    Where is EGY2?

Do you mean like this here? AI Westland Whirlwind and 'Torrey Canyon' disaster at Seven Stones Reef, off Lands End in 1967 Bernard

    Where is EGY2?

You get to the point: jets approaching bombing ranges with lowered gears isn't exactly the yellow of the egg! Bernard
  3. Instant Scenery of Flight1 is one of those scenery creating tools. In some cases it regognize BGL files and allows to remove static objects. It largely depends how the scenery has been built up. Ich hoffe du verstehst englisch, ansonst wird es hier eher schwierig. Bernard
  4. Bruce Kennewell released here a small adventure file related to the "Imperial 109" flight descripted in Richard Doyle's novel. Ovisouly Bruce published the flight as an unfolding story in blog format. His creation was accessible with a link which doesn't works anymore. Therefore my question: has anyone eventually downloaded the file and has still it somewhere in the deepest drawer of his system? I would higly appreciate any advice or information about this matter. Neverthless, I recreated a 1938 Imperial Airways flight from Southampton to Durban wih the Short S.23 'Caterina'. Here at the intermediate landing in Port Bell on Lake Victoria, then the seaplane base of Kampala. Bernard
  5. Seriously, does anyone believe that someone could still make copyright claims after eighteen years? And this for a product that is now absolutely outdated and isn't supported anymore? Furthermore it would remain a strictly private matter. Bernard
  6. Two other Fiat and Lens' nice Vespa in 'Bella Italia'. Bernard
  7. Capt_Flappers, that might a makeable solution but IMO a bit confusing while managing more then sixteen hundred entries. Therefore I rather would suggest to use a tool like Addit! Pro. Ii's payware but definitely worth the money. Clicking on squares would certainly be easier than rename the scenery.cfg entries with 'FALSE' and 'TRUE'. Of course, everybody has its own system, and I respect any other suggestions. Bernard
  8. Glad to hear! Sometimes it isn't necessary to search too far. Bernard
  9. Good luck. I cross my fingers anyway! Actually I'm doing the same thing for an other issue reason ... Bernard
  10. I'm still working with IS. As you know, with its interface it's a real WYSIWYG tool. Version 3 is just an update. . Bernard
  11. Eventually you should try to deactivate ALL sceneries and reactivate them step by step. Best would be to safe the location, where the OOM occured. It's a hard work, I agree. With a scenery tool like 'FS Scenery Manager' or 'Addit Pro!' it could be done much easier. In such cases I usually reactivate the sceneries by packages of several dozen entries at once. Bernard
  12. What if the OOM just was caused by an AI aircraft or a scenery incompability? FS does'nt have a large number of ebalorated error messages! Bernard
  13. It never won't be wrong, to install a basic FS9 and and rename it afterwards. Proceeding this way all needed registries are done correctly. Furthermore it's never useless to have a correct running FS somewhere and at least rely on original files if needed. Bernard
  14. Curiously several AI GA packages available here, include default DC-3 in their flightplans. So how do they work? As GA or as airliners? Bernard
  15. You might reduced the percentage generating AI GA flights. But doing this way, you will reduce ALL GA flight, irrespective of whether they are Tri-Motors or not. I rather would suggest to deactivate those flights in the flightplans. Especially the flights which takes six or more hours. I proceeded this way and reduced GA flights down to thirty percent, and there are still enough planes. Bernard
  16. Yes, and in reality it looks like somehow between:( Bernard
  17. By pure curiosity I checked how KGWS looks like in my FS9. It might be slightly different as descripted below. Don't compare the colors. These result while using a certain configuration of SweetFx. Therefore just be fixed on autogen differences. Bernard
  18. Sorry, but my friend 'syldair' reports me that he isn't able to post any replies, Those have first to be approved by the board .... I wasn't aware that here are obvisouly some methods known from former KGB ...! Such behaviour won't encourage the community.
  19. That's a good solution. I share different scenery.cfg not for specific areas, but for different time perionds. Called for example 'scenery 1935', 'scenery 1947' and so on. These configuration files activated the suitable sceneries of the time period chosen. It just needs to rename 'scenery x.cfg' in shortly 'scenery.cfg'. The less sceneries have to be loaded, the faster FS9 will start. The priority isn't indeed important. With one exception: Object placement files like Instant Scenery should always be at the top. Otherwise objects wouldn't be shown. Bernard
  20. Thanks for your tips. I installed Nick's Lightfix, but it doesn't changes anything. Bernard
  21. I suppose you are talking about runway 18/36. Are you sure that this runway is already in use? No pictures of the new airport show it. Anyway, its rather a complex airport. To add it would basically be possible, but still tricky. The Afcad shows more future connecting taxiways than the layout. Bernard
  22. Does anyone knows, how the red beaconlight of this C-54 FSBD could either be reduced or eventually removed? These are the light figures in its aircraft.cfg: [lights] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0=2, -6.8, -58.50, 6.35, fx_strobe , light.1=2, -6.8, 58.50, 6.35, fx_strobe , light.2=2, -64.50, 0.00, 3.00, fx_strobe , light.3=1, -54.50, 0.00, 21.75, fx_beacon , Thanks for any advice. Bernard
  23. @nbata1234: You really would like to see such lousy airplanes in your FS9? Even FS98 did it better ... And half a dozen AI at LSZH on Saturday noon, that's all. Bernard
  24. Yes, that's what a I feared. The MYT aircraft are absolutely awful. So if the author wants to have a retro traffic out of the Sixties, i strongly recommand to install CalClassic. This package is one of the most extensive and diversified traffic available for FS9. I think the author certainly could live with the fact, that CalClassic traffic is based on 1962 schedules instead of fancy 1965 like MYT. Furthermore it would allow to use tools like Traffic Toolbox or Traffic View Board, which is impossible with MYT. Bernard
  25. Is this the version done by Burkhard Renk? I couldn't found anything about your traffic tool. Bernard
