    Any chance this is happening after using active pause? I've been flying this plane exclusively and not seen that happen, on short or long flights. Anything specific happen before this event?

    That is one of my favorite areas. A valley with mountains on either side, Mt Whitney lurking in the background, Mono Lake and the gateway to Yosemite. We love camping at Onion Valley, way up in the mountains west of Independence. As far as the weather goes in that region, it does not play. If it's not good visibility I probably avoid it until it clears. Recently I was flying with real world weather set, but switched it down to scattered so I could enjoy the scenery.

    I'd probably do the same if I had an x-box controller, as the joystick hatswitch can be cumbersome at times.

    It's waiting on you to enter a suggested keyboard or joystick command. I'm not in front of my computer, but it's waiting on a specific input that is suggested somewhere in the lesson.

    I've had more CTD's in the last week than the last few months. Not the end of the world, but it's annoying as you have no warning sometimes. The only thing I did different (as everything is stock) is change my cache size to 16 instead of 8 in the sim settings. Who knows.

    Try going into settings/assistance/piloting and there are settings about landing assistance if I remember right. If the general setting is easy, I think landing assistance is on maybe? Once I switched settings to hard, I could land easier.

    Indeed! I referred to charts on this one even with daylight so I was on point with the correct elevations at the waypoints. :D

    Enjoying the level of detail/description being shared about adventures! Had an enjoyable flight from 2O3 Angwin to KRBG Roseburg. Both are areas I used to frequent with fond memories. Angwin is almost 2000 ft up on a hill in Norcal's wine country. I highly recommend looking it up at dusk or dawn.

    I too look forward to more realistic airline representation in the sim. I'd imagine someone will do it and it will take time.

    Mt. Shasta Roseburg Speedway and County Fairgrounds. Hwy 99 underneath, and Interstate 5 off the left wing. Typical Oregon weather.
