  2. /images/notams/notams22/logop30.jpgP-30 is a new project different from what currently exists. The plane hasthe wings reversed in the direction of advance, a technique very difficult tocarry out, because of the enormous stresses on the wings in supersonic mode. But today with composite materials, this has become possible. The 1980sGrumman X-29 (1984 to 1991 for the last flight) was designed to explore thispromising technique. /images/notams/notams21/pizz0708/p30-1.jpgIt's been 40 years already. The plane was a success, but I do not know the reasons for itsabandonment. The X-29 clearly inspired this P30. This is the reason why itsname is: Northrop Grumman P30. The Sukhoi SU-47 uses the same principles, but later, in 1997. thatairplane also was abandoned. For the pleasure of making and flying this P-30 aircraft, it is alsovertical takeoff, with orientable thrust vectors. /images/notams/notams21/pizz0708/p30-2.jpgFeaturesFMODFully animated 3D exterior model:GearFlapsFlight controlsThrust vectorsEasy transitions between vertical and conventional flight modesWeapon bay door opening matches selected weaponFully animated 3D interior cockpit model:Stick, throttle, rudder pedals, switchesEjection seatMultiple liveries available on the X-Plane.org freeware download managerSASL plug-in driven avionics and automated systemsDefault auto tilt, auto trim and auto flap control options can be switched off for full manual control if desiredFlight manualTexture 4K1 modelsNav light selectionGarmin 1000Pilot automaticEngine systemsComplete NAV system /images/notams/notams21/pizz0708/p30-3.jpg /images/notams/notams22/logop30.jpgOptimized for X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 Purchase pizzagalli.ch - Northrop Grumman P-30 For X-Plane See other pizzagalli.ch aircraft
  3. /images/notams/notams22/canx1017.jpgAustralia, the largest country of the continent of Oceania, is also one of the flattest and driest countries in the world. That doesn't mean it's devoid of life or interesting places. On the contrary, the country is full of wonders, from the grasslands of the southwest, to the savanna in the north, the rainforests of the east and the world-renowned Outback, Australia is full of things to discover. Small aircraft are an essential mode of transportation in and out of many parts of the country and for remote communities, a critical lifeline for medical aid (flying doctor) flights. Outside of the major cities, many airports are unprepared grass, gravel, dirt or sand strips. Some airports do not have fuel or navigational aids and our tour will reflect this. The Canadian Xpress® Australian Adventure Tour consists of 66 legs which must be flown in order. Departing from the Tasmanian capital of Hobart, you will visit some of Australia's most famous natural wonders, including Ayers Rock (Uluru), Kangaroo Island, Tasmania, Sydney Harbour, the Gold Coast and the Great Barrier Reef. Through out the tour, you will visit all eight capitals and every biome and region the country has to offer, including some of the most remote airports in the world (so plan your fuel accordingly), finally landing in the nation's capital of Canberra. All Canadian Xpress® pilots that successfully complete the tour will receive 25 bonus hours as well as the Canadian Xpress® Australian Adventure Tour Award that will appear in their Pilot Details section of the Pilot Roster. To view the current statistics for the Canadian Xpress® Australian Adventure Tour Award, click the Statistics link that is available via the Operations menu. 6. /images/notams/notams22/f19update.jpgF-19 is the designation for a hypothetical US fighter aircraft thathas never been officially acknowledged, and has engendered muchspeculation that it might refer to a type of aircraft whose existenceis still classified. Since the unification of the numbering system in 1962,U.S. fighters have been designated by consecutive numbers, beginningwith the F-1 Fury. F-13 was never assigned to a fighter due totriskaidekaphobia, though the designation had previously been used fora reconnaissance version of the B-29. After the F/A-18 Hornet, thenext announced aircraft was the YF-20 Tigershark. The USAF proposedthe F-19 designation for the fighter, but Northrop requested the"F-20" instead. The USAF finally approved the F-20 designation in1982. The truth behind this jump in numbers is Northrop pressed thedesignation "YF-20" as they wanted an even number, in order to standout from the Soviet odd-numbered designations. Despite this, thedesignations YF-17 and YF-23 were not skipped (although YF-20, YF-17and YF-23 all were prototypes and did not enter production phase). /images/notams/notams21/pizz1108/f19-2.jpgThe United States received the first Lockheed F-117 stealth fighterin 1982. During the decade many news articles discussed what theycalled the "F-19". The Testor Corporation produced a F-19 scalemodel. The company had decades of experience in producing highlydetailed models that pilots and aerospace engineers purchased, andused its sources in the United States military and defensecontractors. The CBS Evening News with Dan Rather and other mediadiscussed the model after its January 1986 introduction; when the realstealth aircraft crashed in California in July 1986, news stories usedthe model to depict it. Representative Ron Wyden asked the chairman of Lockheed Corporationwhy an aircraft that Congressmen could not see was sold as modelaircraft. The publicity helped to make the model the best-sellingmodel aircraft of all time, but it did not really resemble the F-117,which no doubt pleased those working with the real, secretaircraft. The F-117 designation was publicly revealed with the actualaircraft in November 1988. /images/notams/notams21/pizz1108/f19-3.jpgFeaturesFmodFully animated 3D exterior model with gear, flaps, flight controlsWeapon bay door opening matches selected weaponFully animated 3D interior cockpit model: with stick, throttle, rudder pedals, switchesEjection seatMultiple liveries available separatelySASL plug-in driven avionics and automated systemsDefault auto flap control options can be switched off for full manual control if desiredUser flight manual4K textures1 modelNav light selectionGarmin 1000Pilot automaticEngine systemsComplete NAV systemOptimized for XP11 and XP12 /images/notams/notams21/pizz1108/f19-4.jpgPurchase pizzagalli.ch - Northrop Grumman F19 Stealth For X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 See other pizzagalli.ch aircraft for X-Plane

  8. /images/notams/notams22/prskdal.jpgDallas Love Field (IATA: DAL, ICAO: KDAL, FAA LID: DAL) is a city-owned public airport 6 miles (9.7 km) northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas. It was Dallas’ main airport until 1974 when Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) opened. Love Field covers an area of 1,300 acres (530 ha) at an elevation of 487 feet (148 m) above mean sea level and has two runways. Love Field is the birthplace, corporate headquarters, and a major operating base of Southwest Airlines; as of August 2021, Southwest has a 95% market share at the airport. Several full-service fixed-base operators (FBOs) provide general aviation services: fuel, maintenance, hangar rentals, and air charters. The City of Dallas Department of Aviation headquarters is on the grounds of the airport. KDAL presents an ideal subject airport for the sim enthusiast as it presents a good blend of airport size (not needing excessive taxi time), has non-stop traffic making it ideal for AI (hub for Southwest Airlines) and is great for Virtual Airline Ops and Virtual Corporate Pilots, with a great view of downtown Dallas during approach and departure. PhotoRico Scenery targeted this airport early in the summer of 2022, and expedited the development so that flight simmers need not wait any longer for a decent representation of this airport. It was developed with the virtual airline pilot in mind, hosting an average performing desktop PC. The scenery offers a good representation of the airport without sacrificing performance, emphasizing ground and building exterior details, and even some key visual references. PhotoRico KDAL was developed with the average equipped sim pilot in mind. It features different complexity levels to suit different user needs. A scenery complexity level of Normal/Dense will provide a sufficient level if detail to make the simulation experience enjoyable. Features Every single major building, hangar, parking garage, and key airport feature has been modeled in detail. Terminal textures were made from actual pictures taken by the developer.Ground Textures are highly detailed and feature all the current ground markings and signange, using HD Texturizing methods.Airport has excellent night environment blending, which makes for a great airport to operate at night. Terminal features 3D Dynamic Ligts. Taxiway has custom 3D Lights with bloom and ground refelections. Runways 31L, 31R and 13L feature custom animated MALSF Approach lighting.Airport immediate surrounding has been modeled, including Mockingbird Ave shops, and the Southwest Airlines HQ and Training Facilities.Current Airport Developments are featured! KDAL is currently undergoing a major apron, ramp and taxiway modernization project to meet latest FAA safety requirements. As such, the old diagonal runway was eliminated with plans of adding new taxiways to interconnect the North and South runways. PhotoRico KDAL has incorporated these new taxiways per the proposals submitted to the City of Dallas. Additionally, RWY 13R/31L features runway exits per the recent project completion. Custom Animated Jetways PhotoRico KDAL includes custom modeled jetways that use native FSX code. This allows docking operation from a simple CTL-J command, as well as providing the ability for the jetways to dock to new generation AI Aircraft. The jetway can also be operated from the PMDG 737 FMC panel, via the Airplane Service Page. A separate jetway bgl file is included for GSX modifications. Note: See PRS_KDAL_Readme.pdf for jetway limiations. Scenery Compatibility This scenery was developed and tested using Prepar3D 4.5, and it is intended for use on Prepar3D versions 4.5 and higher ONLY!. This scenery will not work on FSX nor earlier P3D versions, and trying to use it will cause the simulator to CTD. 21. /images/notams/notams22/bluegrass.jpgBluegrass and WestWind Airlines are running a Great Caribbean Air Rally in September. The rally consists of 10 daily legs. Flight information will be made available for FS2004, FSX, P3D and X-Plane, together with details for MSFS flights. Details of the flights and weather are provided so that anyone with a different simulator can make up their own flight plans. The rally will officially run from September 1st until October 1st. Flexibility in flight reporting throughout the rally period will be accepted. You may select any propeller driven aircraft of your choice, be it default, freeware or payware suited to your simulator. The event is not a race, each participant is asked to complete a simple test flight at their chosen cruise speed for their selected aircraft. Individual scores will then be calculated on the accuracy of matching target times set for each entry. Flight plans and test flight information for the rally have now been released. This will allow time to choose an aircraft and practice the test flight time to submit with registration details. Click here for more information
