  1. Yes it's showing that the selected speed is lower than the current speed and that the autothrottle is throttling back until the selected speed is reached.
  2. I've put a red box around the target speed indicators (top image) and the economy speed indicators (bottom image):
  3. The two pink lines indicate the FMS or managed mode target speed range, the pink triangle inbetween indicates the speed target. I googled "a320 pfd speed indications" and clicked on Primary Flight Display Indications - FlyByWire Simulations which has this to say about target airspeed: Target Airspeed This is displayed in either magenta or blue depending on whether managed or selected speed is commanded. It is a triangle coming off from the right side of the speedtape. If the target airspeed is the FMGC computed airspeed, it will be displayed as a magenta triangle. If it is selected from the FCU by the pilots, it will be blue. The target speed will be a magenta double bar when it is associated with the ECON speed range. If the target speed is off the scale, the value is displayed as a number above or below the scale.
  4. He's played a lot of FSX, and that's never been available on Xbox! Never mind, I agree that adjusting the realism settings would be the simplest solution - maybe to Easy instead of Hard?
  5. Switch POI's off altogether, switch on google maps on your cellphone and go hunting like a real man! Who am I kidding? If it's not Accessibility settings it *could* be a graphics anti-alias or some other graphics setting that's changed. Maybe kitty's had a stroll across your keyboard today?
  6. You could have the number 4 disc repaired at a game shop like this one: https://helps.game.co.uk/en/support/solutions/articles/80001036274-disc-repair
  7. I wouldn't bother, the MSFS SDK has changed so much by now that model converter x is virtually obsolete. You'd be better off downloading the AIG models and liveries and adding those to FS Traffic instead.
  8. Have you tried turning the rolling cache back on? It is used for much more than storing scenery files. The default size is 8gb which works fine on my system.
  9. Well said ViperPilot2 - fps is the bees knees in shooter games, but absolutely not in flight sim.
  10. If this is happening with a default aircraft and default scenery, try deleting your rolling cache file in: AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache Then re-launch the sim, which will create a new local cache file automatically.
  11. Welcome and Season's Greetings Jeffersxbox! You can find some excellent tutorial videos on Youtube for all aspects of MSFS, the guides by Squirrel are highly recommended for beginners: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbphwhPw2JuvwwsD-H3xoxmb4PUbCyZen
  12. If this freeze is happening in the same area with different aircraft, any add-on scenery you have for that area will be to blame. If I add Gatwick airport to my sim, freeware or payware, I get a sim freeze or CTD if I go anywhere near Gatwick after that.
  13. Ah, that's only available on the Xbox version. Xbox has a feature called instant resume.
  14. In the keyboard settings you can assign P to toggle Pause ON, and Ctrl+P to toggle Pause OFF.
  15. Read through the instructions on this web page and then click the download link in orange.
  16. The figures will turn red because you've exceeded the Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) for that aircraft. Weight and Balance are two separate issues, but they are closely linked in aircraft.
  17. 1. Are LEMAC and TEMAC useful when FWD and AFT limits are shown already? Leading Edge and Trailing Edge MAC are the FWD and AFT limits. 2. How come there are no LEFT and RIGHT limits as there are for FWD and AFT? Left or Right weight imbalance can be compensated for by rudder and/or aileron trim - that's what they there for. 3. Are CG limits usually posted in the pilot operating handbooks? Yes. 4. Are there two-seater planes which can't be flown without a passenger? No. Ballast is used in several forms; in two-seater competition gliders for example it's water which can be jettisoned if required. 5. Are there FAA rules against flying off-center? Fore and Aft, absolutely. You can lose your license and your liberty for causing an accident due to this.
  18. Also, using Microsoft Edge browser, right-click on the picture and select "Search the web for image" - this is the result:
  19. Is it the default EGPF, a freeware mod, or a payware product? If it's the default, then the approaches should be fine and this could be an issue with the A310 itself.
  20. I don't own the A310 but a quick search of the MSFS official forums brought up this link to the Inibuilds A310 forum & FAQ's page: https://forum.inibuilds.com/forum/270-faqs/ This includes information on how to import Simbrief flight plans into the A310 FMC, which might fix your EGPF approaches.
  21. Navigraph don't provide data for the A310 FMC, it uses the default World Map data which CAN be updated with a Navigraph subscription.
  22. None of the aircraft made for earlier sims will work in MSFS, it's a totally different program. There is some good advice on running fs2004 in Windows 11 on the fs2004 forum.
  23. Switch from NAV to HDG mode on the autopilot panel and dial in your required heading with the selector knob.
