  1. Nice well rounded selection of aircraft. Well done.
  2. I also tried abilene.zip with no success, however when I searched abilene I found it right away, Not sure why the search sometimes works with or without the .zip. Could be that the search is for text fragments within the body each page, not the file?
  3. I've been using the "Search" selection within the "More" tab on top right of page. Works Great!!! Been finding more and more things. As an old Mamas & the Papas song used to say... "It's getting better every day..." Thanks for all the hard work on the new site format!
  4. Thanks Wim, I did also, but not in FlightSim.
  5. OK, then don't know what to tell you. Can only day this works for me.
  6. I search by: A) Clicking the "Popular Downloads" tab, then B) Clicking "Download Portal" or the more specific folder, then C) Putting my search word(s) in the Search box directly under the tabs at top. I hope this helps
  7. A line of legions in the grass, Wow!
  8. I've searched for both scenery libraries RWY12_1.ZIP and EZ_1.ZIP and can only find them referenced as required within other scenery downloads. Could someone see if they can locate and let me know where they are located? Thank you!
  9. Version 1.0.a

    28 downloads

This is the 3rd in a serious of repaints for countries that flew the North American T-28 in their military. In the early 1960's Congo received 10 T-28s. In the mid-1980's they were still listed as part of the active Air Force of the Democratic Republic of Congo (Ziare). You will need the FSX North American T-28D VT-5, vt-5-0915.zip. Original model by Tim Conway Updated by Mark Rooks Repaint by PhrogPhlyer Other aircraft in this series are: FSX North American T-28D Cuban Air Force ( T-28 Cuba AF.zip ) FSX North American T-28C VT-6 ( T28C VT6.zip ) More to come.
  10. I wanted to go into the GS/AS vs Mach lecture, but that would just be way to boring without more coffee. Sounds like the basis of a brief article to publish here at a later date?
  11. Just think how fast the return will be!
  12. I am amazed at the number of new members I see signing up each day. This must be in part due to all the hard work creating the new site format. I welcome all of them and want them to know that there are so many of us here who are willing to help them learn and grow as part of the FlightSim community. I can only guess at the number for countries they represent. Love of aviation knows no borders or boundaries.
  13. What are you trying to sort/search for? Easier to answer if know what you're trying to do. Thx.
  14. Thanks Adrian, just found in profile settings!
  15. An absolute MUST!!! Interestingly, we went through the same issues the VR goggles have, when starting to fly with night vision goggles in the '80's. We started with the full vision restricting goggle worn by tank crews. Then created "cutaways" by removing lower half of the frame so could see inside the cockpit, eventually going to just the NVG binocular tubes attached to the front of the flight helmet. Hmmm, wonder if can create cutaways with a cheap VR set?
  16. Its already here, just be sure to add .zip at the end of the file name.
  17. By clicking: A) "Discussions" tab, then B) Clicking "xxx Landing Page", then C) "Latest xxx Files" will be the right hand column. Hope this helped.
  18. I just delete and reload. Glad this area is now create, since I've been putting all of mine into one thread. Look forward to enjoying your pics!
  19. Great shot of an even greater aircraft!
  20. Picky, picky! lol I know I "read" flight... Expectation bias strikes again.
  21. Thanks Macro. Actually, grabbed hot sausages and coffee here next to the flight line. Friendly staff at 12N! This is part of the great scenery package.
  22. I only fly in FSX, but this model really has great visual detail. In FSX I'm still getting a feel for the many helos. Biggest problem is flying flying from any cockpit view. Without a good 45 deg wide view, nearly impossible to perceive drift. Getting better with practice. Slowly writing a review of handling characteristics for several FSX helos to upload as a tutorial/new helo flyer article. Just need to figure best video capture (easy is what I need).
  23. Great looking aircraft. Careful not to violate Vatican airspace. Well done.
  24. Click on Discussion tab at top of page, then select from drop-down list.
