  1. Jan said it makes a funny sound too, doesn't sound right, ah that's why someone stole the props. Col.
  2. Looks great, well done on the port over too, already it is demand lol. Col.
  3. Love it, I've been having a play with a few float planes lately too. Col.
  4. I spotted a few of Ted's paints in there, nice selection Jan, I too liked them all, you are a true noble airman and prop man. Col.
  5. I have one airfield where there is a couple of wind props right in front of the runway, almost impossible to land, if you can time it right you can get through as the wind prop turns just at the right time as you are passing, the prop misses the wing, otherwise you are toast. I stopped flying there now lol, I think it is EGNB Brough, correct me if I'm wrong its been a while. Col.
  6. I have problem on one airfield where most of the taxiway signs are in the middle of the taxiway. I have the same airfield on FSX too, I have Orbx on my FSX and when I contacted them about it I got a reply saying if I remove anything from their scenery it will no longer be supported so I left it as it is. The airfield in question is EGNR Hawarden, taxi signs on both FS9 and FSX, not a big deal but it is annoying to look at. I tried removing them but after I thought I had they were still there, just me not doing it right. Col.
  7. Nice one Terry, if they don't work always try another, I had that with a few panels. I changed a few till I found a nice one that had what i wanted plus it was easy to use on a light aircraft. Col.
  8. Instead of trying the gauges just swap the panel it will tell the sim what gauges it needs, it will be quicker, if it works then find a panel you like and keep that one. or if you are in for doing it then change the gauges. Col.
  9. Adam, Is that what they call a Barn Find? Col.
  10. Agree with the rest Darryl. Great shots. I had a rainbow finish in my garden, the pot was there alright but somebody had taken all the gold. Col.
  11. Jan does that to his prop engines. :D Col.

    AI

Another handy little program is Find Everything, just type in the search and if will find any entry on your PC where those file are, you can delete them if you wish or just go that location and edit or whatever. https://everything.en.softonic.com/ Col.
  13. I like them all Jan, quality aircraft and screen shots mate. Col.
  14. Great shots as already said, yes you timed it right capturing the lightning. One of the funny things with the FS weather, I have at times been flying above the clouds and got rain, where did that come from lol? Col.
  15. One trick I do with an AI type if I want them to takeoff from a water airport, I lower the contact points so the wheels are just below the water then the aircraft looks right on the water. When it does take off you see the wheels but it's only for a few seconds then they retract as normal. If you do this with a flyable then I just retract the wheels anyway. Col.
  16. Your screenies always amaze me. Fist class. Col.
  17. @Darren, yes mate is one of MAAM Sims (Payware) You caught the spray on that one Jan, great shot, I just got the wake and spray back after reinstalling, had to search my old files to find the effects. Col.
  18. It was a long while ago now but once I saved a lot of aircraft to a DVD disk, months must have past and I went to get a certain aircraft off the disk. When I opened it only part of each aircraft was saved, the model, air file and something else I forget what but the whole lot was no use anymore. Maybe the way I saved them I don't know but I was gutted, it hasn't happened since though. Col.
  19. Resurrected one of my old ones, no livery yet on this one, just trying her out. (FS2004) Col.
  20. Great Tim, makes a big difference with nice realistic scenery, better than looking a repeat tiles. Nice little aircraft too for low flying. Col.
  21. It is in the downloads section on here, not my paint there are two. they work in both FSX and FS9 Col.
  22. I recently re-installed FS9, after I got it running OK I started to put back some of my saved aircraft from the last time I had it running. Anyway I went to add a new paint scheme to one of them and then I noticed massive spaces in the aircraft.cfg. I know they were not there before because I like to keep them neat and tidy. So that made me look in the others I had added and sure enough they too had developed the spaces, I know the sim doesn't read spaces but it annoys me. Anyone else ever noticed this after adding their old aircraft back in the sim, I just wondered why it happens, maybe just a Windows thing. Col.
  23. I may have to tweak her a little, she flies very slow considering she has 4 engines, I don't mean have it flying like a fighter plane just a bit more. Col
  24. I may be off track but look at the radio entries in the Bonanza and compare them with the Grumman, if different copy the Bonanza entries in the Grumman and edit out the old ones, see if that works. Just a guess but worth a try. Col.
