  1. FSX FA-18 Hornet Update

FSX FA-18 Hornet Update. This is my second update for FSX of the default McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. It includes everything that was in the first update. I recently noticed that the aircraft would not hold speed, within reason, while descending; and would not hold a steady speed at low altitude when on autopilot. This is now corrected; I made a few other changes to the flight dynamics. What was done before: I added a 2D panel and left the VC panel as workable as before. I have redone the flight dynamics, and added the 4th wheel. Included is a carrier tutorial, because the 2D panel is not visually compatible with the original tutorial. BECAUSE THIS IS A DEFAULT AIRCRAFT, BACK UP YOUR HORNET AIR AND AIRCRAFT.CFG FILES AS WELL AS THE PANEL FOLDER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO APPLY THIS UPDATE. By Bob Chicilo.

The HUD could not be placed correctly on the VC. I updated the F86 flight dynamics and added a center tank to the aircraft.cfg file. This is the whole aircraft. By Bob Chicilo.

  3. FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American F-86H Sabre

FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American F-86H Sabre. The North American F86 Sabre was without question one of the greatest fighter aircraft of all time. Development of a purely fighter-bomber version of the Sabre was initiated by North American Aviation on March 16, 1951 as the F-86 H. After withdrawal from ANG service, F-86H aircraft with the lowest air time were turned over to the Navy. The Navy used them both as target drones and as MiG simulators for TOP GUN aggressor training. The F-86H had a similar size, shape, and performance as the MiG-17 fighter then being encountered over North Vietnam, and many a Navy F-4 pilot was "killed" by a F-86H Sabre during these mock battles. FSX/P3Dv3,v4 model by A.F. Scrub.

FSX Sepecat Jaguar Set Updated. The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British-French jet attack aircraft originally used by the British Royal Air Force and the French Air Force in the close air support and nuclear strike role. It is still in service in significantly upgraded form with the Indian Air Force. These are the two original Alphasim ex-payware packs updated for FSX only, compiled in one package featuring 12 model variants with different weapon payloads. This package features a modified virtual cockpit configuration with FSX compatible gauges in the VC and 2D panel. Automatic afterburner and smoke effect included. The model only works in FSX/ FSX acceleration, not in FS2004 or P3D. Compilation and new panel configuration as well as effects configuration by Michael Pook. All credits go to Alphasim for the original FS2004 models.

  21. FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American F-86F Sabre

FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American F-86F Sabre. The North American F-86 F Sabre was the most capable western fighter of the early to mid-1950s. This swept wing, single engine jet was the most important western aircraft of the Korean War and often tangled with Russian-made MiG-15s over the infamous “MiG Alleyâ€. It was a hard struggle not only for the Korean sky, but also between two excellent aircraft builders of the East and West. In addition to its primary role as an air-to-air fighter, the Sabre could also carry bombs and air-to-ground rockets to attack ground targets. FSX/Prepar3D v3,v4 model by A.F. Scrub. 22. FSX Update Of North American F-100 Sabre

FSX Update Of North American F-100 Sabre. This is an update for FSX of the North American Aviation F100 Sabre by Capt. I. D'Attomo. I updated the flight dynamics; changed some of the gauges on the 2D panel; changed the afterburner effect and changed the smoke effect; added the external tanks to the fuel section; and fixed the problem with the plane gaining speed while descending on autopilot. I also got rid of the afterburner effects gauge as it was interfering with the autopilot. There is a VC but I am unsure if it is flyable. This is the whole aircraft. By Bob Chicilo.

  23. FSX/P3D MEFT Typhoon V2.0 Update Pack

FSX/P3D MEFT Typhoon V2.0 Update Pack. This update includes the following updates, changes and missing bmp-files on the current V2.0 version. 1. A major re-work on the Head Up Display (HUD) gauge has been done. Mainly for the landing approach the horizontal center line is correct lined up with the real horizon and the velocity symbol along with the localizer and glide slope points precise to the touch down position of the runway. In connection with this re-work some small changes on the EFVC model, on the panel.cfg, and on the aircraft.cfg were required also. Note: This new VCHUD gauge may NOT work correct on the latest P3D version. 2. A major re-work on the 2D HUD display has been done. Only the HUD graphical presentation is now being displayed. 3. Missing effects and texture files for missile contrails have been updated. 4. Missing effect display for the 50% throttle power has been updated. By Dietmar Loleit.

  24. FSX/P3D V3 Bell P-59 Airacomet Updated

FSX/P3D V3 Bell P-59 Airacomet Updated. The Bell P59 Airacomet was a twin jet-engined fighter aircraft, the first produced in the United States, designed and built by Bell Aircraft during World War II. The United States Army Air Forces were not impressed by its performance and cancelled the contract when fewer than half of the aircraft ordered had been produced. Although no P-59s entered combat, the fighter paved the way for another design generation of U.S. turbojet-powered aircraft, and was the first turbojet fighter to have its turbojet engine and air inlet nacelles integrated within the main fuselage. This an FSX update of the Kazunori Ito model and my previous FSX update featuring completetely revised panels, interior and virtual cockpit. The focus of this update lies upon the highly authentic look of VC and 2D panel. The panels have been designed according to internet images of the real panel. Thanks to Kazunori Ito for the original model. The model very likely will work in Prepar3D version3 as well. New panel design and gauge configuration by Michael Pook.

  25. FSX/P3D v3 Rockwell-Messerschmitt X31 Updated

FSX/P3D v3 Rockwell-Messerschmitt X31 Updated. The Rockwell-Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm X-31 was an experimental jet fighter designed to test fighter thrust vectoring technology. It was designed and built by Rockwell and Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm (MBB), as part of a joint US and German Enhanced Fighter Maneuverability program to provide additional control authority in pitch and yaw, for significantly more maneuverability than most conventional fighters. An advanced flight control system provided controlled flight at high angles of attack where conventional aircraft would stall or lose control. Two aircraft were built, of which only one has survived. This is an FSX update for the X-31 featuring a dramatically improved VC and a new 2D panel. I've tried to create both panels as closely to the real panel as possible. Automatic exhaust smoke and afterburner effect added. Thanks and credits go to Capt. I. D'Attomo for the original model. New panels and some other improvements by Michael Pook.
