  1. Thanks, Jan, Jason, Darren & Larry - the Vision Jet has become my go-to FS airplane! It has outstanding flight and systems modeling.:pilot: I can see why it's a best-seller in the light jet RW market.
  2. A Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 G2 on the ILS 1L approach at Tampa International (KTPA). This airplane is way too much fun!!:D:cool::pilot: Cleared to land. Passing McDill Air Force Base off the right wing. On glideslope and localizer. The PFD is showing a 10-knot 45-degree right crosswind. The tall buildings of downtown Tampa are visible in the distance. Rolling out with the windsock showing the crosswind. On the ramp. Welcome to sunny Tampa! Thanks for coming along.
  3. Looks great Robert. A Lear would be an awesome addition to the MSFS bizjet lineup.
  4. Bingo! Good eye Blair. Apparently, this is not an unusual situation in Aspen, however, because the reciprocal runway 15 involves a very steep climb gradient to clear high terrain right after takeoff so it's kind of a crew tradeoff decision depending on the wind speed.
  5. After our ski outing in Aspen its time to move on to the next "Playground of the Stars" in our new Vision Jet SF50 G2 - an airplane that puts the "P" in Personal Aircraft. Vegas Baby! Ready for takeoff from Aspen Runway 33. For extra credit - what's (potentially) wrong with this picture? Chasing our shadow down the runway after liftoff. Climbing up to our cruise altitude of FL310 All that skiing has tired us out so we have our paid flight crew come over from LAX to do this 2+ hour segment while we relax in the cabin's Executive seating arrangement and watch NetFlix on the fold down screen monitor. On final and roll out on KLAS Runway 26R. On the ramp. Our crew goes thru the shutdown checklist. Time to offload our bags to the limo and head for our penthouse suite at the Venetian. Welcome to Vegas!
  6. Don't hesitate Aharon - FSX screens are every bit as good as FS2020 - especially when it comes to vintage airliners - which are sadly lacking. Would love to see some 727s, DC8s, 747-100s etc.
  7. Thanks, Aharon, and great to see you back!!
  8. Great pic of a classic plane and livery Rick.
  9. Outstanding liveries, series of shots, and fascinating historical note although the "Gloria" name seems to have been an unlucky one for all but the last aircraft!:cool::cool::cool::D
  10. Me too Jan - the more I fly it the better I like it. One of the best aircraft released for FS2020 so far I think. :pilot:
  11. Awesome repaint and shots from the "Barnstorming" era.:cool::cool:
  12. Can you ever have too many P-40s?? :D:D
  13. Very nice "Night Moves" Darryl - especially like the last 2 shots with the landing light reflections.
  14. Thanks Rick - this will have to do until I win the lotto and can buy some real toys:D
  15. With the approach plate on the MFD we're cleared for the Localizer Runway 15 approach at Aspen, As we turn and intercept the localizer the field comes in sight. We're #2 to land behind a Skywest. In the second shot, you can just make out his red and green nav lights on our nose just above the tree-covered ridge up ahead. On the localizer and glideslope. The G3000 moving purple plane symbol on the approach plate is a handy cross-check. The approach takes us over the winding waters of Roaring Creek before touching down and turning off the runway. Taxi to the ramp and shut down. Welcome to Aspen! Time to offload our snowboards and ski gear before heading into town to check into our $ 3000-a-night slopeside ski-in room at the Little Nell Hotel. Maybe we'll see a movie star in the lobby!
  16. Taking our brand new Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 G2 for a ski getaway in Aspen. Come on board for the short 45-minute flight! Check out the airplane on the ramp at Centennial. Ready for taxi with our G3000 setup for departure. The split-screen MFD shows the airport diagram and the route map. Holding short and takeoff from Runway 17L Turning on course and climbing out on the Centennial Rocky 5 departure we get a great view of the Front Range. Off the left wing in the distance, we can just make out the top of Pikes Peak through the clouds. Climbing up to our FL260 cruise altitude and heading for the snow-covered backcountry. Not much time at cruise altitude on this short flight. Just after we level off we begin our descent over the ski slopes of Vail. Approach and landing in the reply.
  17. Wow! What an awesome collection. This could make the Guinness Book of Records for most FS repaints of a classic bird!!! Brilliant.:cool::cool::cool:
  18. Superb shots! I really like the grass field takeoff effects and especially this livery.:cool::cool:
  19. Jan, Larry, Tim & Blair - many thanks for the comments. Tim: Nice shot and agree - the Garmin avionics are fantastic.
  20. Some shots of my brand new Cirrus Vision Jet SF50G2 on approach to KSAN. Flies great and has (most of) the G3000 avionics bells and whistles. As single-pilot personal aircraft go it doesn't get much better than this! If you can't afford the $3M+ price plus $700K estimated annual maintenance and operating cost for a real one  I highly recommend this one :pilot:
  21. On approach to Cancun International (MMUN) in Mexico in my brand new, bright, shiny Vision Jet SF50 G2 and cleared to land #2 following a Delta 737. Approaching the threshold the Delta was still on the runway. Sure enough, from the tower, came the call, "Vision Jet 0DG, go around." Had just enough time to snap this one quick shot while executing the procedure. The Delta is visible on the taxiway under the left wing tip.
  22. Super and beautifully framed shots of this classic! Really like the shadowing effect.:cool::cool:
  23. "Retro" is good!! Great shots!:cool::cool:
  24. Awesome series - as always! The desert camo paint is first class.:cool::cool:
