  1. Seriously? Good grief Alan, you're not a troll - if the mods are watching, I can vouch for ViperPilot2 and jgf!
  2. My God, this website has a "Wife" mode now!
  3. I notice that downloads have stopped over the last 24 hours, possibly due to the above message. Is this a site certificate issue by any chance? This error doesn't appear when downloading from other sites.
  4. To toggle the drone camera on or off, press the Insert key. Move Left: A Move Right: D Move Forward: W Move Backward: S Move Up: R Move Down: F Rotate Left: Number Pad 4 Rotate Right: Number Pad 6 Rotate Up: Number Pad 8 Rotate Down: Number Pad 2 Return to start point: Number Pad 5
  5. I always select whichever approach is heading into the wind.
  6. Yes you can: Create an IFR low or high level flight with an RNAV approach where available. Fly the whole flight including approach in GPS mode on the GPS or PFD; on approach select APR mode on the autopilot and you'll intercept the glideslope just as you would on a 'normal' ILS approach. On an RNAV approach there's no ILS frequency required or any other ground-based beacon used for guidance. A low-cost airline here in Europe (easyJet) are testing a new guidance system for the whole flight in this way - satellite guidance only is used for the entire flight: https://mediacentre.easyjet.com/story/16986/easyjet-takes-to-the-skies-with-iris-next-generation-air-traffic-communication-service
  7. You'll need a Navigraph Navdata subscription for that: https://navigraph.com/products/navigation-data
  8. 46 downloads

Inibuilds EGNM Leeds Bradford airport v.1.0.1 is required for this mod. The current parking spots at this airport only allow for one airliner to park at each of the two jetways, which is not realistic. This mod changes all the Ramp parking spaces on the main apron to Gates, so that the full amount of your selected percentage of airline AI Traffic can park. GA traffic will now only park on the Multiflight aprons across the runway from the terminal buildings.
  9. Have you uninstalled the Navigraph plugin? That should stop the login message from appearing.
  10. There's a guide to Simbrief integration in FBW's A32NX manual: https://docs.flybywiresim.com/fbw-a32nx/feature-guides/simbrief/#setup-a32nx-simbrief-integration
  11. Yes there are problems with the disk version, the main one being that you still need to download all the sim updates anyway so you might as well install the latest online version from Microsoft or Steam.
  12. This is why people fly the FBW A320 instead of the default!
  13. Have you reported this as a bug to Navigraph? If not, their forums may shed some light on this issue.
  14. It's shown as Flex on the FMC, here's the official description: "A derated takeoff is a takeoff that is accomplished utilising less thrust than the engines are capable of producing under the existing conditions of temperature and pressure altitude. The derated takeoff enables to improve the takeoff performance if the TOW is limited by VMCG, which usually occurs on short and/or contaminated runways. The principle is to impose a lower engine rating to benefit from lower minimum control speeds." In the Longitude however, it isn't modelled (yet) by Working Title (Discord channel here) so for now we must set a lower TO throttle setting manually.
  15. The steering should only be unlocked for pushback or towing.
  16. It is locking the nosewheel to the tiller or other steering mechanism in the cockpit. It needs to unlocked for towing or pushback: Nose Wheel Steering | SKYbrary Aviation Safety "Many aircraft are subject to pushback procedures in the course of day-to-day operations and virtually all are routinely towed from place to place whilst on the ground. As normal towing or pushback protocols have the potential to exceed maximum nose wheel deflection limitations or to damage hydraulically actuated steering components, features are often incorporated in the nose wheel steering design to ensure safe towing operations. In many cases, the mechanical steering linkage can be physically disconnected allowing the nose wheel to freely castor. In others, a hydraulic bypass mechanism, which can be "pinned" to disable the steering actuator, is incorporated. In all cases, the aircraft must be properly configured prior to commencing towing or pushback operations. It is also important that the bypass pin be removed or that the steering link be reconnected before the aircraft commences taxy."
  17. Yes it's showing that the selected speed is lower than the current speed and that the autothrottle is throttling back until the selected speed is reached.
  18. I've put a red box around the target speed indicators (top image) and the economy speed indicators (bottom image):
  19. The two pink lines indicate the FMS or managed mode target speed range, the pink triangle inbetween indicates the speed target. I googled "a320 pfd speed indications" and clicked on Primary Flight Display Indications - FlyByWire Simulations which has this to say about target airspeed: Target Airspeed This is displayed in either magenta or blue depending on whether managed or selected speed is commanded. It is a triangle coming off from the right side of the speedtape. If the target airspeed is the FMGC computed airspeed, it will be displayed as a magenta triangle. If it is selected from the FCU by the pilots, it will be blue. The target speed will be a magenta double bar when it is associated with the ECON speed range. If the target speed is off the scale, the value is displayed as a number above or below the scale.
  20. He's played a lot of FSX, and that's never been available on Xbox! Never mind, I agree that adjusting the realism settings would be the simplest solution - maybe to Easy instead of Hard?
  21. Switch POI's off altogether, switch on google maps on your cellphone and go hunting like a real man! Who am I kidding? If it's not Accessibility settings it *could* be a graphics anti-alias or some other graphics setting that's changed. Maybe kitty's had a stroll across your keyboard today?
  22. You could have the number 4 disc repaired at a game shop like this one: https://helps.game.co.uk/en/support/solutions/articles/80001036274-disc-repair
  23. I wouldn't bother, the MSFS SDK has changed so much by now that model converter x is virtually obsolete. You'd be better off downloading the AIG models and liveries and adding those to FS Traffic instead.
