FSX F-8 Bearcat N7825C. This is Alpha Bleu Ciel's Grumman F-8 Bearcat updated for FSX. This Bearcat is painted as N7825C originally wore US Navy BuNo 122674. Its Grumman construction number is D.1227. It was built in 1948. E. Weiner of Los Angeles registered it under its current tail number in 1958. It was bought by Leo Demeers in 1963. Richard Tobey acquired it in 1966 and then sold it to Paul Finefrock in 1969. Gary Levitz picked it up later that year. It has belonged to the Confederate Air Force since 1972. It underwent a major rebuild from 1989 to 1991. It made its first flight after the rebuild on December 17, 1991. Package includes pictures and history of actual aircraft. FSX Spitfire MK19 Seagreen. This is A.F. Scrub's FSX Spitfire Pr XIX repainted in a sea green. The Spitfire Pr XIX was the last Spitfire to be used in operational service. It was the first of the Griffon-engined photo recco versions to enter large scale production. Based on the Mk XIV airframe and the 2375 hp Rolls Royce Griffon 65 or 66 engine with a Rotol five bladed propellor giving it a maximum speed of 452 mph. Painted in a low vis sea green, with new flight dynamics and textures by Mark Rooks.

This aircraft was flown by Captain Ray Wetmore, highest scoring ace of the 370th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group, based at East Wretham in Norfolk, England. FSX Scotts Old Exterminator P-40. This is Robert Hawk's Curtiss P-40 Warhawk modified For Flight Simulator X. This is Brig. Gen. Scott's aircraft. He flew with the famed AVC Flying Tigers as a fighter pilot working with the American Volunteer Group in China during WWII under General Claire Lee Chennault. Robert L. Scott shot down 22 Japanese aircraft. Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott (ret.) worked and mingled with visitors to the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, Georgia, This aircraft has a new panel and new flight dynamics. FSX Hawk's Wildcat. This is Robert Hawk's FS2004 Grumman Wildcat modified for FSX. The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service with both the United States Navy and the British Royal Navy (as the Martlet) in 1940. Although first used in combat by the British in Europe, the Wildcat was the only United States Navy or Marine fighter in World War II 1941-42 in the Pacific Theater besides the brief appearance of the F2A Buffalo. With a top speed of 318 mph (512 km/h), the Wildcat was outperformed by the more nimble 331 mph (533 km/h) Mitsubishi Zero, but its ruggedness and tactics such as the Thach Weave resulted in an air combat kill-to-loss ratio of 5.9:1 in 1942 and 6.9:1 for the entire war. FSX Luftwaffe DFS-230 Assault Glider.
Originally created by Manuele Villa (no VC). Textures for all five gliders in the original package (types A, B & C) updated for FSX in the dds format by Henry Rastouil (2) and Ross McLennan (3). This German assault glider, developed by Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug (DFS)/ German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight, was used for the first time during the operation against the Belgian Fort Eben-Emael near Maastricht (May 10, 1940). They were also used during the Krete invasion (Maleme, 1941), in the Western Desert and on the Russian Front for transport purposes. Were used to deliver Otto Skorzeny's commandos against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel to rescue the imprisoned Mussolini (Sept 12, 1943). The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received almost 20 DFS 230's, but they were used only for training. This updated FSX package also includes a JU52 military version from the JU52 Factory (Managing Director: Pierino Primavesi) as the AI tow aircraft updated for FSX. Flights to replicate the attack on Fort Eben-Emael. In support a brief history of Fort Eben-Emael and Grand Sasso (Operation Oak) attacks. Support is given by Ross McLennan only.

This is a repaint of the payware A2A Simulations P-51 Mustang in the livery of the 23rd Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, Republic of China (Taiwan) Air Force, in 1954. The aircraft depicted, named after the Province of Taiwan, was one of 12 Mustangs ostensibly procured with funds from the "One Dollar Aircraft Presentation" donation campaign to celebrate Chiang Kai-Shek's 2nd of 5th inaugurations as the ROC President. FSX USMC Grumman JRF-1A VMS-3 1939. This a repaint of the default Grumman G-21 as a US Marines JRF-1A assigned to VMS-3, St. Thomas USVI. This aircraft is at it would have looked in the colorful prewar era circa 1939. Compiled as a whole aircraft as it was necessary to modify some textures for the virtual panel to have a more authentic feeling cockpit with gauges from the default DC-3 as well as some newly manufactured. With the new "old " cockpit you get the autopilot and radio stack from the DC-3 as well as the gyro compass and ahi. Includes a new fuel quantity gauge as well as a new fuel flow gauge. Also includes a power settings placard gauge, located just below the autopilot in the VC. Click anywhere on it and a new placard appears with the appropriate power settings. By John Detrick.
