FSX SAAB J-29B And F. The Saab J-29 was the first swept wing jet built by Sweden, first flying in 1948. Designed around the Ghost engine and central air intake, the resulting rotund fuselage instantly resulted in the name "Tunnan", Swedish for "barrel". Models A and B were fighters, the model C was a photo recon plane, and the final F introduced an afterburner, and new dogtooth wing leading edges. J-29's served with the Swedish and Austrian air forces, and also served with the UN during the Congo Conflict. Swedish J-29's ended their days as target towing planes, and as "enemy forces" trainers. FSX comments: gauges/VC: everything seems OK. Glass visible. All else seems OK. This is a great classic aircraft, FSX compatible and tested; thumbnails added by Danny Garnier.

FSX Irish Air Corps FR172H. Repaints for the FSX default Cessna 172 Skyhawk in the colors of Irish Air Corps (IAC). Five Reims FR172H Rockets (license built Cessna 172s) are in service 104 Squadron "Hawkeyes" (formerly known as the Army Co-Operation Squadron), part of No 1 Operations Wing, at Casement, Baldonnel (EIME). They are used for parachute training in addition to their main role as "top cover" escorts for vehicles transporting cash, explosives or prisoners. Serial numbers for these five FR172H are 203, 205, 206, 208 and 210. For those who enjoy multiplayer (MP) flying the author has included two different aircraft. The first, 206, is resplendant in Irish Air Corps 75th Anniversary colors (i.e. a logo on each door). The second, 210, is in standard colors. By Andy Ford.

The design of the Eurofighter Typhoon is optimised for air dominance performance with high instantaneous and sustained turn rates, and specific excess power. Special emphasis has been placed on low wing loading, high thrust to weight ratio, excellent all round vision and carefree handling. The use of stealth technology is incorporated throughout the aircraft's basic design.
