  1. Thank you Jankees, I already have this wonderful bird. The pictures you publish are awesome. Best wishes. Khalid
  2. Ouch sorry didn't see that message till now, Bob, an original, I laughed so much. That message of yours rock, too!
  3. Update, downloaded the Manfred Jahn's C-47 (Version 3 Beta) and more than 100 repaints that I picked out of 300 or so available, including ALL of Jankees' work (60+). I am not exaggerating if I say this is one of the best freeware aircraft that I ever got. Truly amazing. Thanks for suggesting it.
  4. David, Rick, Bob, Larry, Colin and Gérard thank you all for your kind words. Rick thank you for the video link. I saw that on Channel 4 at the time. It's an awesome documentary. Colin, I share your regrets, if only I owned a camera or had a camera at hand at certain occasions in the past, I would have had unique pictures of different planes. Gérard I am thankful the Vulcan never dropped one of these in anger.
  5. Thanks for the kind words Jan, and Mr. Zippy you are actually looking at the latest stealth technology: the chameleon texture, or is that related to the mating habits of this bird?.
  6. You're an artist Aharon, your shots are amazing and I love the retro crinkle cut frames, amazing effect to suggest age of this early model with the peculiar flower shaped exhaust nozzles, the amount of smoke and the musical shrill of pure turbojet engines. The 707 is surely a beauty, I knew some of the pilots that flew it and they fondly call it "the school" because of how dramatically it enhances their airmanship and knowledge of handling big sophisticated system-based jets.
  7. That video is truly amazing. Thank you for sharing. I bet Jan -and others- would love to watch it.
  8. Click for larger images. I bought this recently from Just Flight and took it out for a couple of spins. Got the lightning captured just for David :) Enjoy and best wishes. Khalid
  9. Thank you Jan, I'm definitely over the edge. I am going for this. What a lovely set of favourites, too. Best wishes. Khalid To Mr. Zippy below, may I suggest we say: Jan's repaints rock!
  10. An excellent photo essay of your flight Jan. I enjoyed going through every image. I like the Manfred Jahn DC-3 and am very tempted to download it, if not for anything but the repaints that JKB has done for it. I already have the Just Flight DC-3 Legends of flight package including all expansions. Best wishes. Khalid
  11. That's the Starfighter of airliners. With 25 accidents on file, it isn't popular as a passenger carrying aircraft.
  12. Don't see many rotorcraft on here. Great series of shots Bill. Thanks for sharing. Khalid
  13. Charlie my good friend: you knocked the nail on the head! Cheers  :pilot:
  14. When I read the title I thought I'd see the P-3 Orion. Great pictures of your repaints. Best wishes. Khalid
  15. Great series of shots. Great annotation too. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing. Khalid
  16. Yes great movie, both the old and new ones. Very nice repaint.
  17. Trying to outrun a UFO using a Beech 1900? that a feat to reckon with, David. Great series of shots, you are getting close to the west coast, overflying the Yosemite national park, Ansel Adams' favourite shooting location. Good Job. Khalid
  18. She's lovely and graceful, Rick. Looks like a 777 with a 3rd engine. Great shot. Khalid
  19. Gérard: Guinness is a dark Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James's Gate, Dublin, Ireland, in 1759. It is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in over 120. Sales in 2011 amounted to 850 million litres. There is a pub myth about how it was discovered and how it came to be so dark in colour: they say that in 1759 there was a fire at the Dublin dockyards, and there was a considerable load of barley stored there, it got toasted by the flames. Rather than throw it away, the Irish brewed it, and so came Guinness into existence! Seriously, you should try it once, make sure it is super cold before drinking. GPs in the UK used to prescribe it to elderly patients for better health. That's official. Well not really "prescribe" but rather recommend it, as part of a healthy diet. Jan, David, Jankees and Colin: Thank you for your kind words. I agree with Colin, if I didn't like one drink I couldn't have gone on a tour to the factory where it is made. One problem here, there is no drink that I don't like.... :pilot:
  20. I stumbled across this for the Default 737-800 Click for a larger image Super chilled too... Enjoy :pilot:  Khalid
  21. I love this aircraft, nice picture Larry. This is a descendant of the Electra.
  22. Hahah Rick I cannot open my mouth I landed a seaplane on land.
  23. looks scary Colin, knowing how inherently under-powered the Manchester is.
