Hi Unfortunately my new system as developed a fault with the psu and as gone to be repaired /exchanged so in the mean time i am back on my old PC but i cant get any sort of fps mostly unflyable I have tried High med and low to no avail I cant understand what i am missing the specs on this sysytem are :- CD-162-SA Samsung SH-224GB/BEBE 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - CP-581-IN Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor - HS-035-AR Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler CA-172-CS Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-03 Mid Tower Gaming Case CA-038-SF Super Flower Leadex GOLD 550W Fully Modular '80 Plus Gold' 224-SA Samsung 250GB 750 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive FG-063-NB System Build Fan - Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro Fan PLPS - 120mm PWM [EXNO-001] GX-068-IN Inno3D GeForce GTX 1070 HerculeZ Twin X2 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card There are 3x 2tb hdds installed as well it was running msfs quiet well before i upgraded not ultra but high end certainly i might have to give up on msfs until I get my pc back. Hi Actually my fps as gone up as far as i can tell no skips freezers jumps or anything I can only thank them for the update I think thats all it can be so pleased with it for now lol. regards Andrew PS and my settings are nearly all ultra 4k

Hi not really up on o/c but never been a big fan but i do know that sometimes overclocking can be counter productive you could try reducing the overclock and maybe lower the graphic setting temporarily and see if it stops the freeze if your flying over heavily populated areas its not unusual for the sim to stutter and sometimes freeze as you probably already know if nothing helps I would put a ticket into Zendesk and the support there will probably offer advice its also good for them as it helps with future fixes But about your problem I would also reduce the traffic and check any recent addons mods or addons that could be causing a problem just try removing them and add them back one at a time and check a bit of a ball ache but might find solve your problem but i would look to setting first. Hi David If I may offer some advice there are numerous tutorials on how to fly Youtube is a good place to start I am a fairly new user myself ,just search youtube for your field of interest you could also use google to find tutorials but most forums have some form of tutorial section depending on what you are interested in also read previous posts by people on the forum again use the search. Hi I had a reply from zendesk and they said We're aware of an issue with the community content in Microsoft Flight Simulator and we are actively working on it. And also CONTENT MANAGER Add-ons/Sceneries/Liveries installed in the Community folder may appear as "Not installed" in Content Manager. Workaround: Your community content is installed and usable in Microsoft Flight Simulator. We are currently investigating this issue and it will be fixed in an upcoming patch. So dont panick Mr mannering sir lol

thanks neilends so is that why nothing is installing in the content manager ? but most of it is working I really dont understand whats going on every time there is an update brings more problems getting tired of to be honest.

My update was successful as well apart as I said the fact none of my community mods etc installed maybe its another way of doing it but the fact its showing as not installed doesent make sense to me and no mention of it anywhere.

Hi Nothing from my community folder is showing content manager as installed but as far as i can tell everything in folder is working its hard to check everything Unless this is something new and items in community folder don't Install now I doubt thats right but you never know As other users items from community folder Installed ?

Hi glen I relate to what your saying i can't remember the last time i put flight sim 2020 on and there was't some kind of problem update this update that if you know what i mean if i were you I would wait and see what the next update brings i think it was a bit nuaghty of microsoft to expect users who paid over £100 for the dam game to be extended beta testers I am not at the stage of giving upon it just yet lol but dam nr if things dont change soon then I will put it down too experience and get rid.I have spent as much time like you on finding fixes as I have flying becuase nothing is working for me I start a flight get all the way to landing and it crashes how bad is that not just one plane but all of the airliners are the same . Hi I wouldnt be too hasty doing a reinstall apart from it being a mamoth task it might not solve the problem .If you do you dont need the number its registered to your account as a matter of interest did you check and see if everything in ms store is up to date + windows update and graphics driver just a thought :) Did you say you have rolling cache in your community folder ? if so don't think that sounds right.There is an update due anytime soon I would wait and see what is brings. I use Revo uninstaller it gets rid of all the reg left overs there is a free version to try https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/ might help I'm sure your right about The flight sim being to blame I too am having a few probs , was it the PNP a330 you tried because it wont work when fbw is installed you need the compatability mod as well seems no end to it getting more like fsx lol. Hi Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with fbw it usually works flawlessly I think it could well be the Sim and microsoft getting ready for update just a guess i just updated fbw seemed to work fine the 737 max is not working well either its comeing to something when freeware works better than payware lol which i think is over priced anyway.I am by no means an expert but I would delete anything to do with fbw ie backups etc remove ref from community folder and restart your pc then try and install again not sure it will work but sometimes starting from the begging helps but I am sure you are better at it than me .I dont know what else to suggest you could try the stable version and see if that works best of luck. The Airbus controller is on my wishlist but i found a Black widow on ebay for £20 it seems enough for me at the moment lol Kind regards Andrew

I to use the auto pilot in the 747, have you tried the salty mod for 747 I'm sure its here https://sim4flight.com/salty but a quick search will get you to it just unzip it and put it in your community folder hope this helps. Kind Regards Andrew

Just a quick update I have bought a UPS unit although I am not sure if I am going to keep it or not ,I had an Electrician out yesterday and he changed one of the Plug sockets its a double plug and I had a feeling one was faulty, since then the popping as stopped lo lI am keeping my fingers crossed the Electrician said that there is nothing I am running that would normally be a problem and the rating for my upstairs circuit is 35amps so all things being equal I should be alright now .He also said that my trusty trailing lead should be ok as if there was a problem it just would Just not work and would probably just blow the fuse. I intend to keep the UPS unit for a few days and if the problem does come back I will use it if not i will return it ,but it did rather centre around the faulty plug socket I am grateful for all the input from people that posted and it just shows what a great Forum this is thanks guys. Hi Everyone thanks for all the replies not sure where to start i cant connect to a dedicated power source my pc is too far away i have ordered a new trailing power lead if that doesent do it i will send it back to have the psu changed I am 75yrs old been using computers for the last 20yrs at least and never had this problem before and neve had a psu break on me ,I will sift through the information everyone as given me and try all the options I have, I in fact only have my pc and tv connected to the power strip I am not a technical minded person but i do understand what everyone is saying I did have a big old sub woofer connected have disconnected thati will see what happens when i turn on tomorrow. nooo not in usa I dont really understand what your saying what do you mean by tripping the sockets it only tripped the sockets once when it first started do you mean something is not up to the job and is there a way round it ,I have 3 other things plugged into the trailing lead but its a good lead with power surge built in i suspect this wont go away in a hurry, is there anything you can sugest I mean it is presumably what most people do when there power cord wont reach a plug socket I am going to try a new Trailing lead otherwise its back under warranty to change the power supply. thanks for your reply guys i'm afraid its a little more than speaker popping the first time it happened it switched the power off to all the upstairs sockets I have one last thing to try and that's changing the trialing lead everything is plugged into i just cant think for the life of me why this has happened out the blue it dont make much sense. kind regards Andrew

Hi i have a 1200watt power supply unit in my tower and just lately there as been a popping sound when i turn the power on via a trailing lead its all surge protected the pc works fine once its on. As anyone come or heard of this before i know the corsair psu's did it years ago but i have never come across it it in 15 or more years no matter how i do it if i plug it straight into the wall its the same ,tried different sockets on the trailing lead same thing its a brand new PC cost alot of money but i am trying to elimiate the problem my self if i can anyone got any thought on this be really grateful for advise ,sugestions .
