   FS2004 AerMacchi C.202 Folgore (Lightning) Expansion Pack 2. The C202 Folgore was a World War II fighter aircraft built by Macchi Aeronautica and operated by the Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force). Considered one of the most beautiful fighters to fly with wartime Axis forces, the C.202 was a development of the earlier C.200 Saetta, with a more powerful German Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and with an extremely streamlined fuselage. Undoubtedly the best wartime fighter to serve in large numbers with the Regia Aeronautica, the Folgore operated on all fronts in which Italy was involved. Attention, this is only an upgrade package, so you must have already installed the main package (C202_V01.ZIP) and the Expansion Pack 1 (C202_EP1.ZIP). Contains two new hi-res Gmax models (two different versions) featuring the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, prop pitch and leading edge flaps. Eight different liveries. VC only. Gmax models and skins by Manuele Villa, Huub Vink and Italianwings, flight dynamics by Manuele Villa and Kikko Zanaboni. It also works (tested) subject to some limitations within FSX. Z1014 first flight was on July 19th, 1940. Only twenty were built. None of them entered in service because Piaggio P108 was preferred. Z512 never flew and remained only as a project.     FS2004/FSX British FAA Vought Corsair I. Britain's Fleet Air Arm took delivery of ninety-five F4U-1s as Corsair Is and 510 F-4U-1As as Corsair IIs, under Lend-Lease arrangements. Initial deliveries of the Corsair I to the F.A.A. began on June 1, 1943, when No. 1830 Squadron formed at Quonset, and before the end of the year seven more F.A.A. squadrons were working up on Corsair Is and IIs. These underwent several modifications in British service, and sorne 16 inches was clipped from their wingtips to permit below-deck stowage on the smaller British carriers. Gmax model by A.F. Scrub.

    FS2004/FSX Curtiss P40 Tomahawk. The Curtiss P-40 was undoubtedly one of the most controversial fighters to serve in quantity during the Second World War. It was praised and abused, lauded and vilified, but the fact remains that, as the first American single-seat fighter to be manufactured on a mass-production basis, it bore much of the brunt of the air warfare over several battle fronts. Its performance was inferior to the performances of the majority of its antagonists, but this shortcoming was partly compensated for by its tractability and its sturdiness which enabled it to withstand a considerable amount of punishment. FIAT R.A.I050 R.C.58 Tifone (license DB 605A) twelve-cylinder vee engines buried in the fuselage and driving twin contra-rotating props in the wings by extension shafts.
