  1. I gained 60 hours to my logbook total during the SU11 update - Absolutely no idea why. I've also noticed that some of the flights I've done since do not show the entire time of the flight. I mentioned this on another forum and a couple of others had noticed the issue though not too many and nobody seems to have provided any reasons.
  2. When I looked into this, I couldn't find a way to open and close spoilers incrementally using the keypad, but I believe that it is possible to assign the spoilers to the throttle axis of a second joystick. It may also be possible to do this with an x box controller as well, though I have not investigated that. People sometimes get flaps and spoilers confused. Flaps can be fully up or down using F5 and F8 or moved incrementally using F6 and F7. Flaps increase lift and drag allowing the aircraft to be flown more slowly because of the increased wing area whereas spoilers are used to slow the plane down by increasing drag over the wings only. The last thing to mention is reverse thrust, which should generally only be used to slow the aircraft down on the runway. You can use these with F2 and F1 or using the throttle control on your joystick if you have a detent set on it (note that there are only a few aircraft that can use reverse thrust in the air).
  3. You could save a copy of your UserCFG.opt file which saves your graphics settings, I believe, but the rest are stored in the cloud. I guess there must be a way that I don't know about, but I have used the screenshot method in the past too.
  4. Don't forget to go to the marketplace and purchase it (free) like I did.
  5. 3 screens might look nice, but ask people running in multi screen what there framerates are. They have to turn the graphics settings down quite a bit even with the best equipment. If the monitors stand on your large desk, then that's fine. The other option would be wall mounts - the ones with arms would probably suit you. What are your CPU and GPU specs?
  6. Don't forget that there are also a number of updates in the content manager and if you want to use dx12 effectively, you will need to download the latest nvidia studio driver as the game ready driver has not been released.
  7. I've always avoided multi monitors because of the massive reduction in fps I expected to result. What experiences are those using them having in this respect?
  8. In most cases I stick with the photogrammetry scenery within msfs, but there are some areas where the photogrammetry from flightsim.to cover larger areas or are better. You had best try it yourself to see which you prefer. Some of the bigger ones can be very heavy on your system, so you may need to turn your LOD down quite a bit (I have to go down from 300 to 100 for some of them).
  9. I'm pretty sure MS servers are not giving us the bandwidth we need from their end. I've followed all the steps in the above link and speedtest is showing me I have a connection running at 45 mbs but London photogrammetry was loading very, very slowly earlier.
  10. The above posts are all giving you the most likely causes, though this did happen to me and turned out to be noise on my Z axis. So if you are using rudder pedals or a twist grip joystick, it's worth a quick check of the sensitivity settings in the controls menu or windows control panel.
  11. The only other yhing I can think of is that the OP is expecting to get a VOR signal whilst on the ground, whereas depending on the terrain, signal strength and weather, you might need to be at a few hundred or even thousand feet before you pick it up. VHF is a line of sight signal as far as I know.
  12. Not quite sure what your problem is. The VOR works the same on the msfs C152 exactly the same as it does in the RW aircraft. You tune the standby nav frequency to the VOR you want to track, hit the button to make it the live frequency and turn the knob on the instrument until the line is in the centre. If you still have a problem, can you explain and I will try to help if I can
  13. I found that setting the time to spring rather than summer and avoiding flying after 11 am helped with this.
  14. I must admit that I didn't use any tutorials when I installed Littlenavmap. It took me a while to work it all out, but I found the interface fairly self explanatory. I experimented with a few things like layers and created a flightplan which has to be exported to msfs, but it exported into the right place. Just have a fiddle and you will be able to work most of it out after a while. There are quite a few features I don't use or need, but it's quite straightforward really. I'm sure that a lot of youtube videos over complicate things a bit by trying to cram too much info into one video.
  15. Looks very nice. I will have to give that one a try. A lot of other lovely airports over at http://www.simvol.org as well. I highly recommend visiting this website and exploring the wonderful scenery France has to offer whilst sipping on a nice Claret or two.
  16. They are s bit quiet for me. I turn the engine sounds down which makes everything else louder.
  17. I looked into this a while back and if I remember correctly, MSFS does not support this. I do remember testing with it both on and off myself and found there to be no difference either way.
  18. Yeah, I think they would benefit from being a little brighter, but they are there.
  19. I found a really nice scenery for Kyiv over at flightsim.to. Some lovely models of beautiful buildings in the city and well worth a quick search over there. It was nice to fly around and get some orientation of the city.
  20. Sim update 8 is now live. Downloaded from the X Box app. In game update is 4.34 GB for me with the premium deluxe edition. Plus 2.93 GB to load from the content manager. Community folder moved and rolling cache deleted prior to downloading.
