  1. FSX Tactical Air Command F-15

    FSX Tactical Air Command F-15. A repaint of Nathan Fife's McDonnell Douglas F15 Strike Eagle. The first F-15s were delivered to TAC (Tactical Air Command) in "Air Superiority Blue" livery. This paint scheme is of TAC #1. After a short while it was determined that a two-tone gray camouflage was less visible in the gray skies over Europe. The F-15 was conceived and developed just like its nominal predecessor, the F-111, which was another development of the USAF Tactical Air Command (TAC). Designed without role compromise and created for its pilot above all. The F-15 Eagle has since matured and it was without doubt the world's foremost air superiority fighter, having destroyed scores of opponents, from Foxbats to F-4s, in aerial combat without ever sustaining a loss. This F-15 has a new afterburner effect and TAC #1 Air Superiority Blue textures. Package includes pictures and history of the actual aircraft. Modifications by Mark Rooks of RSDG.

    FSX USAF Thunderbirds F-4. A repaint of Kazunori Ito's McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. This aircraft is painted in the United States Air Force Flight Demonstration Team livery. The Thunderbirds came up with a new paint scheme in keeping with their streamlined image. An all white painted chassis with distinctive red and blue markings adorned the Thunderbirds aircraft for the first time in 1969 on the F-4 Phantom. Those topside markings, and a large dark blue Thunderbird symbol, was added to the belly of the Phantom. The F-4's large physical size and power did not come without a price. After 518 shows, the energy crisis of the early 1970s, ended the era of the Thunderbirds fuel hungry F-4 Phantom. This Phantom has new afterburner effects and a new panel. This aircraft is painted in Vietnam Era low resolution camo .The F-4 is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the post-World War II era, having been used in large numbers by the air forces of many western nations, where it gradually evolved in capability and mission diversity. The U.S. involvement in the war in Vietnam saw the F-4 utilized in an increasingly multi-role capacity, delivering bombs in huge multi-aircraft formations, shooting down North Vietnamese MiGs, and earning it the name "MiG Killer".     FSX VF-84 Jolly Rogers F4 Phantom. A repaint of Kazunori Ito's F-4 Phantom. This aircraft is painted in the livery of the United States Navy VF-84 squadron, better known as the Jolly Rogers. The squadron started its long association with the McDonnell F-4 Phantom II in June 1964. The Bones made a spectacular return to naval aircraft at that time, with the first F-4Bs of VF-84 displaying a waving Jolly Rogers over their tail surfaces. Flamboyant color schemes were not lacking on the US Navy at the time, but this one made a lasting impression. This F-4 has afterburner effects and a new panel.     FSX General Dynamics YF-16. A repaint of Kirk Olsson's F-16 Viper for Flight Simulator X. This aircraft is painted in the scheme of the first prototype of the YF-16. The first of the two YF-16 prototypes, designed by a General Dynamics team under Harry Hillaker, was rolled out in patriotic red-white-and-blue colors on 13 December 1973, only 21 months after award of the contract. Initial flight of the YF-16 was from Edwards Air Force Base on 20 January 1974, with General Dynamics test pilot Phil Oestricher at the controls.     FSX 100 Squadron Boneyard Hawk. A repaint of David Brice and David Friswell's T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the BAE Hawk T.1A RAF. No. 100 Squadron formed at Hingham in Norfolk on 23 February 1917. The squadron motto "Sarang tebuan jangan dijolok" is Malayan and translates as "Never stir up a hornets nest". All squadron Hawk aircraft are marked with the blue and gold checkers of the borough of Stamford either side of the fuselage roundel. These relate to a period in the 1950s and 60s when the Squadron was based at Wittering. The skull and crossbones emblem carried on the fin dates from 1917 when 100 Squadron was serving on the Western Front. This distinctive emblem has resulted in the Squadron becoming known unofficially as 'The Boneyard'. Includes pictures and history of the actual aircraft. Textures by Mark Rooks of RSDG.

    FSX RAF Black BAE Hawk FTS. A repaint of David Brice and David Friswell's T45 Goshawk / T1 Hawk. The paint scheme is the BAE Hawk T.1A of the RAF Flying Training School. The Hawk has now been in service with No. 4 FTS for nearly thirty years and has been a landmark in RAF history. Today No. 4 FTS's training course is split between two reserve squadrons, No. 19 and 208. The model represents a Hawk T.1A from No. 4 FTS in the current gloss black paint scheme used on all RAF training aircraft. Includes pictures and history of the actual aircraft.
