  1. Then don't read them. This is a forum where we discuss the good and the bad. If you don't like a post then move on to something else. Your whining is just as bad.
  2. Yea I tried FSX for a couple days when it first came out. Just didn't like it. So I deleted it and stayed with FS9.
  3. I agree. To me the rudder inputs appear to be more of a slew mode than any rudder corrections I've ever seen. Definitely needs to be fixed.
  4. Anyhow, nothing wrong with the sim tho, yes, bugs galore. So freakin many bugs, that is real. Ok now this is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. Nothing wrong with the sim but bugs galore. Well which is it? This game is a beta. Nothing more. I do hope it gets fixed though.
  5. I had this same issue yesterday. Mine occurred with the checklist after I had landed, parked, and shut down the plane to a cold and dark state. I saved the flight and when I went back into the sim later and reloaded the saved flight I had the checklist error. If I started all over again instead of just loading a saved flight the checklist was ok. I am also seeing an issue with ATC if I load a saved flight. The begining choices are not available. Just chalk it up to more bugs with the sim.
  6. Oh I don't know. Maybe he watched all the marketing videos and fell for all the hype that the marketing people put out. I for one bought the $1 Xbox for PC "trial" for a month to try it out. I have made my decision to not buy it in it's current state. Other than scenery eye candy MSFS was rushed out. It is a beta and should have been labeled an early access game. Yes folks this is a game. Stop kidding yourselves. It's a game. I am staying with FS9 with all my addons until this beta is fixed. Then I will revisit the game. To the OP just contact the site where you purchased this game. Ask them for a refund.
  7. I'm still lurking here and using both FS9 with all my addons as well as MSFS. I use FS9 more until MS or Asobo or someone fixes all the issues with MSFS.
  8. Yea I was opening the fuel switch. I had an issue with my throttle and mixture on my CH Flight Yoke not being set correctly. If MS had included a friggin manual then issues like this might not exist. I now think I have everything setup with my Flight Yoke and Saitek peddles. Except for the sensitivities. No matter what I set the C152 seems to be all over the place. Very hard to keep it flying level and straight. Unlike the real thing which I can fly almost by finger tips when it's trimmed right. This game still seems like a beta to me. I strongly feel it was released too early. Hopefully it will be fixed eventually. For now I am spending more time in FS9 with all of my addons. I continue to try the $1 trial of MSFS with the hopes that it will be fixed some day.
  9. I am having the same issue with the C152. Only way to start the engine for me is with CTRL+E.
  10. I just built a new system as I also play a lot of other games. I am trying out MSFS via the $1 XBox for PC deal. I switch between High and Ultra and do not experience any stutters. But I also do not have any other programs running in the back round. In case it helps my system is a Ryzen 3800x running at 4.3ghz. 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM at 3200mhz. And a Radeon 5700 GPU. I have a 2TB M.2 MVNE but I'm not sure if this even matters with the $1 trial.
  11. I am trying the game out on the $1 XBox for PC pass. I have Windows 10 1909. I do have a powerful home built system though. I have no issues other than the huge learning curve.
  12. I get that part. But why the FSX first? What does FSX MMXX mean? That was my question. I guess I don't know what Flight Sim10 2020 means.
  13. And why don't you enlighten us as to what FSX MMXX means?
  14. I disagree. MSFS 2020 is a pretty scenery game. As a flight simulator it falls flat on it's face. Appears to be geared for the arcade kiddie crowd. This is not a simulator. And yes I am a real world pilot.
  15. I caved in and bought the $1 Xbox for PC "trial" so I can see the new sim for myself. After 2 days I am still on the ground. The new sim is just too frustrating to use. I go way back to Sublogic. I have purchased every sim up to this new one. Now that I have tried it I can honestly say that I am very glad I did not buy it. Other than the pretty views there is nothing else I like about MSFS. Going back to my old FS9 with all my addons. Good luck to those of you sticking with this thing.
  16. No way. I'm not paying good money for something I now know I will not like. Again I hate VC's. I'll be staying with FS9 and all of my addons. I don't care how good the scenery looks. If there are no 2D panels I will stay with what I have. Thank you for answering my question.
  17. I go all the way back to the Sublogic Sim. So am I right in assuming there are only virtual cockpits in this new sim? To be honest I hate them. If there aren't any 2D cockpits I will have to pass on this new FS.
  18. I completely agree! I am actually enjoying FS9 with all of it's addons I have. I doubt I'll be buying this new sim. Way to many compromises that I am reading about.
  19. I'm in Texas. I always get charged sales tax with games that I buy. And everything else I buy online too I get charged sales tax.
