  1. This one is not an amphibian but a true see plane, She is flying in FS2004 from one of my water AFCADS. rough translation of Nordmeer = North Sea Col.
  2. Well I left it running while i did other things and here is the completion of the flight. Col.
  3. Ha Ha Jan, that's my kind of humour. :D Col.
  4. That pic almost looks like an advertisement for the aircraft, that's the kind of thing they use, good shot, well done. Col.
  5. Nice one Jan, I'm falling in love with this DC2. Col.
  6. Thanks Jan & Larry, took me a fair few minutes with that globe as the tail is kind of sideways in the texture folder, so getting it to sit right I had to keep rotating it till it looked right. I'll be honest I was going just put a blue coloured globe in then I spotted the blue with yellow and I know WTA in FSX have blue and yellow so I went for it then had to add a stipe to go along with it. Col.
  7. This is the default B737-400 from FS9 flying in FSX, I repainted her with kind of new/old colours and added a few little touches here and there. I gave her some new flight plans so here she is flying as an AI from Manchester to Sharm El Sheikh, I won't follow her all the way lol. The re-Paint Col.
  8. I decided to put one in FS9 as well, then I decided to make a kind of AI out so I made another folder and tweaked one to fly as an AI, removed the VC and a few other bits, tweaked the aircraft.cfg and created a bare metal version, not yet added any livery, wanted to test it first. She flies OK, set her on a short hop of around 60 miles. Col.
  9. Ha Ha you are a scream Jan honestly. ;) Col
  10. Jan HELP! What now, possible engine fire, don't panic, shut off engines. Col.
  11. Tim, can't you do that by just putting the airline slider to zero and just have GA, or isn't option available on the new FS? Col.
  12. Must admit I can't handle speed, the older I got the slower I liked it. I like the look of those shoot'em and racing car games but they are too fast for me, I would never get passed the first round. Col.
  13. Re-read your original post Tim, you found a workaround, I like it mate. I'm always tinkering to find workarounds. Always remember one of the bosses at work when I did a workaround and he said, "Why didn't I think of that?" Col.
  14. Great shots Tim, I've worked on a good few Logan air aircraft. Col.
  15. It's Arrived!! First play with her, going to try and get used to it, its a great model. Col.
  16. Hey Tim my old mate, nice to see you in here. Great shots just above the clouds, you captured it nicely. Col.
  17. Update! I contacted the software guys and got a guy called Oliver, he spent ages with me trying various things, still couldn't get it to work. then as I decided to leave it for the night he emailed back and said, "Have you got the Pause on Task enabled, if so uncheck it?" I did that and yay it worked, that was all it was that was stopping it from working. so then it connected to the sim, a list of AI flights came up, I picked one to follow and stayed with it the whole journey, no kick back to base. Col.
  18. Great shots, just my personal preference I don't have any Buffalo in my system, I don't like the way he runs his business and treats his staff, so in protest I removed any of his aircraft, silly maybe but that's just me. Col.
  19. Do you think we will ever see Jan flying a jet, I doubt it? Great shots as usual Jan. Col.
  20. As Jan above says 'Romance is in the air' very good shots John they do have atmosphere. Col.
  21. Resurrected an old thread, for some strange reason Super Traffic View Board has stopped following the AI the full journey, it kicks me back after about 60 miles and I lose the aircraft I was following. I have been on the STB forum and they haven't resolved it YET. So out of desperation I went back and tried AI TrackerX again and lo and behold I'm having problems to get that to work, they have 5 different versions, I installed the version they told me for FSX but is isn't connecting to it, also by default AI TrackerX installs in programs 86X with no option to change it, I had to move it myself but I think that maybe why it isn't connecting I'm not sure. Anyone else use this program that can advise please? Col.
  22. Not long ago I re-installed FS9 and forgot to take care where it went and it installed in x86, I had to uninstall it and this time I took care where it went, I directed it outside x86, as John Hinson mentioned above it isn't obvious at first. Some installs halt and ask you where you want to install to, but with FS9 you have to kind of find that option. Col.

    AI

As Tom says some installers can put traffic files kind of hidden in there install folder/s and you don't notice them, for example you may download an aircraft or scenery and traffic file/s might come with it. Once you do find the problem, you can have AI traffic files in a dedicated folder outside the default World/Scenery folder. In my system the AI files are in a folder called Traffic: Traffic/Scenery Just make that folder active in the sim then put all your AI traffic files in there, I name all my traffic files so they are easy to find if there is a problem or I want to remove one or change it. Col.
