The package features both a completely reworked and enhanced VC and 2D panel with mostly French gauges as well as new smoke effect. FSX Update For The Sikorsky S-38
FSX Update For The Sikorsky S-38. This mega package is an FSX update
for the FS 2002/FS 2004 twin-engine-prop amphibious Sikorsky S38 by
George Diemer. It features all the textures, which are available on
the internet and which could be made usable in FSX. The package
features three entirely reworked and enhanced VCs for the different
models as well as a matching 2D panel. The US Army model and the
Carnauba were both originally FS 2002 models and totally uncompatible
with FSX, hence, quite a few of their texture bitmaps had to be newly
designed from scratch to be compatible with the newer models. In
addition, the packge features new smoke effect and cabin camera
views. Be sure not Original model and textures by George Diemer,
camera views by Erwin Welker and new VCs, 2D panel and smoke effect by
Michael Pook. (See also FSX_SIKORSKYS38_AIRFILE.ZIP)

FSX Ford Trimotor Update
FSX Ford Trimotor Update. This is the whole Ford Trimotor package, compiled and updated for FSX by David Grindele. The focus of this version is on an enhanced VC, because the ugly default VC design doesn't do it justice at all and doesn't contain all the gauges a Trimotor prop should have. So the new VC now both displays more gauges and a major improvement of the VC's appearance in general. However, the gauges added are there just for appearance and are non-functional, as the VC structure unfortunately is not set for a configuration of more functioning gauges. Also, all the textures have new thumbnails added, because the default ones don't really depict the colors of the paints in most cases. In addition, new smoke effect and camera views have been added as well. Original model by Microsoft, FSX update and texture compilation by David Grindele, new camera views by Erwin Welker and new VC design, new thumbnails as well as smoke effect by Michael Pook.
