  1. Jan you seem to have captured an atmosphere with those shots, great pics comrade. :) Col
  2. Had to have gander at this, as the others have said that is a nice Goose Jan, and who better to fly it but an honest and 1st class noble airman. Col.
  3. Wow, those shots a superb Adam, I'm envious mate, what scenery are or was you using back then it is very good? Col.
  4. Classic reply lol, I don't have any problems running FS9 and FSX with W10 either just this EVP. When I said Classic reply it is what a lot reply with they either have no probs or they do, one person's setup is different to another as you know. Seen it lots of times when someone says they are having a problem with such and such and the reply is: It runs OK on my computer. Col
  5. I'm also wondering if Win10 plays a part too, I was on Win7 but changed my hard drive and a newer PC. FS in my case runs OK on Win10 but I think it did run better on Win7. now some are talking about moving or have moved to Win11 lol. Col.
  6. I noticed in the FSX version there is a Data file with yesterday's date as I updated and saved that as well. In the FS9 one the data is dated 16/10/2004. I found reference to it in appdata program files but the folder for both FS9 and FSX was empty. Col.
  7. Update: It kind of works, one of my AI aircraft is now using a call sign I gave it from EVP, but when I went to update EVP the save is greyed out, does it have to add a file to FS somewhere? Col.
  8. Well I sorted it but not how you would think. I had a copy installed on a spare hard drive, so I copied it over and it worked. The puzzling thing is, it worked but the one I tried to install wouldn't let me, anyway it's on now and working. Col.
  9. It is asking for Net frameworks V1.14 which I have installed, so I go to install it again but it pops up asking for Net 1.14. I've had it running in the past but now I'm on Windows10 surely that isn't problem is it, if so anyone know the workaround if there is one? Col.
  10. I've worked the night shift many times at the airport, at night the air is different and on the apron especially in the warmer months it had a nice atmosphere somehow. We got a lot more cargo planes in at night, as most of you know they tend to operate a night, then early morning we got the American aircraft arriving. We got the mail and newspaper aircraft in too, all hand loaded, they were often passenger aircraft converted for the night flights then converted back the next day for passenger types. Col.
  11. Slightly off topic, I see now on eBay a few netbooks with Windows11 installed, just my opinion but I don't think Win11 is really made for a netbook, I just think it is to lure some people in to buying. Col.
  12. I bought this from a guy in Amsterdam, seems he's got a bit of a reputation as being an honest and noble airman, well I must give him credit. When I first saw the aircraft I was about to turn away and go but he persuaded me to give it a test flight, to my amazement it did fly good. I said to him, "I'll have it, it just needs a bit of loving care and attention." He was annoyed and replied, "What do you mean it needs a bit of loving care and attention, I give all my aircraft that, there is nothing you need to do to it, it's perfect." Col.
  13. Again Tom you hit the nail on the head, I installed Traffic Toolbox. First I activated Traffic View Board, listened to the AI contact the tower, got clearance but just sat there. So started FS again and I activated Traffic Toolbox, the AI moved off, taxi no problem, as it was ready for takeoff I activated TVB then followed it the whole journey. So something it TVB has to be the cause, still I'll carry on doing it this way seeing as it works, thank you again Tom, if you had a $ for everyone you have helped you would have a nice little nest egg mate. Col.
  14. I used to have that Tom but not installed it since I put FS9 back on, I might try it again. I'll check the radius, good thinking. @CRJ, No Aaron these were default airfields, I know what you mean about some afcads, I've had to mod some in the past. On this subject one of my pet hates is backtrack airfields, a lot of times the AI get stuck turning round at the end of the runway. I sometimes add a taxiway to eliminate this fictional or not I just do it.
  15. Update: I went to a different airfield and set an AI flight plan for 2 Beech Bonanza the one I was following got stuck till I advanced x2 then it taxiid OK but the one behind never got stuck. So I'm thinking Bernard might be on to something when you mentioned Traffic View Board, the one I was following got stuck as I said but not the other. Col.
  16. Hi guys, I downloaded another model and used part of that aircraft cfg to tweak the problem one. It sat on the tarmac contacted ATC and when it got clearance it sat there, I had to again x2 time advance and it moved off, once moving it taxi OK and took off and flew fine. @Bernard, yes mate I was following with TVB, I always place it either on the helipad or on a free stand. As for using it as an AI I removed the VC as well using Hex Editor. Col.
  17. I've had this before and forgot what I did to cure it, I know in some cases it can be the afcad. I recently downloaded Mike Stone's Beechcraft Bonanza from the library, I have it flying as an AI and it flies great, but on taxi I have to time advance to get it to move then at certain parts it stops and inches forward then goes again. It isn't the airfield as I have got other AI moving no problem, I'm wondering if to tweak the aircraft.cfg and see if I can fix it, any ideas please? I know some will say it is a flyable and download an AI version instead but I like this one plus I repainted it lol. Col.
  18. Short video but interesting: Col.
  19. Great as usual Jan, deffo make post cards out of your screenshots. Col.
  20. Did anyone notice the nose art: The pink sunglasses lol. Col.
  21. This aircraft was spotted flying over the Dutch coast, restored by the Dutch company Peerebroom Aircraft Restore based in Amsterdam. The CEO is a first class airman himself who is actually flying the plane along with 2 of his trusty staff members.
  22. Another set of amazing shots, each one post card quality, I particularly like no'2 and no'3 Col.
  23. WOW! Amazing shots Jan, absolutely amazing. Col
  24. Post card pics as usual Jan, great work. Col.
  25. What's that thing on the front, is that for stabbing the enemy lol? Seriously a great paint Jan, looks the business. Col.
