FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley V1A. The Blackburn Beverley was a four-engined, medium-range high-capacity transport. Its first flight took place in June 1953 and a total of forty-seven aircraft were built. The Beverley had an outstanding ability for packing and dropping heavy loads of up to 22 tons and, aided by powerful propeller reversing and a sturdy fixed undercarriage, it was able to land and take off at small and makeshift airstrips. Employed on a wide variety of military and humanitarian missions, for the ten years of its active service it was the RAF's proverbial no-nonsense workhorse. To date, only the first production Beverley survives as a museum piece. The model comes with an ILS and GCA capable VC, variable intensity cockpit lighting, and propeller reversing. Two textures are included, XB261 representing a fictional reincarnation of the third production aircraft, and XM109 as painted in the 'Middle East' camouflage scheme of the final batch. FSX Saunders - Roe SR-53 Experimental Plane v2. The Saunders-Roe SR53 was an experimental fighter that made its maiden flight on May 16th 1957. It was propelled by a combination of a jet engine and a rocket motor. The prototype plane can be seen at the RAF Museum Cosford. Michael Pook has given the model a wonderful panel and added the necessary gauges and effects. Thank you very much for that! FSX Panel Update For Saunders Roe SR-53. This is a panel update for the Saunders Roe SR53 (SAUNDERS-ROE_SR-53.ZIP), designed and posted by Hubert Mueller. It's a great model but definitely deserves better panels. So here is a panel update including all the required gauges as well as automatic exhaust and afterburner effects. As the designer didn't include an E-mail address I couldn't ask his permission but I trust he won't mind me posting the entire package without it - it's always easier for users to get a whole package instead of having to install bits and pieces into an existing package. So this is the whole aircraft. I didn't change anything in the aircraft's look, just the panels and added effects. Thanks to Hubert Mueller for his nice model. FSX Update For The Douglas A2D Skyshark. The A2D-1 was developed as a turboprop replacement for the iconic AD Skyraider series in the late 1940s. It was somewhat larger, faster and could carry a heavier weapons load. Unfortunately, the Allison T-40 series turboprop ran into many development delays mostly regarding reliability of the gear box which prevented the Sky Shark from being ordered into full production. It was the end of the line for prop driven attack aircraft for the US Navy. This is a major panel update for my previous FSX update to make the interior and panel look a lot more realistic. In addition to the three original textures by Paul Clawson there are two new "what-if" repaints based on textures by Juan Anotnio Martinez Castro, which he had designed for the FS2002 model by Kazunori Ito. The package also features exhaust smoke, better props and better reticule. Original native FSX model by Paul Clawson and 2D panel by Kazunori Ito. FSX Update Of The Alphasim HP Victor. This is an update of the Alphasim Handley Page Victor for FSX. I have added all the wheels; given it a 2D panel; I decreased the width of the left window strut on the 2D panel, so you have a bit better view to the left; added a HUD to the VC; corrected the contact points; and updated the flight dynamics. It has the range it is supposed to, and cruises at mach 0.96. I did a previous update of the aircraft, but I believe it was the one made for FS2004 not the one made for FSX. FSX Boulton Paul P.120. Boulton Paul P120 'the Black Widow Maker' British experimental high-speed delta-wing research and test aircraft. An advanced version of the previous P.111. The P.120 first flight was on 6th August 1952 and the last flight was on 29th August 1952 which resulted in the loss of the aircraft! The redesigned tail added extra weight to the P.120 and made it slightly sluggish compared to the lighter P.111. As test pilot A.E. 'Ben' Gunn found on his first flight, positive trimming of the delta tailplane is required to reduce the take-off run!
