  1. I've been seeing the same thing with FSRealWX Lite as well as Pro. It has been happening for a few months now. Changing the time by 1 minute will not fix it. My go to weather program is ASE but lately it shows me partly cloudy skies instead of overcast. So I have tried the other 2 programs. But they have the wrong runway syndrome. If I find a solution I'll be sure to post it.
  2. I was using NOAA when I had the issue with taking so long to download and send to FS9. I think the issue affected both servers.
  3. I have noticed the same thing over the past 2 weeks. ASE was having issues showing me partly cloudy skies when they were supposed to be overcast. So I tried the other ones you mentioned. I ran into the same issue. Although if I waited about 25 minutes FSRealWX Lite would finally work. I finally went back to ASE and so far it has worked again. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  4. Meat Water was an alternate voice program/files for Radar Contact.
  5. UAC is turned off and has been since I "upgraded" to Windows 10. I always restart my computer after an update. And there aren't any updates waiting to be installed. FS9 worked perfectly in Windows 10 1803. It's broken in 1903. Thanks for the suggestions. But I am uninstalling FS9 in Windows 10 and just using the dedicated FS9 HDD with Windows XP on it.
  6. Thanks for the info. But no matter what I try I can not change the permissions in Windows 10 to allow me to change this file. I am the Admin. Everything I have tried on the web has failed. I am really starting to hate Windows 10. I have been building computers since 1996 and I can't do anything with this file. I'm giving up on running FS9 on Windows 10. I'll just go back to my Windows XP install of FS9 and use that. It just works and I have it cloned on 2 HDD's just in case. FS9 was working perfectly on Windows 10 1803 until Windows "upgraded" itself to 1903. Now FS9 won't even start. I get the OOM error message no matter what I try. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.
  7. Well it was for me. I am glad you didn't have an issue with updating to 1903. OP needs some ideas and since 1903 screwed up my FS9 install on Windows 10 I thought I would mention it. My Windows XP install of FS9 dating back to 2003 (or whenever FS9 came out) still works great. I have that on a separate HDD that only runs FS9.
  8. Is it possible the OP did a Windows 10 update? I started with Windows XP and FS9 when it first came out. I have been making clones of that drive since I have so many addons. I use this HDD for FS9 only. However I did install FS9 on Windows 10 Pro recently on my main HDD. It ran well but when I "upgraded" Windows 10 from 1803 to 1903 my FS9 will not start anymore. I get an OOM error every time I try to start FS9. I have a 4TB HDD with 2.2TB of data on it. I also have 16GB of DDR3 RAM. I blame the no start on the "upgrade" from 1803 to 1903. OP did you update Windows 10 right before this problem?
  9. And even after America West merged with US Airways the call sign for the original America West aircraft were still Cactus. An example of this is Sully's plane that ditched in the Hudson river. His aircraft's call sign was Cactus.
  10. Sorry to hear of your medical issue. I am a retired LEO that messed up my shoulder/neck and was forced to retire after having 20 years in. Take care of yourself and do what the doctors tell you. After 8 surgeries I am still only about 70% of what I used to be. Shoulders and nerves take a long time to heal. As Mr. Zippy said there are many free and paid programs to use for your weather.
  11. TheRedBadger back off a bit on your autogen slider. You said in your last post that it is maxed out. Try backing off a notch. I have a fast updated homebuilt computer and I was getting the same crashes with autogen set to max. I backed off a notch and all is fine. If that doesn't solve it run an antivirus scan. Then download the free version of Malwarebytes and run that. See if they find anything. Malware and viruses can also cause what you are seeing.
  12. I don't think building a computer is a waste of time. I have always built mine. That way I put exactly the parts I want in it instead of a manufacturer putting what they want in a PC. I can also upgrade it when I want and not have to worry about proprietary parts that can not be upgraded. I use mine for FS9 as well as numerous other games on and off of Steam. I don't feel it's ever a waste of time to build a computer at all.
  13. Keep up the good work! All I use now in FS9 are HJG supplied aircraft. Mainly the 727-100/200 and my favorite is your DC9-30. I am patiently waiting the arrival of your B737-100/200.
  14. Real World Weather has not worked in FS9 for a long time. There are a few 3rd party weather programs that you can use. Do a search in the forum. They have been mentioned many times in this forum.
  15. Would be nice if it would really look like it does in the video. I don't own and Xbox and never will. So if I buy it I'll use the PC. But I am skeptical that it will look and run as smooth as the video. But I hope I am wrong.
  16. Ah the old Emachines. I bought one new from Micro Center with Windows XP on it. I changed parts in that machine for years and limped it along until I finally built my own PC years later. It ran quite a few versions of FS. Medical bills is also the reason I stayed with the Emachines PC for a long time. That machine really was built like a tank.
  17. Yup that's it! I had to re-register at that time. And something happened to my account again in 2012 and I had to register again. You are correct sir. I also remember an extreme slow down about a year or two ago that made the site practically unusable. Maybe that's why I was thinking it went down.
  18. No it was not Avsim. It was here. And I will not give his name because I still see that he is a mod here at Flightsim. Although I haven't seen him post in a while. Avsim had their own jerks and Flightsim is a much better site. But what I am talking about is a moderator here at Flightsim. He was the reason I did not and will not renew my First Class membership as I have stated. Again it's not proper to name him in this forum.
  19. I can tell you who the moderator was but I'm not going to bring that up in this forum. And no he wasn't at Avsim that I know of. If you didn't have a crash or attack then why did I have to make a new user name and password in 2012? I have been here practically the whole time ya'll have been here. I signed up back during FS98. And I wasn't the only one who had to do this years ago. Something did happen.
  20. I shouldn't have said incidents like these. What set me off was the rude comment at the end of your message to him. The "nuf said" comment. You actually made your point very well up until that rude comment at the end. I have been here in this forum since dirt. I was here long before ya'll even had the server crash or attack years ago when everyone had to resign in after everyone's info was lost. I used to be a First Class Member. But ya'll had an administrator/moderator that thought he was God. He was extremely rude and was the reason I canceled my First Class Membership. I haven't seen him in a long time. And I won't mention any names. What I should have said instead of incidents was the attitude here. Again I felt the rude "nuf said" was uncalled for. And it reeked of the old days when that rude admin/mod was here. Thank you for letting me clarify this. I won't comment here about this again. Good day sir.
  21. Wow. So you won't help this guy out since he already paid for the product? Incidents like these are why I stopped paying for a first class membership years go. nuf said
  22. All of the panels, sounds, and manuals are on the HJG websites. They are in seperate areas on the website. Make sure you download the proper panels for the aircraft you downloaded. IE a DC9-30 has a specific DC9-30 panel in the panels section. HJG also has a very good user's forum if you have any questions. Most questions are already answered in the forums. Enjoy!
  23. Yup. Love that website. I use their DC9-30 and B727-200 almost daily. I love flying the old way and not with a GPS or flight computer. I have many other aircraft from their site but those two are my favorite. The Caravelle is really good too!
