I know this tech guy is a Racing game developper Obviously at high frames (specially in racing) you need your steering wheel to be very sensitive and fast response. But at 30fps or lower say 10fps its not that responses are slower, its that frames are swallowed, deleted, so when you move the joy nothing happens until a second later, when one of the ten remaining frames comes into action.

Like, "how are you today" "Im fine Sir" (instead of your name which would be non formal) You could declare an energency and she gives straight vectors to the nearest airport Tell you the weather for any place you ask They could get a copy of the Cortana knowledge base (which they own) and customize her specifically for aviation turning her into an ATC controller, instead of searching the web, she would analise your position and logical responses according to what you want to do.

Because they are aiming at high frequency monitors. 133hz , perhaps? People with high frames today either have their resolution at 1080 when the sim is ready for 4k and/or low frequ monitors The day will come the standar will be 4k and high monitors and then you will have only 30fps and inputs will be realistic. Usually developpers at Asobo have the highest PC techs because they are looking at the mid term future

I think theres is something wrong with your Windows 10 or processes eating up resources. I have a much lower system than you and get no stutters (just a few on the beginning while internet loads the firsts maps, frames at 30, HIGH end settings for all. Check aldo your latest nvidia and install Nvidia Experience i5 3600 16gb ram GTX 1060 3gb

Even if i had to fly just the Cessna 152 forever, no other plane available, I still would keep MSFS2020 and never go back to the other sims. And we know there is much more to come, we are in day 2 MS will release patches without you even noticing, since the sim is updated every time you start I am concentrating in learning the new features, testing...and always checking the forums to read tips or findings, unfortunaltely the majority are complaints. If the sim is not approved by you, so far, you can go back to fsx/p3d/xplane and be active in their forums, I uninstalled them And have no regrets

A simulator is a software or hardware that imitates as much as possible the real thing A game is something that has one button to solve the puzzle or game By MS adding the Auto-Control, plus auto-land and auto-takeoff fot the sake of toddlers in Xbox...is for simmers, disapointing Its not simple as "dont use the feature" if the auto-everything is there it takes out a lot deal of the immersion I hope in future they will release a "Pro" version of the sim that could have no tips, no auto-flying with just one button and "easy flying" modes Some of you (if I dont say this) will counter: "But real planes have auto-land, etc" How naive. Yes. But you know why when a pilot has the runway in sight or vfr he prefers to land it manually? Because "auto-land" is not what it seems to the general public Actually auto-land is VERY complicated, requiring a lot of previous work, settings and programming. Same thing as FMC auto take off and route So people have the wrong idea that auto-land is just pressing a button. No, actually its easier to manually land the plane, provided you have the skills By having a One button auto-complete mission, will back-fire in the intent to please young xbox kids into controlling a 747 IMHO
