  1. Very nice Darryl ! You got all my favorite airliners, Jet Blue, Delta, American and United. Thanks - Rick
  2. Jan - I love the pics of the Connie and the scenery of Chicago is awesome! I know you have spoken a lot about the Connie. I was on YouTube the other night and found a video about a guy who bought President Eisenhower's "Columbine". They didn't reference her with anything presidential, just Columbine. Very interesting, they got all 4 engines running and then were ferrying it back for restoration. Just thought I would mention it! Rick
  3. A beautiful L1011 jetliner in the Northeast airline livery. Making a night cruise, Charleston, SC to Raleigh/Durham, NC . I hope the reduced image still allows a good pic (night pic) of my flight! Rick
  4. Very nice Alex! Pics of aircraft and scenery are crystal clear! Thanks for sharing! Rick
  5. Gerard - Nice pics and aircraft! Those 737's are such a pleasure to fly, very stable and very predictable! Thanks for sharing! Rick
  6. Khalid - This is a very nice looking download, but, it sounds as if it "just wasn't what you expected?" I could be wrong, but that's they way I read your first paragraph! Rick
  7. Monitoring ATIS recording (frequency selected in the Com1/Com2) will let you know well in advance, of the active runway in use at your destination airport. If you find that a different runway is being used, you will have the time to make your changes accordingly! Most of the time things will happen the way you want them to, but occasionally you do have those times where someone has spoiled your desired plans. "It is, what it is!" Same thing may happen on your desired takeoff runway! My favorite airport is Charleston, SC, and I usually anticipate taking off from RWY 33. I pull up ATIS, and I usually find that RWY 33 is in use for takeoff. If I don't pull up ATIS, I stand the chance of ground control clearing me to RWY 3, which is a long way from RWY 33. When that happens, I simply select, "Reset Flight", and then pull up ATIS and then the recording will state that RWY 33 is in use. Another thing that I do like, is airports with parallel runways, ATC may clear you for RWY 5R (non-ILS runway), but, you have planned on landing on 5L (ILS runway). Sometimes FSX will offer you an option of requesting the alternate runway, and they usually will approve the requested change. This is a nice feature, but not always offered! Anyway, we do as we are told, that way we stay out of trouble! We all get through the obstacles we are faced with. Happy flying! Rick
  8. Here's one of my favorite liveries. I, too, have the Howard 500. The all new 350 is out and available for download. I don't know how it could be any better than the 500, but mrzippy seems to think it is. I will stick with the 500. Anyone out there that might be interested, you might want to look at the 350 for downloading. It might be better, I suppose Milton Shupe could also get better with time? He does put out some very nice aircraft! Rick
  9. Wow, Jan, you are really torturing me. First the D-18's, now the Howard 500. These are my favorites for sure! Keep it up, you're posting some great aircraft! Rick

  16. Khalid - That big pod in the middle is probably a fuel tank to feed both those monster engines! Rick
  17. Now, you're talkin Jan! I have the following in my hangar, and I enjoy flying each and every one of them! Don't have this one, though! But, not going to add another to the herd, either! 2 - C45's 10 - D18S 3 - Volpar (Tri gears) Thanks for sharing, great aircraft and great pics! Rick
