    FSX Hawk T1 RAF 4th FTS A repaint of David Brice and David Friswell's T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the BAE Hawk T.1A RAF Flying Training School. The Hawk has now been in service with No. 4 FTS for nearly thirty years and has been a landmark in RAF history. Today No. 4 FTS's training course is split between two reserve squadrons, No's 19 and 208. The model represents a Hawk T.1A from No. 4 FTS in the smart red, white and blue training colors utilized during the 1980's and early 90's before being replaced by a more overall gloss black from the mid 90's to date.     FSX Royal Air Force Red Arrows. A repaint of the David Brice and David Friswell T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the Royal Air Force's demonstration team The Red Arrows. The Red Arrows were officially formed at RAF Fairford on 1 March 1965, led by Flight Lieutenant Lee Jones, flying seven Folland Gnat aircraft. In 1966 the number of aircraft was increased to nine, and since then the classic 'Diamond Nine' formation has become the team's trademark. In 1979 the Red Arrows converted to the BAE Hawk T1's. By the end of the 2003 season the team had given 3750 displays in fifty-two countries. Original read me file included and original effects. Includes pictures and history of The Red Arrows Team.     FSX Have Blue 1001. The 'Have Blue' program was built in the legendary 'Building 82' where the A-12 and U-2 were built earlier. Early on November 16th 1976 'Have Blue' 1001 was loaded into a C-5A Galaxy and flown out of Burbank to the highly secret Test Facility near Groom Lake, called Area 51. On December 1st 1977, Skunkworks test pilot Bill Park climbed into the Have Blue prototype with the designation 'HB1001' and took it on its maiden flight out of Area 51. This is a modified version of Craig Richardson's F117 Nighthawk for Flight Simulator X, painted in the first Have Blue camo paint scheme. Includes pictures and history. This is a complete aircraft and new panel modified by Mark Rooks/RDG Aircraft.

    FSX Grumman AF-2S Guardian. The Grumman AF-2 Guardian was a single-engine, carrier-based, anti-submarine aircraft used by the US Navy during the Korean War. A prototype of the Guardian first flew on 18 December 1946, but the Guardian went through a lengthy development process with several different prototypes being built. The first production Guardian flew on 17 November 1949, and Guardians entered service with the US Navy on 18 October 1950. The Guardian was designed to be used in hunter/killer pairs. The "hunter", the AF-2W, had a four-man crew operating a ventral radar. The "killer", the AF-2S or AF-3S, had a two-man crew and could carry up to 4,000 lbs. of internal and 1,500 lbs. of external ordnance, typically sonobouys and depth charges. The Guardian had a 2,400 hp engine and a maximum speed of 317 mph. About 400 of all versions were built. Guardians flew combat missions from US Navy aircraft carriers in Korean waters from March 1951 through May 1953.The Guardian remained in service with the US Navy until 1955. By Marty Strong.

A repaint of Kirk Olsson's Lockheed Martin F-16 Viper, painted in a tiger-striped paint scheme belonging to the 140th Fighter Wing, 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. The aircraft has tiger stripes applied to the upper surfaces and represented the Colorado ANG as their official Tiger jet as the unit hosted the inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas in mid-August, 2001. The inaugural meet closely mirrors the NATO Tiger Meet and brings together military units that have large cats as their mascots. Includes pictures and history.   25. FSX Hellenic Air Force Mirage F.1CG

    FSX Hellenic Air Force Mirage F.1CG. On 16 June 1974 the contract for 40 Mirage F.1CG.s was signed and the deliveries were scheduled to last from 1977 until 1979. Because of the invasion of Cyprus by Turkey, in July 1974, the Mirages delivered on 5 August 1975. The Greek F.1CGs aircraft entered service with the 342 Mira, which at the time was still using the F-102A Delta Dart as an all-weather interceptor. The last Delta Daggers in HAF service would be retired in 1977 when all 40 F.1CGs were delivered. Unfortunately the Hellenic Air Force Staff did not buy any of the French AA missiles to equip the new fighters and so these had to be armed with US-supplied AIM-9Js instead. In 1984 the KETA (Center for Research and Aviation Technology) stared to develop the wiring for the two outboard underwing pylons, in order to make F.1Cgs able to carry four AAM instead of two. This happened with Dassault's help by 1985 and ever since the PA Mirage took four AIM-9P-2. After the arrival of more modern types in PA service, the Mirage E.1CG's started to become secondary in PA planning and air operations. In 2000 344 Mira disbanded and all its aircraft and personnel passed on to 342 Mira. After almost 28 years of service, on 30 June 2003 the remaining 24 F.1CG's were retired at Tanagra AB. In total, the PA logged no less but 160,000+ flying hours with its F.1CGs, which means 5500-6000 per airframe - and many of these - over 3500+ hours - in "live" interceptions over the Aegean Sea, under combat-similar conditions.
