  2. FSX Gloster Pioneer

FSX Gloster Pioneer. The Gloster E.28/39, (also referred to as the Gloster Whittle, Gloster Pioneer, or Gloster G.40) was the first British jet-engined aircraft to fly, in 1941. It was the third successful jet to fly after the German Heinkel He 178 (1939) and the Italian Caproni Campini N.1 (1940). This is an FSX update for the FS 2002/2004 Gloster Pioneer. It features FSX compatible gauges for both the VC and 2D panel. Correct smoke and effect added. Original model and textures by Felipe Belalcazar and Tony Marinac, basic panel design by Warren Wright. All FSX updates by Michael Pook. Not known if the model functions in FS2004 and P3D/3 as well but it very likely will.

  13. FSX 1946 Navy Flight Demo Team F6F-5 Hellcat

FSX 1946 Navy Flight Demo Team F6F-5 Hellcat. The Blue Angels is the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron, with aviators from the Navy and Marines. They debuted in 15 June 1946 under Lieutenant Commander Roy Marlin "Butch" Voris, a World War II fighter ace. He had assembled and trained a flight demonstration team, as Officer-in-Charge and Flight Leader. Voris selected three fellow instructors to join him (Lt. Maurice "Wick" Wickendoll, Lt. Mel Cassidy, and Lt. Cmdr. Lloyd Barnard, veterans of the War in the Pacific), and they spent countless hours developing their show. Lt Cmdr. Voris led a trio of Grumman F6F-5 Hellcats, specially modified to reduce weight in standard sea blue but with gold leaf trim, through their inaugural 15-minute-long performance at their home base, NAS Jacksonville. These are accurately colored and marked F6F-5 textures for the Vertigo Studios, F6F collection. By Mark Powell.

  14. FSX Douglas Dauntless With Enhanced Panels

FSX Douglas Dauntless With Enhanced Panels. The Douglas SBD Dauntless was a World War II American naval scout plane and dive bomber that was manufactured by Douglas Aircraft from 1940 through 1944. The SBD ("Scout Bomber Douglas") was the United States Navy's main carrier-borne scout plane and dive bomber from mid-1940 through mid-1944. The SBD is best remembered as the bomber that delivered the fatal blows to the Japanese carriers at the Battle of Midway in June 1942. This is an FSX update for the Dauntless SBD-3, originally designed for FS2004 by the late Paul Clawson. It combines the original model and an earliar panel update by Erwin Welker. This package features a modified VC with e few more gauges added and an enhanced and more realistic appearance. Both the VC and 2D panel are based upon Pierre Langer's photo-realistic panel designs. Credits go to Paul Clawson for the original model, to Pierre Langer for the original panel design and the Dauntless gauges as well as to Erwin Welker for his panel modifications, extra camera views including rear gunner view. New enhanced VC and gauge configuration by Michael Pook.

  15. FSX Consolidated PB2Y Updated

FSX Consolidated PB2Y Updated. The Coronado was the only four engine patrol bomber in US Navy service at the outbreak of WW2. It served very well with its 5000 mile patrol range. Over 200 were produced and it served into 1942 when it was gradually replaced with the Martin Mariner. This is an FSX panel update for the Consolidated PB2Y Coronado Flying Boat by the late Paul Clawson. It features both an entirely new VC and 2D panel. The contact points have been corrected and smoke is incuded now as well. Thanks to Paul Clawson for the original model. All FSX updates by Michael Pook.

  16. FSX North American O-47 Updated

FSX North American O-47 Updated with new enhanced panels. The NAA O47 was a three crew member observation plane developed in the late 1930's. It had many windows for use with the huge Fairchild camera of those days. This role quickly changed to a fast unarmed aircraft for most of WW2. Most of the O-47's were assigned to ANG units and served in many training roles. This is an FSX update of the aircraft with both a new VC and 2D panel. Original model by the late Paul Clawson and the great sound by "Elmo's FSX SoundSets", panel updates and smoke configuration by Michael Pook.

  17. FSX Me-109Z (Zwilling/Twin) Updated

FSX Me-109Z (Zwilling/Twin) Updated. The Messerschmitt development department received a directive in 1942 to begin work on a Zerstorer (destroyer, or heavy fighter). An earlier RLM directive of 1941 had tried to limit the amount of new designs coming from the major aircraft companies (to not disrupt the production lines with new aircraft), so it was decided to couple two Bf 109 fuselages together, along with a new center wing and tailplane section, to come up with the Me 109Z (Zwilling, or twin). A prototype was completed in early 1943, but it was damaged in an Allied air attack on the Messerschmitt test center, and the damage was deemed too severe for repair. The development was abandoned in 1944, and by then, the Me 262 jet fighter had taken wing. This is an update for the Me-109 Zwilling, recently converted for FSX by Eric Hertzberger. Its focus lies upon an improved and more realistic looking VC and interior, but I also added wing and vc lights, improved the FDE and added smoke effect as well as new thumbnails. Gauges are all authentic German in both the VC and 2D panel. This is the whole package for easy installation. Credits go to Daisuke Iga,Kazunari Shinada and Kawauso Hermitage for the original CF2 model and to Eric Hertzberger for his FSX conversion. All new updates by Michael Pook.

The package features the two different models and two different liveries with functioning VC and now FSX compatible gauges. I've added camera views for the VC and the right cockpit of the Zwilling as well as smoke effect for all engines. I've also corrected the contact points and slightly improved the FDE. The gauges are all authentic German. All credits go to Kazunori Ito for the magnificent original models and to the unknown designer of the great German gauges. All FSX updates ny Michael Pook. The models may work in FS2004. By Michael Pook.

  20. FSX Romanian Air Force BF-109-E3 Texture Correction

FSX Romanian Air Force BF-109-E3 Texture Correction. When I uploaded A2A-BF-109-E3-ROAF.ZIP I had left off a rather critical layer from the texture file - the panel lines, which shows up most as the carburetor intake not having the louvered face, just solid yellow. This texture file corrects this. Just drop it into the folder texture.RoAF and overwrite to correct. Sorry for the inconvenience and happy flying. By Mark Powell.

  21. FSX Romanian Air Force BF-109-E3

FSX Romanian Air Force BF-109-E3. In the early days of WW2, Romania was still maintaining its neutrality, and while buying aircraft from Britain, also purchased early BF-109's from Germany. Their rather striking red, yellow and blue nationality markings as well as squadron badges based on Disney characters make these aircraft a colorful addition to the 109 stable. This is a texture file only, for the payware A2A "World War II Fighters" BF-109-E3. It was made using A2A's paint kit, and represents a plane of Grupul 7 Vanatoare. By Mark Powell. 24. FSX P-51D Mustang "The Shark" G-SHWN

FSX P-51D Mustang "The Shark" G-SHWN. This is a repaint for the payware Warbirdsim P-51D "Mustang Tales" product. This repaint depicts the restored P-51D 44-73877, registered in the UK as G-SHWN, owned by Shaun Patrick and which is flown under loan to the Boultbee Flight Academy and Norwegian Spitfire Foundation. Based at Chichester/Goodwood Airport, the aircraft is painted in the authentic markings of an RAF 112 Squadron Mustang Mk.IVa (P-51K), KH774, which in 1945 was based at Cervia, Italy. The original aircraft was piloted by a Lt. Blanchford, flying ground-attack missions over the Balkans and along the Adriatic coast. This aircraft has previously been owned/operated for many years by the Scandinavian Historic Flight (prior paint schemes included "Detroit Miss" and "Old Crow", among others). This aircraft can be seen in the 1990 movie "Memphis Belle", painted as "Cisco", and the 2012 movie "Red Tails". New bump maps and modified cockpit textures included. By John Terrell.

  25. FSX P-51D Mustang "Miss Helen" G-BIXL V2

FSX P-51D Mustang "Miss Helen" G-BIXL V2. This is a repaint for the payware Warbirdsim P-51D "Mustang Tales" product. This is a new and vastly improved/updated version of my previous repaint, depicting the restored P-51D 44-72216, owned by Robert Tyrrell, based at Chichester/Goodwood Airport, England and operated with the Boultbee Flight Academy. The aircraft is painted in its original WWII markings as "Miss Helen", which was originally assigned to the 487th FS, 352nd FG, 8th AF, piloted by Capt. Raymond Littge. After WWII, the aircraft saw service in the Swedish AF and Israeli AF, eventually being purchased and brought out of Israel by Robs Lamplough in 1976. Following restoration, the aircraft first flew again in 1987 and can be seen in the 1990 movie "Memphis Belle", painted as "Miss L". This repaint is stand-alone and does not require my previous version to be installed. New bump maps and modified cockpit textures included. By John Terrell.
