfred Jahn. And another of Manfred Jahn's Dakotas in the colours of Royal Aircraft Establishment is overhead its home base at Farnborough. Hope you guys like. Best wishes. Khalid
  15. Very graceful airplane Darren. Beautiful shits. Best wishes.
  16. Real nice David. You're going a tad retro with a DC-6, that's promising :p. Keep 'em rolling. Best wishes.
  17. Well there is a bigger airport called Reina Sofía at the southern tip of the island, much closer to sea level. It is the one used for international flights, Tenerife North is mostly for local flights between the islands.
  18. Very unusual, and you did try to land it on the water towards the end of your test flight
  19. That's one handsome flying fortress, John. Duxford, where you're flying from, houses one of the finest aviation museums in the world, The IWM Duxford has more than 200 historical models, nick named the Duxford collection. Very rare models, including one of the two surviving TSR-2s. Well done. Khalid
  20. Beautiful set of screen shots, Darryl, and a very long CRJ indeed. Bravo.
  21. I mean what can I say, Jan Kees is in a class of his own!
  22. Interesting flight David, you have come very close to near where I am in GMML, just before you headed west to Tenerife. You landed in Tenerife north, or Los Rodeos, the scene of the tragic Tenerife air disaster, the worst crash in aviation history (March 1977 when a KLM 747 on its take off run collided with a Pan Am 747 taxiing on a backtrack on the runway to go to the hold position, with total fatalities of 583 souls). I think cruising at 5,000 ft., while giving you a good view of the scenery, caused the Lear to consume a lot more fuel than usual. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed this post a lot. Khalid
