My Azure ATC drops out every flight now. I have AT&T Gigabit fiber (1000/1000). Most of the time I don't even get the warning popup that it has stopped working. Sometimes I'll get the kiddie voices but most of the time nothing. All I hear is my copilot. I have my online traffic set to 50.

Yes I came back over here for a while. I got tired of all the arguing. Plus if you say anything negative at all about MSFS over there your post gets hidden or the thread locked immediately. Much better over here.

I did a flight from KJAC to KDEN in the FBW A320 after the update today. I had no problem at all. The mouse cursor issue is even fixed. Yay!

Well after a week and 1 day I still can not get past the Gaming Services screen. I have now given up and gone back to FS9. I have it on a old computer with all of my addons from over the years. I can honestly say that I just had the most enjoyable flight once again. No more headaches and no more pulling my hair out trying to get MSFS to load. It's too bad really. This sim really did have potential until SU5. But life is too short to have to keep doing MS/Asobo's job to keep a game working. Good luck to all of you still fighting this. Edit Since I had just purchased the game on July 18th (Had been using the Xbox For PC Pass for the past year) my credit card bank is issuing me a refund for MSFS. Since I was sold a program that I can not use after July 27th. Makes me feel better about all of this. I might try P3D or XPlane 11. Haven't tried those before.

Lee thanks. I have been going back to a disk image on an external drive that I made right before SU5. Back when MSFS would load up just fine. But for some reason I am still getting the Microsoft Store Gaming Services screen when I try to load MSFS. So it's now installed from a disk image but I can't load the game. I have no idea why unless the setting is stored in the cloud. Sim loaded fine when I made the image. I am at a loss how to fix this. I keep reading of people finally fixing the issue but so far nothing. I even installed Windows 11 today in the hopes it would fix the Gaming Services issue when trying to start the sim. No luck. I am now back on my Windows 10 image that I made before SU5. Still getting the Gaming Store issue. I have been at this for a week now. I am about to bite the bullet and buy the sim on Steam. I have had it with the MS Store. But I hate to repurchase something I have already bought including about 6 add on airports in the marketplace. MS was no help. They gave up and told me to just buy the sim on Steam. Great support.

Lee, I am having the same problem as you. My MSFS downloaded SU5 and and I was able to start the sim. But I was never able to get in the air after the SU5 update. I was doing some calibration of my flight yoke and closed the sim to go to bed. The next morning I got the Microsoft Store Gaming Services error when trying to load MSFS. I had left my computer on all night and no changes were made. I have been trying for a week now without any luck. Today I uninstalled MSFS and am stuck in the Windows Store unable to download MSFS. I am not getting the error that you get. Mine just says Starting Download but nothing ever happens. Digital Ownership just shows Pending. Nothing I do will get the download of either MSFS or Digital Ownership to happen. So you are not alone. I have no idea what to do next except repurchase from Steam. But then I don't know if all of my purchased content (airports) will work in Steam. Also I have really gotten fond of the FBW A320 and not sure if it works with Steam. Anyway you are not alone. Please let me know if you figure this out. And I will do the same. Oh yea I own the Standard Edition of MSFS. Edit I forgot to mention that my computer is up to date with all Windows 10 updates as well as Store updates. I just did all that this morning. This one really has me scratching my head.

Yea not my thing either. Now if PMDG would do a B727-100/200 or a B737-200 or a DC9-30 I'd be right on it.

I've given up on FS2020 yet again. I keep hoping it works. But each time I come back to try it it lets me down. Today I tried a flight from KSAN to KRNO in the A320 mod. Perfect flight up until the autopilot levels me out at 10K ft about 60 miles from KRNO. Then the plane immediately turns sharply too the right and nose dives into the ground. This is the 2nd time since August this has happened. But each time it's some new problem with this sim. I am going to shelve it for the next few moths or even a year and go back to FS9 again. FS9 just works even though it isn't a scenery simulator like this new game.

The FBW Developer mode works just fine. What happened to me was the last MSFS2020 update reversed my aileron axis in my CH Products flight yoke. Once I figured that one out the mod works perfectly. Try going final with the axis reversed. It was quite a ride.

I'll have to try KATL and see how it is. My home is KDFW. And they did a good job with KDFW also.

What a crappy response. I too have the same issue as the OP. I am running an AMD Ryzen 7 3800 with 32GB of Corsair RAM at 3200 mhz. I have a Radeon RX5700 GPU. And the program is running on an M.2 NVME drive. I have AT&T Gigabit 1000/1000 Fiber internet. I doubt very seriously that the problem is with the OP's computer or internet connection. And neither is my equipment faulty. I don't have an answer as to why this issue is occurring. But I do get upset when you constantly are on this forum chastising people that do have problems. The always "Well mine doesn't do that" doesn't really help.

I see the same issue with KMCI and KDFW. I have not tried KORD. I have gone back to FS9 for the second time now. MSFS keeps getting worse with every so called patch.

I have everyone of those here too. My favorite would be FS2004. I still use it to this day. I tried FSX but uninstalled it after 3 days and went back to FS2004. I tried MSFS (The Newest) but gave up after all of the problems. Asobo just keeps introducing more problems with each patch. It's a nice scenery simulator but that's all it is. Honestly I don't think Asobo knows what they are doing. I thing MS will pull the plug in less than 6 months. It should have been called Flight II.

I have already given up on MSFS aka Microsoft Flight II. I am just really glad I didn't pay for it. I tried it through the $1 XBox for PC trial. Then I paid $5 for the next month in the hopes that the patches would fix the game. But they only made the game worse. So yes I agree with your post 100%. I have gone back to FS9 and all of my addons. It's very relaxing to do a flight in the HJG DC9-30 and have everything work 100%. Planes, sim, 3rd party weather, and 3rd party ATC. It all works.

I agree with you on this one. I used your sensitivity settings as a guide and they were spot on. I am a RW pilot and the C152 did fly like the real thing. Removing the sensitivity settings was a big mistake. I had given up on MSFS. But I am trying it again and am trying to like it. I still spend most of my time with FS9 and all my addons. It helps with the frustration from using MSFS.

I had the greyed out drop down menus too. I am using the XBox to PC version for now. Today I decided to uninstall the sim and reinstall it. The reinstall kept all of my controller settings which was a relief. But now all my drop down menus are working again. I also use the mod for the A320 and all of it's functions are working too. I was having issues where I could not change the altitude setting in the AP. It was stuck on 5000 ft. V/S wouldn't work either. Might be worth it to try and fix the issues. Luckily I have AT&T Gigabit Fiber so it only took about 15 minutes for me.

Same here. Spent time setting up my CH Products Flight Yoke and getting the sensitivities right. Then comes the latest patch which screwed that up and introduced numerous other bugs. This sim will go the way of MS Flight. It'll be dead in a year. Maybe less.

Why do you make it your mission to belittle every poster that does not agree with you or put praise on this beta game? We are upset because we were told the sim was the best thing since sliced bread. And MS charged us top dollar for a half built sim. We have just as much right to post about this game as you do. There is no need to belittle everyone that you do not agree with.

If there was a bug zapper mod to hang in any aircraft for this game and you turned it on it would probably zap the game into a CTD. I can't believe this buggy game is actually getting worse.

Well I am one hard core simmer (Going way back to Sublogic days) that is finished with this beta game that was put out. Never should have been released. Should have been called Flight II and will probably be gone in a year. I am very disappointed. So as long as there are people praising this turd there will be some of us warning potential people away from this beta game.
