  1. Hi, if the marketplace is greyed out you could try this..

    ON PC

Open the Microsoft Store app on your computer.

In the bottom left corner of the Microsoft Store, click on the library icon

In the top left corner, click "Get Updates" then "Update all" and wait for the updates to install.

Once the updates are installed, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Under your email address, click on "Sign out".

    Reboot the computer

    Open the Microsoft Store app.

Click on the icon in the top right corner, then click on Sign in.

Sign in with the Microsoft account you used to play Microsoft Flight Simulator.

    * If the email address under your gamertag is different from the email address used to log in to the Microsoft Store app/purchase Microsoft Flight Simulator, click on "sign in with a different account" or "Switch accounts."

    Regards

  2. I’ve no experience with the Daher throttle I’m afraid. Hopefully someone else will be able to help with that.

As for the headset.. I own the Reverb G2..the Oculus Quest 1 and the Oculus Quest 2 (plus I used to have the Oculus Rift CV1) I wear glasses all the time and have never had any issues. But.. it all depends on the size of your frames I suppose. I purposely try to not go for great big ones. In fact, in the days of my Rift, I bought an additional pair of glasses. They had the cheapest, smallest plastic frames available… bought especially for when I’m using the headset. I haven’t bothered to do this since though.. just used my normal glasses. Another option is to get prescription insert lenses that actually fit inside your headset. I’ve never tried these myself but many others here have.

It’s a pity Currys wouldn’t let you try one. Although the Reverb G2 is probably a better headset for MSFS, the Quest 2 is a good all rounder. You can connect it to your pc for flight sim, or use it on its own ( wirelessly) for other things. Some even use it wirelessly with MSFS, although I’ve never really managed that myself. One other thing.. to fly with VR uses a bit more computing power as you might expect. It might be a good idea to add your pc specs to your signature, or post them here if not

  3. Glad you managed to download it ok. I’m guessing you haven’t downloaded / installed the extra stuff yet?

From the main welcome page… click on Marketplace (bottom right of screen) then click on World. Choose the “free only” filter, and various world updates should appear, if they’re not showing already.

You can down download improved scenery! :)

Also you may find some updates in the content manager.

From the welcome screen.. click the Profile tab (top of screen) and then Content Manager. It may show if there are any scenery updates etc

  4. No prob. Sorry I didn’t solve it. You may be right about it though with the display going off like that.

I presume you’ve got the default throttle unit that plugs into the yoke? When I bought the Saitek yoke, I also bought the additional throttle unit, which has a usb socket (I tried to connect the original throttle with the ps2 plug to the pc first of course… but computer said no LOL. They want you to buy the extra throttle unit) I still have that today & still use it (sort of) I’ve got one of the buttons set to activate VR.. one of the levers is set to mixture.. and another for the parking brake! LOL

With one of these USB Saitek throttles, you wouldn’t need the Honeycomb Bravo throttles (althogh the Bravo is superb and so much better)

Going back to your yoke, I agree it’s not down to MSFS, as some simmers with the same issue are using it with Xplane.

Hope you sort it or manage to get a new one ok.

  5. I’m at a loss then.

There are tons of posts about it though on various forums. Some saying they have fixed it, while others still trying to sort it.

Have a browse… maybe you’ll find the solution.

  6. Hi,

I used to own a Saitek yoke (I sold it after just a few weeks & bought the Honeycomb) but I’m pretty sure I used Saitek’s drivers for it. Maybe you should give them a try?

Is the yoke plugged directly into the pc or are you using a USB hub? Plugging straight into the pc might be best. Another thought.. have you checked if you’ve got USB Power management enabled? Disable it if so.

How to Enable or Disable USB Selective Suspend in Windows 10 via Control Panel

    Open Control Panel. ...

    Click “Hardware and Sound”

    Press “Power Options”

    Click “Change plan settings” ...

    Press “Change advanced power settings”

Look for the USB selective suspend settings and enable or disable it.

    Hope this helps

  7. Hi

Upgraded to Windows 11 msfs reinstalled Bell 47 G cannot be activated! Who can help?

    best regards peter

    Hi Peter,

I run Win 11 and haven’t had any problems activating the Bell 47. I presume you’ve got the serial key. It’s been a while since I did it.. but I think the FlyInside Heli Manager needs to be running?

Your best bet is probably to contact FlyInside. Hopefully they’ll be able to help.

    Regards
