Hi tiger thanks for the reply you did help me by saying i should increase deadzone sensitivity which i did and cured the veering off problem i do have the flyby wire mod installer and check regular for updates My problem is nothing seems to be working as i said even the light path landing guide doesent show I need the assists brcause i am new I am at a total loss with the game in general nothing i try seems to work where on earth am I going wrong

Hi In the past I have made a lot of posts about the A320 and the AP well I am getting fed up trying to stay positive about the Sim but its getting hard to do ,Ap not working as it should ,hardly any of the Assists are working ,ATC is a joke ,AI Pilot not too bad ,but in general nothing is working for me , I am using the Fly by wire mod,I have made adjustments to the deadzone on my controller and this did stop aircraft from going right and crashing If i am doing something wrong I dont know what it is ,scince release i must have flown the a320 hundreds of times only ever had two or three good flights with proper landing I am in all seriousness ready to give up on the game altogether unless i can sort this out . If there is anyone who can give me some advice i would appreciate it very much I have watched videos on youtube till i am blue in the face and in practice most dont seem to work as all systems are different ,does anyone know if the Liverey you use makes any diffrence to the handling of the plane cant see that it can then i dont know much lol

My sim had a relapse lol neither the AP or co-pilot find the nav line and most of the way points are wrong ATC is a joke i set it to low altitiude and they are sending me to 42000 and above I am not experienced but I know that is wrong lol I am trying to be positive but its hard when things are not going as they should I just dont know what to do next I fix one problem and it causes another .

Hi Tiger thank you for your reply Good News i did what you suggested and everything is flying alright .but the aircraft is just flying a little from the line whilr this is not a big problem when it does touch the line its pointing away as though its flying sideways. last night I decided to do a flight from KSFO to KJFK which i didnt know at the time is 13990miles lol very Ambitous even for seasoned flyers with a frame rate of 50 outside and 35 inside I set off take off was good found the line ok then after about half an hour in it veered again and got a mind of its own the Ap i mean switched to co- pilot and then then back to AP and it was fine i had to do this a couple of times throughout the flight during the flight i was getting long pauses like a freeze but the sound was there and then it would carry on as before twice it did that do you think it might have been loading the map or what Anyway to cut a long story short i was sent to 40000 ft by atc and when i they told me to reduce height for landing i didnt make it down in time ,(live weather and rain) i never made it to airport and you guessed it i crashed do you think a increase of 9% would be better for the sensitivity just a thought.but all in all you were right well done there thanks very much. Hi thanks for your reply I do have the mod lol but its still not working its wanting to go right and nose dives to the ground if i let it but co- pilot puts it on track again strange co- pilot working well but Ap is pants Which ver should i have Stable or dev release ?

Hi At the risk of being shouted down I still cant get my AP to work the co- pilot is great does a good job but would like to try and get AP working ,also how do I set the transponder i assume thats what gives the squawk code is set my flight is always getting cancelled because i dont put the squawk in sheeeesh .As a matter of interest does it matter which livery you use ?with the A320 i seem to remember reading a post that said it did.Any advice /help would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi stempski i use a "43 tv dont laugh I run it in 4k its only 60hz but good enough for me I am not a hard core flight simmer and indeed I have a lot to learn I have my reasons for using a tv which I wont bore you with lol Kind regards Andrew

Hi Thanks for clearing that up for me are the planes any good lol I mean do they fly without hassle I am sceptical with everything at the moment with third party addons especially i want to buy Airports from the market place but if every time there is an update they have to be moved from community folder I wont bother . Hi Steve thanks for your kind words it was all expensive but I live for pc Games not just flight sims I have alot of steam Games including train sim and Eurotruckers 2 and I play Eurotruckers MP as well so even if I am no good with MFS yet my PC is not wasted lol Kind Regards Andrew

I second that I know I am new but been trying to get this bird to fly for me scince realease date oh when first realesed it did fly Plainsman did a great job explaining things to me and i have tried his sugestions but with the constant pace of updates its hard to keep up not giveing up though lol.

HI That's just what I have done when the file is unzipped just place the folder of the livery that you want into the community folder .that way you can add or delete as you require.

Hi I wouldn't be too concerned, I to have ordered a new PC you don't say where yours is comeing from but the Average build time for a pc is around 3 weeks ,if its a ready built pc should be alot quicker ,have you tried phoning them for an update or emailing we all want our new pc's quick lol but it is far better to wait let them get soak tested and arrive in good working order.

I take your point and will certainly give it a try but i am only really interested in the A320 lol I will do it just a matter of time I just thought I would humble myself and ask for help on the forum,anyway thanks for trying to help, I will just have to work it out for myself.

So what are you saying that I have to complete a flight plan with simbreif or similar and that the AP won't with the flight plan created in MSFS I thought the AP got the information from the flight plan. So are saying that there is still information to enter into MCDU because after creating a flight plan with MSFS because I tried and could not get anything to enter I am more confused than ever now lol PS How do I stay logged in ?

I am not an idiot do you think I have watched all the videos and don't know the difference in modes the AP was in manged mode I didn't touch or change anything all I have been doing is taking off raising Landing gear and flaps then when at what I think is the right height engage AP can't remember exact height, think it was around 2000ft. Anyway I had already got the message to reduce to climb.

Hi First would low fps make my aircraft do erratic things ? So I was having difficulty Flying the A320 ,I was advised on here to watch relevant videos on youtube which I have done on takeoff, flight plans ,entering data etc into MCDU ,Simbrief, having made some notes ,I decided to give it all a try so I made a flight plan entered any missing info into MCDU that i thought was needed although this was limited, and took off, but low and behold it was just the same at a certain height engaged AP and dissaster the aircraft veered to Right and crashed. I have actually tried several flight plans and different configurations different was taking off ,toga and flex the only thing I can think of is that there is a difference in flight plans ie ones created in msfs and the ones in Simbrief etc or its my pc not cutting the Mustard and giving low fps like not enough to keep the plane flying or something like that. Can anyone tell me if I create a flight plan within MSFS20 is that all I need to make a flight or does it require entering more information in mcdu before takeoff, I am just trying to find out where I am going wrong. Being new I have tried all aids on and all aids off and somewhere in between. I am using the flybywire mod but have also tried without it the thing is all the aircraft handle the same way I am using the Boxed Disk version of the Sim I really dont think a reinstall will help although i did consider it. This as been a problem for me scince Msfs started updating and I am almost at the stage of giving up with it altogether, I know lack of knowledge is playing a part but tried to remedy that I have a new pc on order maybe should wait and see what happens with the new system which actually is a bit overkill even for a sim but I bought it for other things as well. I would be grateful if anyone can give me advise as to where I might be going wrong. Andrew

Thanks for quick reply ,So what do you think is causing the veering off to the right ? Is it the VS ? or lack of info in the mcu ? Low FPS or something else ,and yes I do realise it is not like fsx and have watched videos several times . I am not looking for miracles just to be able to fly it i can always polish afterwards lol Andrew
