FS2004 "Dee" P-47M-1-RE. Dee was a Republic P-47 M-1 Thunderbolt flown by the 61st FS, 56th FG serving with the 8th Air Force in England in April, 1945. The paint schemes of this unit's aircraft are thought by many to be the gaudiest used on the P47 in World War II. FS2004 "Butch II" P-47D

FS2004 "Butch II" P-47D. Butch II was the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt flown by William Bailey, commanding officer of the 352nd FS, 353rd FG serving with the 8th Air Force in England in April, 1944. When he received this new aircraft he decided to have it painted in this unique camo paint scheme since most of their missions had become ground attack and he wanted to minimize his visibility from above. This textures only repaint of Butch II is of the Alphasim P-47D using the paint kit by Dan Swart available with it. By Mike MacIntyre.

FS2004 Japanese Army Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude. The Claude was the world's first monoplane carrier fighter. It was a cantilever design with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit. The A5M performed well in wars against China and the USSR and was still the numerically most important Imperial Japanese Navy fighter in 1941. A total of 1094 were built. FS2004 RAF Hawker Tempest II. MW774 HF-X from 54 Squadron of the Royal Air Force in late 1945. This package includes a new model.The Tempest Mk II was probably the cleanest radial engined fighter of the Second World War. The Centaurus engine and Tempest airframe proved an excellent match and the Centaurus was generally regarded as superior to the Sabre, particularly in terms of reliability. The Tempest II, despite its slightly improved performance and better reliability, never saw combat. Tempest IIs produced during the war were intended for combat against the Japanese, but the Pacific War ended before they could be deployed. This is a FSDS V2 model for FS2004. It features 2D and virtual cockpit, opening cockpit canopy, moving pilot's head and many other animations as well as lights and automatic special effects. By David Hanvey and Paul Barry. FS2004 Special Effects For Gmax P-51D "Reno" Mustang (original design by Roger L. Dial; flight dynamics by Steve Small FSD; sounds by Mike Hambly). Effects include airshow style colored smoke, new start-up smoke, individual exhaust stack flames in four phases: orange start-up, soft blue at idle, more flame at cruise, even more at max power. Flame size and brightness controlled by XML gauge using throttle position. Also wingtip vortex controlled by XML gauge using "G" force. Runway tire marks with optional "chirp" sound. Despite brave efforts by the VMF-211 and all those fighting the ground battle, Wake Island was lost to the enemy.
